Force

In Promo by Ajax The Adonis

“Allow me to tell you a little something about force.”

“Raw, unadulterated power.”

“The thing about strength is that you can use it to form things to your liking. Every night when Mr. way announces his show he has me demonstrate just how far a little force can go.”

“My most impressive feat is to take a long metal rod or pure iron and twist it in my hands! I flex, strain, and growl as I force the bar to bend to my will. What was once a pristine and uniform bar turned into an unrecognizable mangled mass in my hands.”

“The crowd cheers, they clap, and I discard the bar as quickly as I’ve grabbed it.”

“And do you know why?”

“Because I would be unable to bend it back.”

“I could get close, yes, but it would never be the same.”

“Try as I might, it would never go back to being perfectly straight in my hands. The repercussions of my actions would forever linger upon the rebar.”

“The stress of such an attempt possibly even snapping it in two as the metal gives against such force.”

“Because no matter how much strength you have, everything has a limit.”

“The House of Judgement is quite the powerful organization, is it not? Coming from the Strongest Man in Arcadia, I would even say you have the power of the world in the palm of your hands. Night after night, at the beckoning of Zeus as your ring master, you exert that force upon Olympus.”

“Taking the entirety of Arcadia in your hands, flexing your shoulders, and bending the laws of this land to your own selfish whims. Mangling the very foundation of our home before a cheering crowd’s very eyes. Those who adore Zeus see what you do and find it to be impressive. The laws do not apply to you, Olympus is too weak to oppose you.”

“Every night the crowd watches as you wrap your hands around yet another rule, yet another life, and you force it to bend to your demands.”

“But much like the rebar that I twist, what is done cannot be undone.”

“One day you will preform your act, indulge in your own strength, and as you try to bend the rules back they will snap in two.”

“The men and women of Olympus will have tired of your shows of force. They will finally break beneath the stress you’ve imparted upon them.”

“And only then will you realize that no matter how strong you may be, there will always be a force stronger than you.”

“And on Monday I intend to show you this first hand.”

“I have tired of your iron grasp, Narcissa. I will treat you as you have treated the people, the laws, of Arcadia.”

“And I will twist you into a mangled mess in front of a cheering crowd.”

“Fight it, beg for forgiveness if you must, but I will never let go.”

“But as you lay in a heap on the mat, remember.”

“What does not kill you makes you stronger.”
