[The opening notes of "Up Jumped the Devil" by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds begins to play as the camera tightens in on the entrance way.]
ANNOUNCER: And coming to the ring by way of the Seventh Level of Hell..
[As Nick Cave begins to croon the curtain snaps open and out steps Old Nick Morningstar, he pauses at the top of the ramp and lets his cold gaze fall over the crowd.]
ANNOUNCER: Standing six-foot-six and weighing in at two-hundred and forty-five pounds..
[As the song kicks in Old Nick begins his saunter toward the ring, his pace in absolute rhythm of the song.]
ANNOUNCER: Here is... Old! Nick! Morningstarrrr!
[Reaching ringside, Nick makes his way to the ring steps and slowly ascends, pausing on the apron to wipe the soles of his shoes on the canvas mat. Gliding through the ropes, he shoots himself off the opposite side and rebounds back. Gripping the rope in an over-under grip, he yanks firmly, stretching his muscles. The music fades as Old Nick makes his way to his corner.]
BIOGRAPHY:
Old Nick is the embodiment of Satan on Earth. Growing bored with the duties of Hell, Old Nick decided to take a human host so that he could experience the pleasures of the flesh and all that it entails.
Having been “in the flesh” for sometime now, Old Nick has had to develop a cover story to blend in up here and what better way than to join up with the most carny of carnies, wrestling.
Using his knowledge of human desire and greed, Old Nick is a formidable opponent for any who dare to stand in his path of a Hell on Earth .
