“I did it!”

“I become the NXT Level champion. Those losses I’ve taken have paid off! I beat every doubt, every failure, and every moment of hestiation. I took those whispers, insults, and lies Klaus fed me; I shoved them down their throats the moment I won this championship.”

“But why does it feel like I’m still locked in a cage?”

“I now remember… Klaus still owns me; the contract I’ve signed months ago is still in his hands. But does he really think he owns me now? I’m the only one in ‘The Circus’ that is holding this gold around my waist.”

“I guess in some twisted way, I got to thank Klaus for making me be this way, but as much compliment I can give to him. On paper, you may own me, but in spirit, I’m still a man of my own. This title I’m holding—I won it all on my own while none of you all come to help—is not that I needed one but still, this is MY title, not ‘The Circus.’ I earned this, I bled for this, and I definitely fought for this all by myself.”

“And now I want my freedom back. I know you’ve been avoiding Red and his attorneys like a plague, but how much longer are you going to hide from them? I bet because deep down inside, you know that you are losing control, and the only way for you to have a sense of control is with my contract, but even then, you know that I’m too much to handle. Believe me that one day, you will get that letter, but right now, I’m focusing on defending this title.”

“Red… on to you. I know the reason we were having this match, but I’m putting this title up for grabs because you are a former champ that didn’t get their rematch clause, and as a champion, I would like to give you a chance to reclaim the title back.”

“But this is also another opportunity to write what’s wrong. I’ve lost to you the first time, but this time is different; I’m no longer the sad Mighty that is crying about the world, but I’m now a different Mighty, a more motivated Mighty. I respect you, Red, for helping me out even though it takes a lot of begging, but when that bell rings, I’m not a champion that needs savings; I’m the champion that has something to prove.”

“I’ll prove it not just to you, not just Klaus, but to myself. So far, I’ve done a very good job fighting my way out of this doubt away. I know I’m good enough now, and I’ll prove it.”

“Red, do you want this title back? Then you’ll be ready to take it from me. Because I’ll be dammed if I let it slip through my fingers after everything I’ve been through to get here. Are you ready to have fun, Red?
