Mr. Gray claims to walk the fine life between life and death, between both good and bad. He says he is more of a concept than a person and claims he cannot die just as much as he cannot live. His actions are just as mysterious, as he claims every bit of evil he has done was not without kindness, nor was his kindness without malice. No one remembers how long he’s been locked up, simply that he appeared one day and hasn’t decided to leave. His very existence, in a way, feels like a paradox.
