All throughout Arcadia, at this time of year, people gather with their loved ones. They make time to get together. It is a time for family and love.
But for some, Christmas time is anything but merry and bright.
While all over Arcadia, people dream of their Christmases of white. They wish for presents under the tree. For some, their single Christmas wish is the one thing they cannot have.
More time.
🎵 I’ll have a blue Christmas without you
I’ll be so blue just thinking about you 🎵
Behind the bars of a prison cell, a man waits. Alone, reflecting on the choices made that led him to be in his predicament, he doesn’t wish for his freedom. He wishes for a single day to spend with his family.
Just a little time.
But nobody comes to visit him. Alone, forgotten, he wishes that his life had taken a different turn.
Oh, if ifs and buts were candy and nuts, we’d all have a merry Christmas, mi amigos.
🎵And when those blue snowflakes start falling
That’s when those blue memories start calling 🎵
We can each be caught in our own prisons, just waiting for that fleeting moment with our loved ones that have gone before us, mi amigos.
Jackson Cade sits behind his prison of helplessness. A mother whose very life lies in the balance of how his family plays the hand they are dealt. Jackson helplessly watches as CJ is forced to play Redgrave’s sick games. He helplessly plays along with the twisted games of Narcissa, standing trial for crimes twisted out of context.
What Jackson Cade wouldn’t give for a simple family Christmas day, but his wishes are going to be left unfulfilled.
Harold Attano is caught behind prison bars of reconnection. A past that has cost him the love of his daughter. The attitude of a regretful father, trying to make up for choices he has made. A daughter that wants nothing to do with him.
Attano would rather burn the prison down to speak to her. But you cannot force love, and he cannot get back the time he has lost with her.
🎵You’ll be doing all right
With your Christmas of white
But I’ll have a blue…
Blue, blue, blue Christmas 🎵
You cannot force love, can you Gemini?
I see you, caught behind your own prison bars. Wanting to get back what we once had. You seek the truth, and it is that truth that keeps you locked inside your own loneliness.
We cannot get back the time we have lost, mi amor.
I cannot break you free of your prison, only you can do that. All I can do is try to break in and show you as much of that truth as I can.
Trusting that love will carry us the rest of the way to freedom.
Or die trying.
We have a choice. Keep chasing the time we have lost, or fight for what time we have left.
Hear the music playing behind your prison bars and sing along, mi amor.
