Chief of fun

In Mighty Mighty, Promo by Mighty Mighty

“Well… Let get the party started!”

[Mighty is seen partying at his house as he celebrates his second month with OSW. Music is blasting; people are dancing and having a fun time. He saw a camera filming the festivity, and he gestured for the cameramen to come towards him. As they reach to him, he starts to speak.]

“Ladies and gentlemen, gather ’round! It’s your favorite “big chunk of funk,” Mighty Mighty, and what you see here is one of the biggest parties that I’ve ever hosted! Isn’t that right, people?”

[A bunch of noise is made that they agree with Mighty statement.]

“Now, before I continue the party, lemme talk to you for a bit, Lutheran Locke. You and I were really polar opposites, weren’t we? While I like to have fun and party around, you’re miserable, trying to find answers to the box that you’re holding. Baby boy, I feel I have to say something about you and that box of yours.”

[He takes a drink from a plate that a sever that passes by Mighty as he takes a sip before he continues to speak.]

“Locke and his box. I mean, I’ve heard people say love is blind, but who knew it could be a box? But do you call it love, though, because my friend, I’ve been observing you for a little bit, and man, what you have with the box isn’t love, but more of a failed arrange marriage, and you don’t want to disappoint your parents.”

[He gives a wink to the camera before continuing to speak.]

“But let’s be honest, there is something that both you and I have in common; we haven’t been getting our first win in this company, and I’m sure that it’s not fun for the both of us, but more for you because I can feel that your box of a wife is nagging at you about why you keep losing. No wonder you look miserable, but at the same time impressed by how much abuse you took, and brother, that’s where the similarity stops.”

[He takes another sip of his drink and continues to speak.]

“That’s one good drink. Locke, you know what you need; you need to loosen up. Have a drink or two, leave the box at home, and HAVE SOME FUN, will you? I know how miserable you are, and it seems like you don’t know how to have fun, so here’s the plan. Locke, I’m going to be chief of fun, where once you enter Funkytown, you will never leave and even forget about the box because you have so much fun, but that will be after I get my first win.”

[He takes another drink from a sever that passes by him and finishes the drink in one go.]

“So now… Lutheran Locke, are you ready to have fun with this “big chunk of funk” once more? See you soon.”

[He starts to dance once more as the scene fades to black.]
