Complete Silence

Destructo BoyDestructo Boy, Promo

In the very early days of Arcadia all but the highest of levels were rife with darkness and decay. Malevolent monsters stalked the seemingly endless nights to torture and defile the innocent and it didn’t matter how many warriors patrolled the floors or how many villains were dispatched.

For every one that fell, two seemed to appear in their place and soon it was feared that Arcadia itself would be overrun by purest evil.

Until one day a simple piper appeared before the Elder. He claimed with a single melody he could entrance every one of those monsters, march them up to the highest level and leave them all vulnerable to Arcadia’s true justice. The Elder was skeptical but with little option left before the darkness beat at his door, he give the piper leave to complete his mission.

One week later the piper returned, guiding a thousand malevolent souls entranced by a simple melody ready for the slaughter. This simple musician had done in seven days what the greatest armies could hope to do in years. Yet the Elder…he wasn’t convinced.

Believing this piper a mere trickster, possibly even behind the rise of the monsters in the first place. He denied any reward, demanding the piper leave his sight before he cut him down on the very spot he stood on. In rage, the piper left vowing vengeance would come to the Elder.

One month later, the affluent awoke in their houses to a living nightmare. Every single one of their children had vanished in the night and the only clue they had was a single familiar looking flute left outside the Elders door.

They found him at the deepest level of Arcadia, right in front of the entrance to the sealed entrance to the Underworld with a malevolent smile upon his face. He offered no resistence to the Elder’s blade but the children were never found again and every so often, silver tongued devils emerge with the soul of the piper, ready to create havoc once more.

I have seen the dead of midnight, I have heard the whisperings that this owl is somehow different then the rest but even in my short life I have heard this tale far too many times not to recognize the patterns

The thing is Malakai, you believe you’re unique,  that your word of Midnight can truly sway the minds of any man but you’re just another conman preying on the weak and defenceless. A devil in different clothing, a suit who revels in the darkness, a messiah who only believes in himself.

You can change the name, alter the appearence and modify the ideals but the melody remains the same. A seductive hymn sung by a hypocritical coward who needs others to even attempt to fight for himself

So inside that ring, I will brutalise the great Malakai Midnight in front of anyone who believed his lies. I will shine the Midday sun onto your darkness and show your owls exactly who you truly are. A weak and pathetic fool without the song to guide him.

And one step closer to silencing the piper forever.
