So my list leaves out *nearly* every former World Champion or World Champion handler. I think Daws and Bryno get in with Hatchet and Nox and that's it unless I'm missing something. I'd love to see this Ring King really give someone an opportunity to make themselves.

Tried to avoid duplicates the best I could. I also tried to pick people that were killing it currently or have the potential to kill it when in these situations. Laner was avoided as he's currently the champ and Robbie's avoided because he doesn't need it, I feel. I think every match with these people in it could be wicked fun and can't wait to see the official brackets.

I wanted mainly to see Ring King as that opportunity to launch a character to a new level. I went with the 16 characters that I think would be most interesting if they took that chance and ran with it, who could be the most interesting in a world championship storyline.
It could be the chance for Gravedigger or Midnight to step up and out from Tombstone. The fight against all odds storyline for Aurora, Cap, Cade or Foley. The power play of Hatchet or Klaus Way. The breakout story of breaking through that glass ceiling for Mighty Mighty or Graves. How good would the Watcher story be? How about the taking control of the universe by Nox or Redgrave. Such cool spinoff potential.
