ENTRANCE:
Wind blows through Olympus, foretelling Conquest. Red light fills the arena as smoke rises.
Rotting Christ's "Dies Irae" explodes into the crowd's ears as Grimskull appears on the stage. With the sounds of heavy chanting filling him with prophetic purpose, Grimskull grins. His purple eyes glow, an eternal fire burning within them. Holding his arms out, he drops to his knees and soaks in the praise of those who would call him god.
He marches to the ring, fists clenched in fury. As he gets in the squared circle he stalks a wide circle around its center, reminding everyone what his purpose is. Standing in the center finally, he raises his arms up, demanding all look upon him.
BIOGRAPHY:
Grimskull was once called Walther. He was a Death Row inmate, sentenced to death, given a chance at escape by the mysterious Third Eye cult. When he reneged on his pledge to join them, they dipped his head into molten liquid, leaving only a skull upon his head. A mysterious man found him, still alive somehow.
It was John the Revelator. He named Grimskull one of his Horsemen. Conquest.
But before his mission came to pass, Grimskull roamed the Slums, becoming a preacher to the people there, almost a god even. He warred with his old partner Vincent, now the Third Eye prophet Vision.
Until John needed him. Now it's time for Conquest to rise.
