ENTRANCE:
The guitar of Daysend's "Breathe It In" begins to reverberate through the speakers as a thick fog begins to cover the floor. When the drums hit and the song picks up momentum, Heath Solman slowly walks through the curtains and reveals himself to the crowd. He appears drained of energy already as he shuffles his way to the ring. He doesn't acknowledge the cheers or boos of the audience as he drags his feet to the ring. Upon making it to the steps, he pauses for a while before punching himself in the face, as if trying to convince himself to get inside the squared circle. He eventually climbs the stairs and pulls himself into the ring. He then walks towards his corner, where he takes a seat, waiting for the bell to ring.
BIOGRAPHY:
Heath's life was very uneventful growing up. His family was dirt poor but worked their asses off in order to afford their small house in the countryside. His father was a construction worker (which would be an occupation Heath himself would later take up) while his mother worked as a waitress in a chain restaurant. Neither of which were paid all that much, but they made enough to support themselves and the child.
It wasn't until he turned twenty that discovered his curse.
Solman's father died while renovating a local drug store. A support beam fell on top of him and crushed his ribs, killing him instantly. His mother followed not long after, suffering a stroke in the middle of a rather busy day and smacking her head against a table corner. This completely devastated him emotionally, resulting in him becoming more introverted and seclusive towards the rest of his town. Only a month later, he decided to kill himself after the loneliness became too much for him to bear. Grabbing a kitchen knife, he ran to the bathroom and slit his throat, hoping to find some peace from his misery.
Unfortunately, this resulted in even immense pain and no scars to show that he attempted to kill himself. He tried it again only to end up with the same result. Not wanting to jump to any supernatural conclusions, however, he instead decided to jump off a building while on fire to see if he really can't die.
Sure enough, once the firefighters put out the fire, not one burn wound or broken bone could be found on his body. That's when Heath and the rest of the town discovered that he was immortal.
This revelation made Solman feel worse. Not only was he an emotional wreck, but now he knew that nothing could kill him. As a result, he ended up touring the states looking for someone and something that could potentially cure him of his curse. While doing this, he discovered a recruitment flyer for OSW. Thinking that he has nothing else to lose and hearing of the supernatural entities that came to the federation once upon a time, he joined the fed.
