If I could be serious for a minute..

Quote from Jasper Redgrave on 22 December 2024, 15:18So.. 10 fucking Red Snows, huh? It's been a long road, but I think OSW is stronger than ever. I feel like last night's show proved that. Not only was the show top tier but the production was insane as well. I didn't get to pop into the voice chat after the show, so I wanted to come here and share some thoughts and some praises.
Dean, we of course start with you brother. The amount of dedication and time that you have put into not just last night's show.. not just every weekly show.. but everything you've done over ten fucking years is insane brother. Your graphics get better and better with each passing month. Personally, for me, you've just put out some of your best story telling over this past year. You're a beast in your own right, and I wouldn't want anyone else heading a fed that I'm writing in. And it's more than that. It's more than OSW. You and I have been close friends for damn near a third of our lifetime brother. I wouldn't change that for the world. I know if I need someone to truly lend an ear, I can count on you. I hope you feel the same. Thank you brother.
Laner, my man. You fucking killed it last night and every night that there's a live show. Without you these live shows wouldn't be half as special as they are. The passion that you read a show with is so apparent and I love the excitement that you give throughout a night's time. You did an amazing job with last night's production as well, some of the best I've seen in any sort of efedding capacity. You make showing up for the live shows worth every ticking minute brother. We're not as close as say Dean and I but brother, you've been around almost nearly just as long as I've known Dean and I will always hold you within high regard. There isn't a thing in my power that I wouldn't do for you either, bud. And, I'll say it again, it's a true honor to share the Red Snow stage with you.
Damo, Hayden, Dawson. The three of you have all helped me along the way in some way over this past year. I know if I just would like someone to read through a promo or if I'd like to bounce an idea off of someone that I can count on any of you three to be there. I can't thank you all enough for that.
Frank, Connor, Mel. I know the three of you aren't around in the discord much, and that's fine. I just wanted to let all three of you know how amazing you guys are. The three of you put out the best work the most consistently here and I, for one, use that as inspiration to keep going. The talent that the three of you share keeps me striving to become a better writer, and for that I would like to thank you. (Laner, you're also on this list but youve had your turn lol)
Match Writers and creative.. you guys fucking kill it week in and week out. Without you guys, there isn't much of a show. Just know that you guys work together to put together each and every show and you guys do so flawlessly. Last night should be a marker for all of you, a moment in time that says hey, we did this. We put on the 10th Red Snow and it went off without a hitch. It was a fucking amazing show, and I'd say it's high contention for one of the bests. Thank you all.
And lastly, to those of you who are new, or kind of freshly returning.. I admire you all. This latest crop of new recruits really stood out to me. Each of you have been doing such an amazing job trying to adapt to the OSW style.. and it's honestly just so refreshing to see you guys come in and share the same passion that those of us who's been here has. I love to see your guy's excitement and the journeys that you have started here in OSW. I hope that last night's show only helped in keeping you guys excited to be here. I look forward to seeing each and every single one of you grow.
With that being said, here's to ten more, boys!

Quote from El Mariachi Muerte on 22 December 2024, 19:02You deserve the strap mate.
It's been bubbling away for a while, you toiling your craft and just producing amazing pieces of writing.
I think back to when I was handling Escher, and watching the stuff you were putting together as Redgrave... There's always been that special quality about Redgrave that's hard to replicate. He was always going to the top. The guy in OSW that's the most hated, somehow more than Zeus himself, or the Corporation... And that's flipping saying something.
Merry Christmas ya filthy animal.

Quote from Tombstone on 22 December 2024, 23:51Congratulations! I have to echo everything you've said here as well. I personally have a real difficult home life situation at times, even with my mom in the care home now, it seems like I'm trying to manage working and going back and forth to support her as often as I can. OSW is always a release and an outlet for me. Red Snow was amazing and I'm not sure what I'd do if I didn't have OSW to come back to every week.

Quote from Felix Foley on 24 December 2024, 17:41Thanks for the kind words, Brian. I for one am very happy to see you finally become OSW World Champion. It's been a long time coming and I know you've been knocking on the door with characters like Deathnote and Redgrave for some time. To see you finally do it was a wonderful moment. Carry it well, friend. Being an OSW World Champion is a huge honor and you've joined a long list of great writers who've done it. I'm proud for you!

Quote from Klaus Way on 30 December 2024, 00:22I'll be honest I thought you'd already won it before. I guess he truly is Wasper Wedgrave now. Well done :).

Quote from Gravedigger on 5 January 2025, 23:29I can't help but echo everything you've said here, Jasp. E-fedding can mean a lot of different things for different people and before I came here, I thought I understood what that was for me. I came in writing promos that followed a very similar boring scripted narrative that did nothing but feel repetitive and that's because in a lot of places, repetitive is what you do. You write repetitive shit for thousands of words, you win or lose, and you rinse and repeat.
Understanding how this place works unlocks the true potential of the hobby in general. I couldn't see myself participating anywhere else and that comes down to the graphics, the promo style, the shows, the storylines and Dean. I wouldn't handle in another fed. OSW has gladly spoiled what was becoming a tedious hobby. It has turned it into something enjoyable once again and I'm so happy to be writing every week.
Congratulations on the title victory.
