BURNING QUESTIONS:

(What questions has the show left you with?)

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

(Which promo was your favourite of the week?)

HAVE YOUR SAY:

(How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

(Three moments of the show that stood out to you and why.)

  1. Brother’s Keeper – I really enjoyed this, the idea of that part of Jackson’s memory that is CJ telling him to keep going.  It was emotional and brought back a bit of the Lion King when Simba sees Mufasa in the clouds.  This did a great job of setting up for the main event while setting the tone for Jackson Cade being on his own.
  2. Roar is War – Just damn, are these three men we’re going to have to contend with moving forward.  It looks like Destructo and Captain Arcadia have mutual enemies, I hope this drives the two heroes to unite against a group that looks to be bad ass.
  3. The Night Belongs – This was the most Attitude Era ending ever.  The “Good Guys” are outnumbered by the “baddies”, a group of unlikely men run into save them, and one asshole comes out to ultimately stab the “goodies” in the back.  Seriously, I cannot wait to see how this sets Graves up to challenge for the World Championship.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

Who the fuck beat the daylights out of Destructo and Arcadia?  Are they the next Kingdom?

Is EMM Alive?!  What part did Caido play in his rescue?  Will Drewitt be willing to hunt him down?

When will Grimskull confront Drewitt about letting Gemini go?  What will the fallout be?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

Sisyphus – The moment I read this, I knew I was boned.  I loved the portrayal of the story of Sisyphus here and how Dawson framed the whole thing around Jackson pulling himself out of his brother’s grave.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

Nox: I have to say, I loved the way Nox retained his Tag Title working with Eclipse.  I also have to say I am grateful Eclipse is still the other half of the Tag Team Champions.  I've enjoyed working with Mikey; he’s a lovely gentleman, and I was delighted when we captured our titles.  Also, the Doomsday Destroyer if fucking awesome if I do say so myself.

Harold: I wrote the open, and I have to say, I enjoyed how Harold came across there as a man who worked for Zeus and speaking to the history of the Seeker.  Then at the end of the sho,w putting up a fight even with the odds against him.  I was surprised Harold stood in shock and didn’t attempt to level that crooked ass preacher, but I guess that happen this coming week.

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

1. The Night Belongs: I was genuinely shocked and pumped when “O Fortuna” hit. That’s my guy’s music! To have Graves featured after the main event of a PPV? That’s unreal. I never thought I’d see Graves standing toe-to-toe with the world champ or getting that kind of main event reaction. This moment will be in my Top 3 for a long time.

2. Bully: The opening segment was badass. I’d never heard the song before, but it set the tone perfectly. One thing I love about OSW is the music choices—they elevate the emotion every time. Killer way to open the show.

3. The Thought That Lingers: I love that Grimskull is starting to piece things together. It’s always satisfying when a story slowly unravels and we’re right there for the ride. Great writing, and I’m all in on where this is going.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

• Will Nero cost Graves his world title match?

• Why are the intruders targeting Captain Arcadia and Destructo?

• Who will win the war between the Seekers and the Preservationists?

• What happens when Grimskull finds out about Drewitt letting Gemini go?

FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

Whatever the Weather: You’ve got a real gift with words. It was clever without being overcomplicated, and the weather metaphor worked perfectly. That “I’m the weatherman” line? Perfection.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

First off great match, Rob. I’ve truly enjoyed this rivalry and I don’t think we’re done yet. I was bummed about the gauntlet being fake, but honestly? That twist made it even better.

This Kaos PPV means a lot to me. Being in the world title picture is something I don’t take lightly. From Dean booking it to everyone being cool with my character having this spot I’m just grateful. I don’t see myself as a “main event guy,” but I’ll give it everything I’ve got. Win or lose, I’m proud to be part of this chapter of OSW history.

OSW is more than just wrestling it’s the passion, a legit community. The support from this roster is like nothing I’ve ever experienced in e-feds. Everyone wants to see each other succeed, and that’s rare. The only issue I’ve had was the weird Josh Conway incident, but Dean handled that like a pro. The rest? Nothing but good vibes.

I know I ramble in these, but I mean it when I say thank you all. Being part of these events is an honour.

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

(Three moments of the show that stood out to you and why.)

  1. The Night Belongs: Big stand off moment that really could've ended the show well.  But the addition of a new challenger heightened it because no one really knew who was on what side so it was equally as believable that one person would've joined or betrayed for their own self interests. Was really strong.
  2. Brother's Keeper: I think there was something relatively interesting and powerful about the character about the idea of it not being Nox's chemical that was causing him to have this moment with CJ. It was something deep within him that made him have this moment that it drove him to break out of the grave.  Very interesting character moment that I liked.
  3. Bully: This felt like a rather proper opening video package to a PPV, and gave quick glimpses and reminders of everyone's motivations and reasons for how things ended up here. I really liked it and the song choice was perfect.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  1. What is Caido's connection to EMM? And is EMM Alive?
  2. Who the hell attacked Arcadia and Destructo?
  3. What will happen to Ayame now that the wolf is dead?
  4. What is Nero's end game with the Church?
  5. Will Grimskull confront Drewitt for Gemini go?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

I really liked Whatever The Weather. It was a really fun comparison that was very simple and didn't need to be. Good work.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

I had fun this cycle and like always I'm very curious to see where the next step will take this character. This is a big pivot point for her so I'm good to see what to happen and go from there. Good job to Dragon.

On a side note I really had fun reading the Kaos match as a whole, the stipulation match was a very fun one that I kept going back to from the story that was being told in the ring to how the ruleset of the match worked in general. I had a blast reading it.  This one probably should've been in my favorite moments but there was a lot of good stuff.

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

  1. Rage II - This segment was brilliantly written and felt like I was watching it unfold on TV in real time. The moment with the shovel was especially well done - the tension, the delay before impact, only for Tombstone to snatch it away from Gravedigger at the last second. It instantly brought to mind an old-school Raw moment when Triple H swung the sledgehammer only to be stopped in tracks - perhaps by The Undertaker? The cliffhanger at the end was a nice touch as well and leaves us on a knife-edge going into Warzone this week.
  2. Find Them - This was a brilliant continuation of the 'He's Gone' segment from earlier in the night, addressing many of the questions that would have lingered otherwise. I really appreciated how it tied back to last week too, particularly in explaining Gravedigger’s involvement with Ares during the ten bell salute. If anyone ever doubted the level of planning and detail that goes into these storylines, this would sure as hell put them straight. The storytelling here was incredible, shedding light on key developments whilst still leaving us with some major unanswered questions.
  3. The Night Belongs - This was a perfect way to follow the main event, and likewise end to the show in my opinion. After defying the odds, Jackson Cade looked like he was about to be completely overwhelmed by a pack of rabid dogs until the Seekers made the save. What followed was pure chaos, with the Preservationists flooding the ring, the Seekers arriving to even the odds, and then that moment with Ezekiel Graves. It seemed certain The Reverend was about to join the Seekers, only for him to turn on them at the last second. An absolutely killer twist that ensured the Preservationists walked away looking stronger than ever - even in defeat.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  • What happened to Wolf Fang Ayame after the Council of Lucha took her from the ring? It felt like some kind of dark ritual.
  • Who were the two masked figures helping the big guy out from last week? Could one of them be the Zookeeper?
  • Where did Tombstone and Gravedigger vanish off to?
  • What's the link between Caido and EMM?
  • Will Grimskull act on his memories and confront Drewitt?
  • Who was the second person in the room with Caido?
  • Why Ezekiel? You son of a bitch - tell me whhhyyyy..

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

Jackson Cade/Sisyphus. Daws is absolutely crushing it with Cade right now - so much so that I think this might be the strongest character he’s ever run in OSW, which is saying a lot. I loved the Sisyphus narrative and how it illustrated Jackson’s unwavering resolve, fighting to climb out of his brother’s metaphorical grave despite constant setbacks. A phenomenal piece of writing.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

As I mentioned in last week’s feedback, I had a feeling Nero might have had a backup plan in case he lost to Ezekiel Graves. The Reverend won’t be pleased with this latest stunt - Nero has been making a habit of embarrassing him of late and this will only add fuel to the fire. To make matters worse, Nero has warned there will be more to come, but you have to wonder if the tables will turn eventually. The Red Reboot is playing a very dangerous game, and it feels like only a matter of time before he gets burned - especially now that Graves has the full support of the Preservationists.

TOP THREE MOMENTS:
The Night Belongs - BIG ZEKE! A huge edition to the side of The Preservationists, if you ask me. The moment he turned and laid Cade down with a chokeslam, I nearly jumped from my seat in excitement.
Brother's Keeper - Exactly what Cade needed, even if it was his own mind that gave it to him in the end. A pep talk. One that spoke volumes coming from the memory of his dead brother. I loved the writing here. Brilliant.
Roar is War - Balaclava gang! This big man already had my attention with attacking Destructo and Arcadia single handedly last week, but now he's not alone? Who are these three masked individuals and what do they want with Arcadia and Destructo?

BURNING QUESTIONS:
- What's to come of Ayame?
- Who's the beast of a man, and now, who is with him?
- Why are Arcadia and Destructo being targeting by the three?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

Sisyphus - Congrats on a nice win and defense bro.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

Not much in the way of a segment for Jasper this week, but congrats to all the Champions. I do like the edition of Ezekiel Graves to the preservationists side, I'm a bit of a fan of Zeke's.

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

(Three moments of the show that stood out to you and why.)

  1. I'm going to go for a two-hander here: 'He's Gone' and 'Find Them' - the setup at the start of the show of a mystery 'body' apparently on the medical/morgue table, followed by the payoff at the end of the show that it was Muerte and maybe he won't stay dead forever was a great one-two punch. More later!
  2. Brother's Keeper - this was a really cinematic segment that really pulled on the heartstrings. You even see the transformation in Cade from start to end - really good.
  3. The Night Belongs - what a big ending to a big show. Someone else has mentioned that it feels really old school - I agree. The good guys vs. the bad guys will never get old and this was a prime example of it working to it's potential.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

(What questions has the show left you with?)

  • Will Hatchet now join the seekers or will he stay a true neutral?
  • What does Ayame being the Dragon Princess instead of the Wolf actually mean? And is it even true, or is she faking it until the Wolf can get revenge?
  • I still want to know who the footprint belongs to!
  • Who are the people attacking Destructo and Arcadia? They are getting quite a big spotlight on the shows so I think it must be significant.
  • Gravediggers little ring entrance - not really a question, I just liked it!
  • Where did Gravedigger and Tombstone flutter off to at the end?
  • I knew Nero would just not bring the gauntlet! But where does this leave Graves now, and what is next?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

(Which promo was your favourite of the week?)

Has to be Cade - Sisyphus. It got number 1 and kept him the title for a reason.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

(How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)

DREWITT

So Grimskull thinks he knows what is going on with Drewitt letting Gemini go? I think there is a small chance that Grimskull is actually on side with this, given it seemed he only agreed to be part of the Preservationists in order to get Colt back for Drewitt, though the line about the anger throws me a bit, so for now I'll presume this is leading to a Drewitt vs Grimskull finale.

Then of course Ares essentially hires Drewitt to find the maybe-not-so-dead Muerte. Could this revelation actually be the thing that changes Drewitt's mind about the Preservationists and so could we potentially see Grimskull and Drewitt on opposite sides but not the sides you'd expect?

KLAUS

Not much to talk about with Klaus this week, which is a shame, but I'm sure he'll be back on screens a bit more soon.

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

(Three moments of the show that stood out to you and why.)

  1. The Night Belongs felt like a fantastic wrap up for how the Preservationists have been rolling this month, the all out brawl and just barely getting the numbers higher to squeeze out a victory that still feels like a cheated undercut. The twist with the new arrival of Graves and what side he was aligned on was something just absolutely spectacular.
  2. Find Them was bloody good, the twist reveal that El Mariachi Muerte wasn't dead. That the whisper Gravedigger had for Ares showed his soul was never ferried, and that death cannot claim the one who holds it's mantle (As per Apokalypis)
  3. Bully was a fantastic opening segment, and I think it's going to be one of those pieces we see come back. The betrayal of the preservationists run deep, and there's only so long before the Seekers come back and come back hard. It helped set a tone that I think we're going to see a lot more of coming up here soon.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  • Who are the balaclava wearing guys beating up Arcadia and Destructo?
  • What's the next step in Tombstone's plan for revenge for Gravedigger?
  • What will be the fate now of Calypso?
  • With Ayame's defeat, how will she be reborn under a mask?
  • Where the hell is the body of CJ Thorpe?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

El Dragón y el Lobo. There was just something about the narration, the confidence and the attitude that El Dragon had that really stuck out to me in the promo that felt like I was listening to an actual luchador speak to me.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

Well, that was something else let me tell you. Loved it of course, but these strange balacalava'd men keep popping up and curbstomping my poor lad. Perhaps we'll get the two putting their differences aside and dealing with whatever these masked men are doing. Still, fantastic stuff.

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

(Three moments of the show that stood out to you and why.)

  1. We don't have to take this we can end it all... What a cool way to begin a PPV event. Love the voice of Attano coming through here, riling up the crowd and getting them to chant along with the song. The energy that would have given live would have been off the hook!
  2. I think we definitely have to give some love to the moment Cade turned into Stone Cold and flipped off the entire group of people looking to end his ass, then took the fight to them. The moment he pulled the double birds, bloody awesome... Followed later by him then standing tall on top of them all, awesome.
  3. Death of a Wolf: I've been really interested in this story as a side from the preservationists vs the seekers, and I was particularly intrigued as to what would happen if Caido won at Kaos. The way this was written though was beautiful...

He kneels beside her, lifting the golden dragon mask offered from ringside. Slowly, reverently, he places it upon her chest.

“They’ll call this a victory. But I know what it cost.”

Her hand twitches. Her fingers find the mask and close around it.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  • What will be the Dragon Princess? I'm so intrigued!
  • The thought that lingers hints to a massive turmoil within Grimskull. Just where will that lead him? Who else is going to be pulled back into this rage that bubbles inside of him?
  • Wait... so I'm alive?! With some sick scar?!
  • Graves picks his side, so what does this mean for the seekers now?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

Whatever the Weather - This was just a perfectly executed breakdown of a character's entire gimmick. Taking the very voice and package that Sunshine is and twist it around, that's damned fine writing. I knew I was in trouble the second I read that go home line too.

Clap clap Mel, well done mate.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

EMM:

I really love how this has all come together. Thinking he was a gonner, now getting the sense that he might not be. But what state he'd be in after going through everything he's gone through, who knows?!

SUNSHINE:

The outcome of him losing against Foley here is interesting. To then have the kids allegiances fall more towards Felix's Fun House would hurt Sunshine, but how dee that hurt runs? Is he the kind of guy that's keen on getting even, or will it bring out something else entirely? I don't know, but I'm keen to find out!

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

1. Jackson's triumph over the insurmountable odds in the Kaos match. That son of a bitch pulled off one of the hardest tasks in OSW that I know of. That being walking into a ring full of champions and one former champion and retaining the belt he walked in with. It was an awesome moment at the main event that saw the Preservationist's plan fall apart because Jasper was too stubborn to allow someone else to take care of Cade. I cheered at this and I hope there's more victories like this for the former Sheriff to come.

2. The Night Belongs takes the next placement. Thanks for getting my hopes up about the Seekers having an edge against the Preservationists for once. 😛 Sure I figured there was no way someone like Graves would join Cade's side, but I thought the same thing about Hatchet and he's joined the Seekers now. I liked seeing the chokeslam to Jackson after the initial shock wore off, just to rub salt in the open wound. Amazing ending seg that downplayed the Eagle's triumphant victory just moments ago.

3. I'll be a homer and put Rage 2 here. Having Tombstone save Calypso was cool enough. Seeing him and Gravedigger go at it after the brutal match between the Valkyrie and the Voodoo Child not a moment later? That was sick. It has me looking forward to the next installment of the feud between Ferrymen and hoping that it'll be just as violent as what we saw here.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

What happens to Ayame now that the wolf inside her is pretty much gone? What will she look like in a mask? Will she try to take it off at some point, or is this her new life now?

Who are the mysterious men that attacked Destructo and Captain Arcadia? Are they related to the big guy that mystery man sent after the both of them last week? Was that the same big man that manhandled them last week?

What's the next step for Mr. Sunshine now that the children have their champion in Felix Foley? Will he try to win them back? Is there something more devious lined up in his future?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

Magic by Gravedigger takes it for me. Dude really knows how to see right through a magic trick, doesn't he? He managed to piece together how Calypso came back to life and resolved to bury her in the ground once more, putting an end to the con. It was a fun read that made me realize he had won the moment I read it.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

Calypso: God damn, Gravedigger almost made good on his promise after all. If it hadn't been for Tombstone, she might've been slaughtered in the ring again. I'm impressed she stood defiant in the face of death, despite being in no position to be that way. I do hope this isn't the end for her story. I'd like to play as her some more before she eventually returns to the grave, herself.

Night: Not much to say for him. He appeared at the end of the seg and threw some punches, but that's about it for this show.
