POP OF THE NIGHT: (What was the moment, in segment, that you enjoyed the most and why?)

BURNING QUESTIONS: (What questions does the show have you asking after reading?)

HAVE YOUR SAY: (How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)

POP OF THE NIGHT: well holy shit can it be anything but A Shine To Your Soul ? There have been many amazing segments in OSW history but the truly legendary ones sent immediate shivers down my spine and awed me instantly. The death of Alex Reese, The debut of the Chief, the birth of Noah, the destruction of the Tap Room to name a few and I might be slightly overselling it but this feels like a segment that's going to go down in OSW legend. The lights dropping, the music setting the perfect atmosphere for terror and there she is, this monster that's been haunting Narcissa. Who proceeds to decimate her then vanish but leave a single calling card...Calypso. A name that both Hera and Zeus should know very, very goddamn well.

I do get these instincts of a segment that's going to change things, that this one or this one is the spark that leads to the big fucking story that's to come and this has to be it. Ghosts of the past coming for Hydra and there's still a billion and one questions such as how the fuck is she here? Is there going to be anyone else that Zeus purged returning such as maybe Chronos? Is Tombstone actually behind this or are these returned just using him? I'm not sure about any of those but I know this was a holy shit ender and I cannot, CANNOT wait to see what happens next.

BURNING QUESTIONS: What exactly was George Cade trying to get from Zeus?

What lengths will Attano go to get answers from CJ and the Cades?

Will Captain Arcadia be able to get any answers from Hatchet or is he just not down enough with the clown?

What will El Mariachi Muerte do to the Antagonist for hurting his friend and will he find out it was under Zeus's orders?

What else is written in Fernicus's diary? Is there a true reason he did what he did to Felix and does it have to do with the darkness inside of him?

Will Tombstone be able to save Hayes and Raven or is he going to lose a few loyal followers?

HAVE YOUR SAY:

DB: Very curious words said there, I'm a little on the fence as I think James would be trying to salvage the relationship with DOOM and Felix a little more, especially given how close they all were but saying that I feel like that moment might be coming soon. It's all been a little wrapped up with Burned Man's double falling out with both Pool Boys and Six Feet Under and if I'm right on the direction (Pool Boys vs. DB/TBM), I could see there being a lot more attempts at reconciliation there so I'm optimistically looking forward to what happens next.

Carelli: So the cat and mouse game continues. Very glad this feud between Candy and Gino is continuing on, while I'm not sure if the Troy thread has much legs left, I am curious to see what else Kane can seemingly dig up on Gino. There's absolutely a lot you can go off with his mysterious past so I'm definetly looking forward to what happens next here.

POP OF THE NIGHT:

A real big show here today, I thought. Lots of stellar matches and segments throughout. I thought A shine to your soul stole the night overall. It was a wonderfully eerie segment that finally introduced us to Calypso - the woman who's been stalking Narcissa for over a month. What an introduction this is for a character and the music fit the entire thing so well.

A shout out to the Main Event interruption segment as well. Zeus being Zeus is always terrifying and Tombstone may find himself in a lot more danger than he originally realized. I can't wait to see what happens with Raven and Mark Hayes now.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  • Do Raven & Mark Hayes escape?
  • Who is Calypso?
  • What did George meet Zeus about?
  • How fucked is Grizzly St. Claire when EMM gets his hands on him?
  • Will EMM/Gemini find out that Zeus did this?
  • Who is Hatchet working for?

HAVE YOUR SAY:

So, Felix's pop wanted to kill him? I wonder why? I'm real excited and more excited than anything else about the continuation of this story and where it leads. Felix has a past I've semi-explored with abuse in my promos but I haven't ever thought about the reason why or how it came to be. I can't wait to see where this story goes now.

Can I just say as well that I really loved this show. There's a lot of questions posed that make me eager for the next event, so much so that I've posted my promo already. I don't think Locked and Loaded could have been any better. It seemed to have everything.

POP OF THE NIGHT: It's really hard to pick anything other than A Shine to Your Soul for me. We finally see that person that's been menacing the (Now defunct) world champion is Calypso?! That's just a fantastic twist, and makes sense to why Six Feet Under's got a whole lot of beef with the Zeus crew. She's one of the only ones from before that's got the strength to challenge Zeus and has a crew to truly back it up with Tombstone and co. And that's not even mentioning the mid-match leave that we saw from him to deal with Zeus himself to get his boys back that had been taken. This month has been the build-up to this reveal and man does it pay off.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  • What will Tombstone do to save his crew of Six Feet Under?
  • What's got Jasper smiling after that showdown with Jackson?
  • So it sounds like Felix's dad tried to kill Felix, but he wouldn't die?
  • Why did Zeus order Grizzly St. Claire to smash both of them with a steel chair?
  • Not a particular question per say, but I really do like the Unnaturals!

HAVE YOUR SAY:

Candy Kane: That was an incredibly fun segment, to find that the Church of Zion has absolutely vacated, leaving only her and Gino. And while that was kinda clearly gonna be the feud going forward, I really did enjoy the game of cat and mouse between the two of them, the thread of another one to bring in Gino on Candy's part to the end, and I really enjoyed that!

Captain Arcadia: Well, looks like we're going to head into a round two with Hatchet to find out exactly who hired him, and I'm loving it. Seeing CA being such an aggressive punk matching up to Hatchet, with a clear and conscious choice to be there for that street fight was an absolute delight. Like the tracking made so much sense as to why he wasn't worried, and yet he marched in alone to take on Hatchet. Looking forward to seeing how this carries on!

POP OF THE NIGHT: (What was the moment, in segment, that you enjoyed the most and why?)

WHO TF IS CALYPSO AND WHY IS SHE AFTER NARCISSA!? What a reveal that last segment was! And to be honest, the entire main event and the segments scattered around it were all part of a bigger storyline, and all had a part to play. Tombstone leaving to save Hayes and Raven means he must need them specifically alive for SFU, enough to give up his World Title chance, and what does Narcissa do now. Also what does the world title being back in the Cade family tree mean?

BURNING QUESTIONS: (What questions does the show have you asking after reading?)

  • What is the "hard way" George Cade speaks of, and why did it require a meeting with Zeus himself?
  • Who took Raven, and why did they take him?
  • Will Cap Arcadia be the one to uncover why Hatchet was sent after TBM and DB and who by?
  • What exactly is Fernicus trying to say about Felix in his diary? He wouldn't just DIE!?
  • What else does Candy have on Gino?
  • So it looks like the question about Raven got answered!

HAVE YOUR SAY: (How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)

THE UNNATURALS ARE HERE BAYBAY! I knew my freaks wouldn't desert me really! Looking forward to seeing how this goes. We know that stables can be a huge part of the goings on in OSW, and I think this freaky bunch have the potential to put Arcadia on lock!

In that regard it was nice to use this arc as a bit of a springboard to show their unity, despite some moments of it not looking that way.

POP OF THE NIGHT: (What was the moment, in segment, that you enjoyed the most and why?)

A Shine to Your Soul

So much this month led to this single moment. Almost to the point where you knew what was going to happen.

But in Undertaker style fashion, that didn't stop the feeling when the gazump hit any less. The reveal was, in a word, perfect.

An amazing character concept, an outstanding reveal and I'm bloody excited to see where this goes!

BURNING QUESTIONS: (What questions does the show have you asking after reading?)

- What's Zeus planning with SFU and will Tombstone be able to save them all?

- On that note, does this make Tombstone the good guy when it comes to him compared to Zeus? I mean, all compared to Zeus are comparatively good... Dean's created a behemoth of the ultimate asshole here to make even Tombstone seem like he's powerless to stop him

- Felix has finally read the diary. He's had it in his possession but hadn't brought himself to open it till now. Now that he's read it, what next?

HAVE YOUR SAY: (How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)

SUNSHINE

I knew that somehow it was all going to go belly up for Sunshine, but I actually didn't see that coming. Love the concept of the Unnaturals, and I fell for every bit of the rope-a-dope hook line and sinker. Well played Klaus, well played.

Also, I've loved how Sunshine has come across. Especially Ruby's attitude towards him on commentary, great stuff.

EMM

Oh man, Zeus is a dick!

I'm so interested as to where this leaves EMM now, and Gemini. Their loyalty to each other is kinda cemented with those chair shots. But where does EMM sit with Hydra now

Muerte is definitely not going to be happy with Grizzly, that much is St Claire

POP OF THE NIGHT: (What was the moment, in segment, that you enjoyed the most and why?)

A Shine to your Soul

What a fitting end to the show, this mystery woman has a name and it’s Calypso!  She continues to make her presence felt and her target is Narcissa.  This whole story continues to build and I cannot wait to see where it all goes as well as seeing what more skeletons Narcissa may have in her closet.

BURNING QUESTIONS: (What questions does the show have you asking after reading?)

What’s the next entry in Fernicus’s Diary going to unearth?

What’s going to happen to Grizzly St. Claire after what he’s done?

Are Mark Hayes and Raven still among the living?

What will Tombstone do in response to Zeus threatening the numbers of Six Feet Under?

What will happen to Lionell when Candy and Gino find him?

What’s going to happen between CJ and Cade?  How will it affect George’s relationship with his sons?  Will he be forced to take a side?

HAVE YOUR SAY: (How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)

Harold: I have to ask, what is the “Or else” that’s coming until Harold gets his answers?  I really want to see this.  Harold is out for answers and I cannot wait to see what he does to get them.  He’s grown so much as a character since he debuted as what I thought was a throwaway character who was doomed to die on Deathrow that he’s now become one of my favorite characters in my 27 years of E-Fedding and it’s this writing and character development that’s help do that.

Nox: Was not on the show but I know there’s stuff in the works for him so I cannot see how much further down his sinister rabbit hole we can go.

POP OF THE NIGHT:

I'm going to avoid A Shine to Your Soul for reasons that will soon become clear later on in my feedback.

With that said, I'm going to give this to Hammer Time. I'm quite surprised to see the shoe appear on the other foot in terms of who appears dominant, with Tombstone being the recipient of bad news and Zeus having one up over him. I wondered where the hell Raven was being taken to after his match with Aurora, and my question was answered at the worst possible time for the Ferryman. This effectively removed him from the match and made it possible for Narcissa to attempt her comeback. Granted, it failed, but it was still a nice effort nonetheless. I'm excited to see the fallout of this and I have to wonder if either Hayes or Raven survived the attempts on their lives.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

What is preventing CJ and George from telling Harold where Michaela is and what happened to her? It's clear to us now that the Cades want to explain her fate, but are unable to. How will Attano react when it's eventually revealed to him where she is and what she does? What was George seeing Zeus about, anyway? He said he'd have to do something the hard way, but what was it? Win the title? A lot of questions came out of this segment in a short span of time and I'm curious to know where this story takes us next.

Why did Zeus send Grizzly St. Claire to attack Gemini? Is it because he still thinks she knows about what lies behind the door, or does he just want her dead because she was there the whole time? It's a strong showing from the Antagonist, and I hope we'll find out why this happened soon.

Why did Fernicus want Felix dead? What other side of him is being talked about here in the diary? Does it have anything to do with Scissors? I'm curious what the other entries might hold, but I don't quite know if we'll be getting those read to us anytime soon.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

I think it's time to let the cat out of the bag and reveal that I handle the mysterious woman that you guys have been seeing this past month. Calypso's official debut was awesome and sets a high bar for the character that I hope to meet and eventually surpass.

What happened to Beck, you ask? Well, given that I made him hating humanity before Tombstone came along and did it better (freaking gimmick stealer :P) and da boss didn't really feel the character, I decided to shelf them for this new chick we ended up making on the spot. Judging by the reactions so far, you guys really like the mystique around her. I hope everyone will still like her now that the mystery of who handles her is off the table.

TBM - Not a lot to say for Maxwell's sake. Dude didn't utter a word and mostly let his actions speak for him. I do wish he said something to either agitate Doom or to defend himself, but I'm still alright with how the seg turned out. The match was also quite fine, although I don't quite know how someone can duck out of a move that has them being held in place. That's the only real nitpick I have with it though. Other than that, I think the best team won and will continue to win for a while to come.

POP OF THE NIGHT:

A Shine To Your Soul

I've been excited to see who this mystery figure was all month and the big reveal didn't disappoint. When combined with the Zeus hammer segment, the impact could've been much much bigger had that not happened, if you think about it.

Zeus being one step ahead despite the mind games makes that situation very precarious I think and Six Feet Under may be a little over their heads in the war with Hydra. I will say that it's odd to think that after last weeks segment but if there's one thing the writer of this angle does well, it's make everyone look strong and powerful and even when someone is weakened, they don't look weak.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  • What’s going to happen to Grizzly St. Claire after what he’s done?
  • Are Mark Hayes and Raven still among the living?
  • What will Tombstone do in response to Zeus threatening the numbers of Six Feet Under?

HAVE YOUR SAY:

A unique brand of tag team storyline for Gravedigger this month but I love how he was handled overall. I'm sorry to let Sam down this week but a death in the family made my performance touch and go at the very best. I tried to do something to honor all the writers but it wasn't good enough. I'm very sorry about that.

I can't wait to see what's next for Gravedigger and Six Feet Under. Chain Reaction should be a unique event... unlike anything I've ever been in before, actually. I'm super excited.

POP OF THE NIGHT:

The debut of Calypso was wild. I wasn't sure if this would be a season-long build, or if she'd just debut straight out, and it looks like we're getting the straight out. Six Feet Under just got a lot stronger, and Narcissa has a war at hand that I'm not sure even Zeus can help her with.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

Zeus and Tombstone have a real issue forming up. Tombstone has power Zeus can't deal with (yet), but his cronies don't. Even after ROD, it can be easy to forget exactly what he had to do to become Baron. How will they escalate next?

What's Zeus's issue with El Mariachi Muerte?

What did George want with Zeus?

What's Candy Kane going to find at the end of the string, and what does Carelli know about it?

HAVE YOUR SAY:

Gemini - So EMM is now on the outs with Hydra as well? I hope we get to see the friendship between Muerte and Gem continue on throughout the season. And you have to wonder if Zeus is going to keep testing Gemini, over and over, to see what she remembers.

Thorpe - What's the hard way? I have to think C.J.'s going to have to show Harold what's become of his daughter, knowing that Harold won't like it one bit. I'm not seeing a happy ending there. But speaking of happy endings, I can't speak enough to how excited I am to be the World Champ. And to win over 3 supreme competitors makes it that much sweeter. Such an honor.
