BURNING QUESTIONS:

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

HAVE YOUR SAY:

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

1. Ezekiel Graves vs. Jackson Cade: Holy fuck that’s all I could say when Laner counted the one, two, three and it became official. Winning the OSW World Championship is easily the greatest thing I’ve ever done in e-fedding. I’ve had plenty of title wins before, but never the world title.

Words can’t even describe how happy this win made me—on so many different levels. From the praise from the roster to my character actually holding that championship… it’s surreal.

I’ve already gone back and re-read the match multiple times. It was everything I could’ve dreamed of for my first (maybe only) run as OSW World Champion. Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it.

2. Lambs to the Slaughter: What a match start to finish. Huge shout-out to the legend Laner this was a long one, but it flowed perfectly the entire way.

Everyone got their moment to shine. The Gravedigger and Tombstone eliminations were absolutely sick.

And man, how hilarious was Deanie Hungy? The commentary team had me dying talking about him. Such a fun, wild match.

3. BOMBSHELL: Sometimes after a wild night of matches, you wonder if the ending segment can still hit and damn, this one did.

I thought we were just getting a quick chat with Ares, but the introduction of Scissors was so sick. Laner reading in the Scissors voice showed pure commitment, and it was fire. Super hyped to see where this story goes.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

• What chaos will Scissors bring?

• Will Scissors and Hatchet swap sides?

• How will Graves’ attack on Nero play out after costing him the Lambs match?

• Will Eclipse invade on Graves?

• How hurt is Deanie Hungy?

• Why, George Cade, why?

• What will Phase Two bring?

FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

Martyrdom: It was my favorite because it felt real. Emotional, passionate, full of heart. It wasn’t just about winning a match it meant something. Beautifully done Dawson.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

What a wild ride leading up to this moment. I still can’t believe the roles, the storylines, and the matches I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of here. I’m super grateful and super spoiled.

I know people outside this hobby would laugh at how pumped I am—including my wife, who eye-rolled at how many times I yelled “I’M A WORLD CHAMPION!” around the house but it’s a feeling I can’t explain.

In all my years of fedding, I’ve never been this nervous for a match. I didn’t want to let Dawson down, didn’t want to let Dean down, didn’t want to let any of you down. You’ve all worked so hard to build this place. You deserved a great main event, and I just wanted to pull my weight.

Dawson you’re a real one, homie. Wishing me luck, congratulating me after it meant the world. You’re a true champion both in and out of character. I hope I can live up to the standard you’ve set.

Dean and Laner thank you both for helping me deliver something I’m genuinely proud of. Even when I hassled you during your own time, you never made me feel like a bother. I learned so much from you guys.

Also… that intro video? Absolute game-changer for the entire e-fed world. I’ve rewatched it so many times already it was insane how real it felt.

I know I ramble with this stuff, but I just want to say thank you.

From the voice chat after the show, to the energy in every event, this place is special. Win, lose, or draw, I love writing here and being part of OSW. Thank you all for making this dream a reality.

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

  1. SCISSORS - Ares said that Foley wasn't walking out of Pandemonium, and he was right in a sense. Foley did not. Scissors is back, and things just got really messed up. I can't wait to see what this means for the shakeup of the alliances that will inevitably follow. Where will he side in this war?

2. A DRAW?! - We thought that was a oncer, that it wouldn't happen again. But some amazing writing, a truly awesome match and whaddaya know... History repeats! Just a fantastic ending to a blimmen outstanding match.

3. DEANIE HUNGY - I love everything about Deanie. Fanboy. So to see him interacting with Sunshine, and Sunshine being the one to actually wedge his foot in the door and give Deanie something to hold his hat to in OSW that's cool. The little cameo from Deanie using Sunshine's theme and putting himself in Pandemonium was awesome too.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  • What happens with Scissors now? What about the new Sunshine Club? How much will this all shake up things?
  • What the hell is wrong with Tombstone?
  • Did Narcissa spill the beans to Night about who truly blew up the Red Light District?
  • Congrats to the new Champ - but what will happen to Graves following his interference in the Pandemonium match?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

La Pinata - El Dragon Caido

I really liked this. It felt like a real character defining promo, one that was really dripping with the kind of voice I want to hear from Caido. The metaphor was spot on and that go-home section was awesome - bring your bats, take your swings. Loved it!

This one felt like it was one loaded up, that it was in the works for a while, perhaps one that was sitting in the back of the mind during character creation, it slotted so nicely into Caido's persona.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

I was gutted to not catch most of the live stream live. Watching delayed was still cool, but there's nothing like the full immersion of an OSW live.

SUSNHINE

Love to see this. The Sunshine Club come to life.

I love the unmasked personas, and the fact that we were all thinking this group was the Zookeeper, when in actual fact, it's sunshine's crew. Something really, really cool could be brewing here!

EMM

I really like what's building here. The belts won, the saving of Drewitt, the alliances that seem to be all over the place. Muerte trying to make up for everything that he's done wrong, and now Drewitt faced with another choice - switch sides, go with Gemini and Muerte because he saved him or stick to his word and side with the Preservationists. The layers going on with the group formerly known as Apokalypsis are wonderful.

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

  1. The Sunshine Club: The reveal of the Sunshine Club members was a huge swerve — and one that had me popping hard. I loved how it misled us into thinking the masked figures were part of The Kingdom, only to flip the script and reveal the fact that they were actually Sunshine’s crew. If the animal masks weren't unsettling enough, Sunshine slowly naming each member as they removed their mask felt like pure nightmare fuel. There’s something deeply eerie about friendly-sounding names paired with such menacing presence — and this segment nailed that vibe perfectly IMO.
  2. Chains of Consequence: Wow — Tombstone killing Igor Mortis feels like it’s going to send shockwaves through everything. The Ferryman chasing down Gravedigger and Mortis seemed inevitable, but I did not expect Mortis to get cut down so fast. That reckless move without grasping the full fallout seems to have deeply shaken Tombstone. Was he more tethered to Mortis than he realised I wonder? This new development has me hooked and I need answers fast.
  3. Footprints in the Sand: This was easily the biggest holy shit moment of the night — and that’s saying something on a show packed full of them. I never saw this one coming NGL. George Cade, the man who fought tooth and nail to keep his boys on the same side, seemingly betraying his own son to side with his greatest enemy? Unreal. Absolutely gut-wrenching and shocking in equal measure.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  • Will Mortis' death weaken Tombstone indefinitely?
  • Who's truly pulling the strings behind the Watchers?
  • What exactly is Phase Two — and what implications will it have?
  • Could Foley’s alter-ego drive him to betray the Seekers?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

Piggy Pie/Hatchet: I’ll admit that I didn’t read any promos leading up to Pandemonium since I like to keep things wide open in my head. But after going back and checking out a few, Dawson’s Lambs promo stood out to me the most. That grotesque metaphor of the entrants scrapping over the prize like pigs fighting for slop was spot-on — especially through the lens of a character like Hatchett. Watching the chaos unfold, studying the pigs, then revealing himself as the butcher... Really damn good stuff.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

I’ll happily take a final four finish. I felt good about what I submitted this year, but I’ll admit I started second-guessing myself the longer the match went on — right up until I saw Nero’s image pop up at number 20. That’s when I figured I had a real shot. Finishing effectively third, taking into account the split win, was honestly more than I expected. As for how Nero got eliminated, I’d bet there are going to be some serious consequences for the new World Champion. I’ve been saying for weeks that Nero always seems to have Zeke’s number and that it felt inevitable the tide would turn eventually... I just wish it hadn’t happened in this match and that moment lmao.

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

  1. Bombshell. Lots to unpack here. Felix setting the bomb, the return to Scissors. It's all pretty boss. Is Hatchet okay? The whole segment was a fire end to the show.
  2. Lambs was a great match. Dean did an amazing job weaving all the stories together and providing payoffs, new questions, and epic moments.\
  3. The idea of Phase Two intrigues me. What was it? Why was Fernicus Foley involved? Is this something that happened leading up to Zeus' rebellion?

BURNING QUESTIONS:

What did Narcy tell Night? (I think we all may know)

What happened to Tombstone when he killed Igor Mortis?

How will Captain Arcadia deal with the Sunshine Club?

MY FAVORITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

Martyrdom. This was one of my favorite promos I can remember in some time. Every word of this oozed out the metaphor he was going for. For everything that Graves says, for the Jesus he worships, he's not doing a damn thing to emulate it. Jackson Cade is. Jackson Cade is the Jesus of this story, the martyr, the one who sacrifices everything for a better tomorrow. The religious symbolism was epic, and I can't say enough about how much I loved this.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

Hey Tag Titles! Look at us go, Hayden. Looks like Drewitt may be coming back into the fold with El Amore del Muerte. Grimskull is pissed, and I think he's going to make Drewitt wish for death by the end of it. Maybe we see a return of the Embrace of Pain here!

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

  1. The Lambs Match: Great chaos. Especially loved the elimination of tombstone and Gravedigger. And the front loading of Preservationists to give the seekers an uphill battle. And the finish of the match was super intense, wasn't expecting a Draw to end it but it kinda felt right.

2. Bombshell: The overhanging question of who set off the attack needed to have a big answer. And this was rather large. The character of Scissors reappearing and stabbing the co-winner in the chest. Made an immediate impact that was well worth the build.

3. Chains of Consequence: I really liked this one, I've kinda been hooked obviously on this feud and this turning point has some really big implications I'm excited to see.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  1. What was told to night?
  2. What does phase two entail?
  3. What does the introduction of Scissors mean for the civil war?
  4. Who will be on each side of the hounds of hades match?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

Piggy Pie: I think it was a really smart promo. It gave a really strong visual that absolutely made sense for the match and ended with some really strong lines. Overall it was visceral and really fitting with the character. I liked it.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

My first Lambs and it was a fun one. The chaos for this all was really enjoyable. Ayame was treated super strong despite being first out. Overall I do look forward for what's coming up. Especially this upcoming hounds of hades match.

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

  1. Lambs to the Slaughter – Honestly this is always one of the best matches of the year.  Dean always puts his heart and soul into it.  I am always honored to be part of the cut let alone have two characters make it.  The end was a shock and I know how much Dean doesn’t like draws but it was the perfect set up to…
  2. Bombshell – Seriously Felix blew up the Pantheon?! Has Foley been oscillating between Foley and Scissors off screen?  How did he manage it?  What’s next with Ring of Dreams?  With Hatchet and Felix along with Graves in the title picture should it be Ring of Nightmares this year.  Just what the hell was all of this, a great way to end the show and leave me waiting until next week!
  3. Graves wins the Championship! As a former champion I cannot tell what an honor it is to share that honor with the talented group of writers that held that championship before me and since me.  Jin, welcome to that club.  I cannot begin to say how impressed I have been with your work and how psyched I am to see you elevate yourself to this position. Enjoy the moment my man, you earned this.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

Every question I asked about Felix/Scissors?  Has he been switching between the two characters when no one was looking in some macabre and twisted version of D.I.D.?

For how long has George Cade been a mole?  What did he do with CJ’s body?!  Was he looking to get his golden child cloned, like Colt (the dog)?

What will the Night do when he finds out who actually blew up the Red Light district?  Will he abandon the Seekers for what Drewitt, Gemini, and EMM played a part in?

What happens now that Ezra ended Igor Mortis dead?  Did Tombstone become the custodian of the chains in that moment?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

Martyrdom – Loved the flashback and how Dawson built his promo around what happened last year around the same time.  Using that as fuel for Cade against the evil reverend.

The Watchman’s Failure – A wiseman once told me to take someone’s gimmick and find a way to hit them over the head with it.  I feel Jin did just that with this one, not only hitting Cade over the head with his gimmick but with his history.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

Harold: With a hard-fought loss to Savor and an appearance in LTTS showed Harold is still a threat to be dealt with.  I also love Harold being involved in our build to the OSW version of War Games.  I cannot wait to see where this all goes with this.

Nox: A bit sad to lose the Tag Belts at the top of the show.  I really enjoyed working with Mikey.  I loved the segment with Nox and Hatchet plus how it played into the end of the show was awesome as well.  Plus, having Nox also make the cut for LTTS was a fantastic thing to see, he and Harold getting to interact is always something I pop for.

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

1. Lambs to the Slaughter - As with many Pandemoniums, the Lambs match is usually the highlight of the night, but when there is Co-Winners, it's a shock moment all on it's own. Congrats to both winners.

2. Ezekiel Graves wins the World Championship - I couldn't be more happy for Jin in this moment. He's put in a lot of hard work since coming to OSW and deserves this moment just as much as anyone. Congrats buddy!

3. Scissors returns - I popped! I may have also pooped a little! Scissors is back and that's going to be a major problem for The Preservationists. Unless.......

BURNING QUESTIONS:
Why did George Cade turn on his son?
What would George be doing at the burial site of CJ?
What does Phase II entail exactly?
What happens now that Igor Morits is dead?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:
I actually really enjoyed Bricks in the Wall by EMM this week, personally. It was a nice metaphor that tied nicely into what Dean described Arcadia as in the early stages of our transition to.

HAVE YOUR SAY:
A decent showing for Redgrave in the Lambs match.. can't go wrong there. I love the reveal of George Cade turning on his beloved son, his golden boy.. but why? What has caused George to turn on Jackson and align with Jasper? None the less, the Jasper/George combo should be an interesting one.

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

  1. Lambs to the Slaughter gets this spot every year and it's for good reason. The match is the absolute highlight of the show and filled with great storyline interactions from start to finish. I especially enjoy seeing characters who don't usually interact get their moments as well. And, of course, major bias for it this year.
  2. Then was an especially fun segment for me as I'm just kind of drawn to flashback segments. I was going to place Klaus Way's Origin here but I think in the overarching scheme of things this has my attention more as far as flashbacks go. What was Fernicus doing for Cronus? Just what was Phase Two? Lots of questions, not a lot of answers.
  3. Bombshell was insane. Foley's the one who bombed the Pantheon and killed his own best friend. Scissors is back at the hands of Hatchet and now Hatchet has a pair of those scissors in his chest! Like, it was midseason finale worthy as an ending segment.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  • Why did George turn on Jackson?
  • What was Phase Two?
  • Why did Nox want Scissors back?
  • What happens now that Igor Mortis has been killed?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

I have to absolutely give it to The Watchman's Failure. I think that Jin wrote his best promo so far and if I'm gonna lose my title it might as well be to a 10/10. Excellent work bud.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

Jackson Cade: While I'm sad to lose the title I have to my consolation prize of returning to the Redgrave storyline is good enough. I'm left reeling wondering why George would side with his son's murderer, why he'd turn on Jackson. I'm hooked and excited to see the next chapter between these two.

Hatchet: I popped so hard in voice chat when I saw that I had made it to the end of Lambs with Hatchet. It's an honor to share the win with Mel this year. As for Hatchet's actual segments, I always knew this dirty bastard would look out for himself above all else. I'm wondering what kind of condition he's in after the stabbing that ended the show?

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

  1. Lambs to the Slaughter has to take that spot right? So much went on in that match, pushing forward and forward into a dozen different stories and yet interweaving everything together rather fantastically. The dual win, the eliminations, the betrayals and truths that came out of it, just defines what makes one of the best OSW Shows and the best moments of the evening, hands down.

2. That said, Bombshell takes the second spot because that's one hell of a reveal. That Hatchet was working with Ares to take down who they thought was just Felix, but it's clear that it was Scissors behind it all. I'm really hyped up for this reveal, as he's not got the mysterious past to tie him down anymore. The monster's free here in the halls of Arcadia, and I don't think anyone's going to love what comes next in character. Out of character, fantastic stuff.

3. Origins: Klaus Way really took a shine for me, seeing the backstory and the twist that came with it. So much had been led to lean into the idea that Klaus was the one that killed his family, but this showed that it might have been the Freaks themselves and he was innocent. Plus I'm a sucker for a real good backstory for a character suddenly emerging outwards.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  • What's going to be Scissors next move?
  • How will the Seekers survive despite the multiple betrayals revealed inside it?
  • Why did George Cade work with Jasper Redgrave?
  • What the hell happened at the death of Igor Mortis?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

Piggy Pie fuckin slapped, hands down. Absolutely adore it when Daws not only takes a bit, but runs and runs hard with it. And this one was just structured so well, I'm glad to see that it took him all the way there. Definitely one I'll be reading back when I feel stuck.

HAVE YOUR SAY: Cap buddy, you're just going through the wringer aren't ya? Not only did Sunshine stab you and Savor in the back again, but the folks you made a trust pact with in the largest match of the season thus far had everyone end up betraying ya didn't they? I absolutely adored that, and honored to have made it into the match as a whole. Ten outta ten, and I think we're going to run into some really interesting angles coming up in the future, assuming I survive this gauntlet.
