Most Conspiracy Theories begin with the question of "what if". Carl Yugen's life exists in the realm of "what if". For the deeper down the rabbit hole one goes, the more they see of what the rabbit hole actually is.
Yugen, known by the name Rune, is so far down that rabbit hole that he can society for what it is. And now, he's come to free you. He can see the world for what it is, and what they WANT you to think. His mission¦ to see through the Veil of ONISM to the truth that lies beyond. A cold, dark truth that they don't want you to know.
That you are a sheep. Farmed, just like all the rest of us. Held captive and plugged into an artificial reality (the veil as Rune refers to it). That we are a species of slaves, held captive from rebellion by being thrust into a world where everything you have come to know is a lie.
And the events that the world sees as tragedies, they are formed simply by people escaping or being torn from the Onism. Glitches that have disastrous impacts in our world, as people awaken in the beyond.
Rune's mission, to awaken those that are asleep. To give sight to those that have been blinded. To help the masses see that they have been bamboozled and to tear down the veil once and for all. The runes that adorn his skin in the form of tattoos, protect him from the lies fed to the world by the Onists. The lies cannot penetrate his skull while it is protected by his Runes.
