Thanksgiving Approaches

So for us here in the states, Thanksgiving is looming around the corner, so the thought of OSW, and everything that's happened over the last 5-6 years that you've all been here for.  So, I wanted to openly give my thanks to all of you.

  • Firstly and most recently, all of you beautiful fucking lunatics who shared my wedding with me.  Those who gifted to us, none of you've met me in person, and you helped make that day so fucking special, the lot of you just by showing up to a stream.
  • Secondly, you were all with me through the scariest month of my life.  That stroke shook me to my core, and it still shakes my confidence to this day as I still feel the effects on the right side of my body, but you guys have been here for it all.
  • You were here when I accepted the promotion at my current job.
  • You were all here when Danielle and I moved in together.
  • I need to give Dean his own bullet point on this list because he's dealt with my shit recently in such stride recently, and I can't thank him enough for creating a place where I got to meet every one of you.

So, I wanted to give thanks to all of you, let you know that you've all been on my mind recently, as the political climate in my country is about to drive me mad OSW helps keep me centered.  I love you all and you all deserve to know that.

I concur with you, especially about the keeping centered part.

It's been a tough, busy few months. Emotionally exhausting, but in all of this OSW has been a constant. It's the anticipation of seeing the show. Knowing that there will be some chat to get involved in on the Discord or even just someone saying hi and seeing how things are going. Shout-out to Damo, he's always good for that.

I'm grateful for the commitment people gave shown to this place. For the continued pushing the envelope of creativity and continued recreation of this world we've created.

I'm grateful to Laner and Dean for having all the talents to keep this place running, the visuals and graphics and videos and sultry live show reading voices.

OSW is older than my daughter, and she's getting scarily close to being a teenager. That says enough, it says it all.

We've been through it all together, and we'll go through much more together.

Thanksgiving isn’t something that usually resonates with me as a Brit, but your post has inspired me to pause, take stock, and reflect on all that I’m grateful for.

I’m thankful for having a stable job in an industry I love. For being fit and healthy. For my friends and family. For marrying the love of my life this year. For the future and the adventures ahead — moving home and taking the honeymoon we’ve yet to have, exploring new places, people, and cultures. For everything in my life.

And thank you OSW for your incredible longevity. I’ve just posted my penultimate promo of V3, and it’s amazing to think we’ll be entering our 12th year in 2026. I’m deeply thankful to be part of this journey, and eternally grateful for a fourth volume.

Thank you, Dean. Thank you all. And happy Thanksgiving to everyone celebrating later this month.
