TOP THREE MOMENTS:

(Three moments of the show that stood out to you and why.)

  1. Zeus is back, and poor Klaus is going to have to answer for what he's done. I love that Zeus still has a soft spot for Harry. The final lines really set up this last push to the end. Zeus rules Arcadia with Ares by his side. And it's time everyone remembered why.
  2. Jasper shocked Tombstone with whatever he told him. Combine this with winning the match, and taking Cade captive later on, and Jasper Redgrave just planted his flag back in the ground as the baddest man in OSW.
  3. I love Destructo's arc in this whole volume. This segment was the perfect darkest moment in the hero's journey, with him confronting the visage of his parents. He dropped the boy from his name, but it's time for the boy to truly die.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

Klaus crossed the line by slapping Michaela. How bad is Harry going to beat his ass going forward?

Mister Sunshine really loves fucking with people, doesn't he? How are Arcadia and Savor going to react to him being the Zookeeper?

MY FAVORITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

Doom gave me shivers man, it was so good. It felt like Stubbins just opening up Pete's soul and staring into it. He broke down the stakes of the fight, and made it feel like the biggest fight in the world. Frank is on such a roll right now.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

Gemini - Interesting. How did Narcy design for Gem to set the bomb? And how is she going to force Gem and Night to fight to the bitter end.

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

(Three moments of the show that stood out to you and why.)

  1. ... THE WEIGHT OF A WHISPER - Well there's quite a bit to unpack from the Tombstone/Redgrave saga we saw tonight. Firstly, Tombstone makes a hell of a point. How did Redgrave know how to trap Tombstone if he isn't Hades - honestly, that'd make so much sense. But, there's something in that sickened smile - I see a Mick Foley type smile in Redgrave there, with a whisper he stuns Tombstone to the core. So what the hell did he say?
  2. ... ZEUS BAYBAY - The moment I love the most here is Attano's reaction to Zeus. Zeus comes in and tells him the sky is falling, and Harold is like "No shit Sherlock..." Only Harold could be that guy and speak to Zeus like that. There's so much going on in this ending segment that I think will have MASSSSSSIIIVE repercussions leading into Red Snow.
  3. ... THE TRUTH COMES OUT - There's something really intriguing here. A line that almost gets lost at the end in the shuffling and the cage moving. Narcy DESIGNED for Night to be the one to kill Gemini. She DESIGNED for Gemini to set the bomb... But how? What's that supposed to mean?

BURNING QUESTIONS:

(What questions has the show left you with?)

  • What exactly did Narcissa do? How much influence did she have over the RLD?
  • What did Redgrave say to Tombstone?
  • Sunshine is the Zookeeper? What does that mean for him, for everything? Has he truly been messing with everyone this whole time? He got his own Sunshine club to beat him the hell up to throw everyone off the scent? Is there more underneath the surface of that reveal or is he just that messed up haha.
  • What was Michaela about to say when everything turned to shit?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

(Which promo was your favourite of the week?)

Oh, I loved so many of them...

HATE by Savor - I hated how much I loved that one, seeing as I was facing it.

NEW FACE OF FEAR - I think Redgrave did a great job of really using the setting and the storyline to his advantage in his monologue.

THE BALLAD OF JACKSON CADE - This one really set a scene well. The emotions were so evident in the writing, and the monologue flowed brilliantly from formation of thought, to expand and dissection, then hammered home nicely.

The one I'm going with though is BECOME THE DAWN by DOOM

He did such an amazing job of controlling that voice, leading to some really strong notes that just kept punching shot after shot... Pain doesn't spread, it multiplies... How Night's real origin hasn't started yet, that he can be the DAWN not the NIGHT. It really cut to the core of the character in a way that you could see them inside the cage, and you could see Doom really saying all of this right to Night's face.

Awesome stuff!

HAVE YOUR SAY:

(How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)

SUNSHINE - Oh, well I like this twist a lot. Sunshine is the Zookeeper! That's what's been hiding behind that smile the whole time. So, does this mean that he killed Boswick? The evolutions of Sunshine have been awesome to witness. Much love to the writers for all of the development he's been on over the last six months or so.

EMM - What the hell was that EMM did to Caido? Why now after all the shit he's been through? It doesn't seem as much a power that EMM still has as some kind of leverage over Caido. Something he hasn't really wanted to use but desperate times call for desperate measures. What is this legend he speaks of? What does it have to do with Caido and why does it have an instant effect on him?

TOP THREE MOMENTS

Narcissa/Gemini - Here we had a feud that’s been building for what feels like forever finally blow up. Narcissa’s words landed like bombs, and Gemini proved she’s still the same mess underneath she's always been - shining a light on just how chaotic things are for her now.

Mister Sunshine - Sunshine's bombshell was a moment. He’s suddenly not the lawless antihero we thought he might be, but a calculating, manipulating son of a bitch pulling strings and seemingly making Arcadia’s problems a hell of a lot worse.

Jasper Redgrave/Tombstone – Jasper whispering something to Tombstone that visibly rattled him amidst the disorder of everything else playing out makes the top three. Whatever Redgrave said could change everything we thought we knew about OSW - and I'm SO here for that.

BURNING QUESTIONS

  • What did Jasper say to Tombstone to shake him like that?

  • Where did Redgrave take Jackson Cade - and what is Ares’ role in all this?

  • What’s next for Gemini? She got one over on Narcissa - but at what cost?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK

Doom/Become the Dawn - and Hayden pretty much broke down exactly why.

HAVE YOUR SAY

Not a great night for my boy. Finding out Graves’ was behind the abduction of his wife and son, then seeing Zeke secure the win which keeps them tethered by virtue of the Tag Team titles? Talk about a hollow fucking victory.

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

1. Ejection nabs the top spot. Holy shit, Zeus came in at the nick of time and just about saved everyone from Klaus. Not only that, the man fucking had him taken from his circus and wheeled off to who knows where in retaliation. What sort of punishment awaits the Ringmaster after taking just about all the roster hostage? I imagine nothing good, but I'm kind of excited and afraid to find out just what the Baron has planned.

2. The Weight of a Whisper takes it here. Holy shit, whatever Jasper whispered to Tombstone managed to shock him into not killing the Artist. What was it that he said? If Jasper was allowed to live before he could be killed, it must be something big. Can't wait to find out what it could be in the coming months.

3. An Inconvenient Truth goes here. What a fucking twist. Sunshine was the Zookeeper the whole time? That was an interesting twist that I don't think anyone saw coming. Especially not after Boswick was revealed to be him not too long ago. It's also a tad confusing. Why would he order his own Kingdom to attack him when he was really the Zookeeper the whole time? Why have Sebastian pretend to be him if he was just going to kill him off anyway? I hope we get answers to that soon, and I hope Charlie gets exactly what he deserves at Red Snow.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

What is El Peso del Cráneo? What does it mean and why does it hold so much weight to Caido? What does it entail and why will Muerte regret forcing it on the Dragon?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

FUCKING HELL, FRANK, WHY ARE YOU SO GOOD!? 😛

Seriously though, that promo was fantastic. Beautifully deconstructed the Night's origin and twisted it to encourage him to become something better than the villain. Absolutely awesome piece that I stood no chance of beating with what I posted. This is why you're champion, man. Keep it up.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

Night: Peter definitely isn't the brightest bulb, is he? Kudos to him for trying to play hero and attempting to salvage his title match from being ruined by Klaus, but attempting to save him in the middle of a packed circus, where Klaus and his masked men could easily incapacitate him upon showing his face? Yeah, he deserves to get caught and placed in a cage for that. Also, I have to wonder what sort of lasting impact, if any, Doom's targeting of Night's leg is going to have. He focused on it quite a bit and it seemed to cause quite a bit of damage.

TOP THREE MOMENTS

1. Tag Team Title Match: What a perfectly written match it felt like so much more than just a match. The rift between both teams was incredibly well written, and visually you could picture every moment as it unfolded. I loved the “matches within a match” dynamic. I know it was my match, but honestly, it was a top moment to read truly impressive work.

2. The Weight of a Whisper: These two characters have been putting on a show week after week. The writing has been cinematic, layered, and full of tension. I’m super excited to see what’s next and seriously, what was whispered?! I’m so pumped to find out where this story goes.

3. Ejection: What a great ending to a great show! You can feel that something big is about to happen. The way Zeus showed up was absolutely badass and left the perfect cliffhanger with Klaus Way being dragged away.

BURNING QUESTIONS

• Why did Graves hide his sister and nephew?

• What are Zeus and Ares going to do with Klaus Way?

• What did Redgrave say to Tombstone?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK

The Devil You Unearthed: I liked it because it just feels honest, you know? Like every line actually means something. I felt anger but it felt controlled had some emotional parts without being soft. It had this build up that felt perfect and when it ends, it just hit very strongly

HAVE YOUR SAY:

Amazing writing all around. I know I’m biased, but that Tag Team Title Match was incredibly well done. I’m super pumped to see where this storyline goes next. Nero vs. Graves has been one hell of a rivalry… and an even better team, haha.

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

  1. zeus coming back and the impact that he had immediately was worthy of the top spot. im eager to see how intends to remind everyone of how he runs things.
  2. not to selfishly mention something my characters apart of, but sunshine actually being the zookeeper in the end is something. didn’t seem like that would be the case, but there we go.
  3. jasper once again cemented himself as one of the more polarizing characters in osw, cause what did he say to tombstone to have him frozen in shock out of all people? cant wait to find that out.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

what did jasper say to tombstone?

what is zeus gonna do with klaus?

what is el peso del craneo?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

i enjoyed the devil you unearthed pretty good. i always feel the emotion whether it be rage or whatever he wants the sentiment to be, when i read a destructo promo. nice one.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

i mean wow right? i cant lie i didnt really expect the zookeeper to end up being sunshine, especially after the pump fake i guess you can call it, that we had not too long ago with the whole sunshine club thing and then how they eventually turned on him. or so we thought now. but yea idk, unexpected turn of events. especially because i also didnt expect that info to be revealed here at this show as well. cant wait to see whats ahead from here tho.

TOP THREE MOMENTS

Birthright - I liked the exchange between Ares and Jackson here. Ares telling Cade plainly that he'll never be worthy of wearing the crown without first dealing with his past baggage is on par. This leading of course to that past coming to kidnap him. Great segment.

Ejection - Another great segment here that sees the return of The Baron himself! Klaus has some explaining to do it seems, or a big hole to dig himself out of somehow to say the least. What will come of that situation remains to be seen, but this segment built the hype for that moment off the bat.

The Weight of A Whisper - What could possibly shake Tombstone of all people so? Was it something about Hades? Was it something else entirely? Whatever it was that cause Tombstone such visible shock has to be huge, whatever it may be..

BURNING QUESTIONS:

What did Jasper say to Tombstone?

What will happen to Klaus now that Zeus has him?

Where did Redgrave take Jackson?

Why would Zeke hide his sister and nephew?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

Become The Dawn - Well, Frank's on a bit of a role, isn't he? And this week's promo was fantastic and solidified just why he's our Champ. Very well written.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

Well, seems Jasper's got a finger in a few pots here huh? Or are they all connected? Could what Jasper whispered to Tombstone have anything to do with why Redgrave would go after Jackson again? Speaking of that, did Ares just set Jackson up thinking he could overcome Redgrave once and for all, or die trying? Lots going on heading into Red Snow.. excited to see how it all unfolds.

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

  1. The opener, 'Carnevil' leans into a kind of cinematic spectacle. It set the tone and stakes instantly - this isn’t just a wrestling show but a twisted carnival event. It shows Klaus as the controller of not just the events of the night but the atmosphere.
  2. In 'The Truth Comes Out' Narcissa reveals to Gemini that she planted a fake tape to frame her, saying she “designed for it to happen” and that Gemini’s paranoia fueled the lie. This is pure narrative intrigue. It deepens the layers of deception, and I'm sure the story of how Narcissa came to "design" the act will be a fun one.
  3. In 'Ghosts' Destructo hallucinates his mother and father (well...Maxwell), then accuses them of abandoning him, shifting to blaming Nox as a poison in Arcadia. It offers a psychological glimpse inside the character and adds pathos - so much internal conflict and high stakes beyond wins and losses.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  • What exactly is Klaus Way’s agenda beyond spectacle? He presents the event, frames matches, manipulates environment but I'm not sure we ever unearth his ultimate goal with this event? Who, or what, is he serving, and for what purpose?

  • What does El eso del Craneo mean? I mean I looked up the literal meaning, because of course I did, but what does it mean in this context?
  • What did Jasper whisper to Tombstone, and why did it stop him? At the climax, Jasper murmurs something that shocks Tombstone into silence. What truth or revelation could wield that much power over a being that is already so powerful?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

I'll go with 'Become The Dawn' here. It had a strong thematic hook referring to origin and the 'first page in a book' and it also tied into his opponent really well. Telling The Night to become the dawn is a very fun way of approaching it.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

In “Carnevil,” Klaus Way is cast very clearly as a kind of Maestro of Chaos, bringing back the 'Wild Card' tag he temporarily took up a few months ago. Every time he appears, it’s theatrical.

I also really enjoyed how he served as a framing device in this show too. Everything revolved around him. His words and actions punctuated segments and matches.

I also liked how he didn't seem to pick sides (at least in this show). He applauds violence and drama, but he lets the other Titans do the dirty work. Despite everything in his storyline with Michaela, in this show his words were rarely “orders” and more like curation.

Finally I really enjoyed seeing Klaus as a 'catalyst' - someone who brings characters together in conflict, who incites revelations, and who gives the stage for greater stories to unfold

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

1. Ejection- Zeus is back and its time to show exactly why its him in charge. I wonder how much Klaus Way is going to pay for this. Making the Titans circus acts is not going to make the baron happy. Can't wait to see hwo this resolves!

2. Carnevil- I loved the intro here, a beautiful way to set the stage for the scenes that are about to play out and set the show up for the crowd. The perfect word for wrestling and the circus is spectacle and Klaus Way made sure to highlight that word as perfectly as he could.

3. Grande Reveal- this was high drama mixed with mystery in a way I love. Between the drama of who should protect the woman, husband who abandoned her or brother whos been there then what El Dragon Caido must become, what did he mean by you'll regret this?

BURNING QUESTIONS:

What does El Peso De Craneo mean to Caido? Is it going full Muerte and wearing the weight of murder?

Will Destructo end up killing Nox?

What will Zeus do to Klaus?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

Its got to go to Doom, Frank crushed it this week and proves why he's chanp. It was killer writing. I've tried to use the dawn as a way to write againt Night but Frank did the way that great theme deserves.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

Narcissa might have lost the match but she won the day with words. She led Gemini to proving her own guilt while illustrating how she made Gemini do it. Theres more to this story for sure and I can't wait to see more answers about all of this.
