POP OF THE NIGHT: Curious takes it for me, as one of the biggest predecessor feuds was the Tombstone and Felix Foley and it seems we're seeing Six Feet Under still being around in the world of the Best Friends here it seems. While it was fantastic to see that defense and fending off of the group, my mind drifts to the singular photo taken and what that means in the future for these four.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
- What drove EMM to save Gemini? Was it a sense of camaraderie, regret, or something more that we haven't seen yet?
- Something about cashing the chip with Mr. Cade has me curious about what that meant between him and Zeus. What history do they have?
- What's Klaus going to do after this disturbance from Mr. Smiley
- Who's the lady in the mirror with Narcissa?
HAVE YOUR SAY:
Candy Kane: Picking Up the Trail was a fantastic start to the new set of feud, delving into the history and information of Candy Kane and her lead into the darker side of Lionel Troy and Gino's dealings. The tone of her speaking and the whole angle is wonderful and being done on point. Excellent work for the segment writers!
Captain Arcadia: Well the cat's outta the bag, I'm moving Yellow Python to Captain Arcadia! With the story beats we had it felt this way, and it was fantastic to see him come to the rescue of Destructo Boy and Blaze from Hatchet, and start pursuing him down the way. What a great entrance, and I'm really excited to keep that momentum moving forward!
POP OF THE NIGHT:
I think I have to give this to...
Like Old Times. Not to bandwagon the segment, of course. I think the intricacies of Zeus and Narcissa's relationship going forward are very interesting to look at. Zeus has to actively make decisions against Hera's wishes and we can see just how these two might've fallen apart before now. One has to wonder if there's seeds being planted or if this is simply a rough start to Narcissa's reign.
The ending of the segment as well was perfect. I'm always one to pop for a graphic in a segment, and this one adds a ton of intrigue for me! I'm nothing if not curious as to who that woman is in the mirror, and just what she's doing tormenting Narcissa.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
- What did George do to have Zeus in his debt?
- Who was the woman in the mirror?
- Will anyone else join Hydra? If so, who?
- What was in the photo Malakai pocketed?
HAVE YOUR SAY:
Jackson Cade: God damn, Cade got his position and the first thing that happens is Redgrave tries to reopen that damn gallery! I'm excited for this. It's been a while since these two had a one on one feud and I have to wonder how Cade's new position of power might effect them going forward. I thought the segment was excellent.
Hatchet: Captain Fuckin' Arcadia. I was wondering if Blaze would actually get killed off, and I'm happy to say I didn't kill Damo's character. I'm also hype to feud with the Captain here! The new direction for Python is awesome, and I think Hatchet having to take on a plucky new hero is going to be good fun. For Hatchet, anyway. Not so sure about Cap.
POP OF THE NIGHT:
I'm going to give it to the opening segment, Hatchet looked like he was going to take care of Destructo Boy for good but we get this epic hero entrance from the former Yellow Python known as Captain Arcadia. It's cool to see this fun debut and I'm wondering where this feud will go from here.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
Can Hydra trust Gemini?
What does George Cade have on Zeus?
Will Redgrave reopen the gallery?

What a big week for Narcissa, first of all, the formation of Hydra, one week in and this group already has half the titles after Muerte won his match. Definitely intrigued to see how long this group will last especially after the lovers spat featured in the last segment. Also, who the fuck is that in the mirror? I have my theories but I can't wait to see what happens. A lot happened here and I'm excited about all of it.
