Quote from Harold Attano on 19 July 2024, 01:38POP OF THE NIGHT: (What was the moment, in segment, that you enjoyed the most and why?)
ONE...
The build up to this with the countdown of segments building to it throughout the night and then when they broke the door. First, some observations, it feels like Jasper has hit the big “reset” button in the gallery. Everything cleaned waiting, expectant, looking to start fresh, anew. Then, the trap being sprung and going from the images of white, and bleached clean wall to darkness with chaos. I am wondering a few things here that will be in my burning questions but this was wonderfully the imagery and the way the show ended, no static, just darkness gave me goosebumps.
BURNING QUESTIONS: (What questions does the show have you asking after reading?)
- Was this Jasper’s intention all along, thus all the cleaning, a grand opening with more death and destruction at one time than he’s ever laid out before?
- Did Jackson just get the Eagle Unit summarily executed? If so, how does he come back from this?
- Will Gemini remember and what happens if she doesn’t want to keep quiet?
- Will Doom be able to achieve order?
HAVE YOUR SAY: (How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)
Harold: Well shit, if the Cade family didn’t come off as a bunch of shitheads. Harold just wants to know how George knew Michaela was still alive, CJ taunts him for it so Harold shuts him up, and Jackson arrests him for it. This whole segment made me say, “Fuck those assholes”. Seriously though, I loved how Harold didn’t take an ounce of shit here. George got CJ added to the World Title match last week as a favor. Then when Harold shows up hat in hand asking for George to return a favor Harold did for him, he doesn’t want to reciprocate. Seems like George is used to getting his favors paid back but not the other way around, that may lead to trouble.
Nox: No real character development but a victory for Nox still showing he’s a force to be reckoned with.

I usually try to not pick segments my characters are in, but it's hard to look past this set of segments. Though it was a set of slow burn segments through the night, you could feel the emotions of Cade through the writing. You can feel the need for him to eliminate his biggest nemesis, and to do it soon now that his sheriff. His hastiness was met by what seems to have been a trap. The writing here was so well done, and the absence of a stop symbol to end the night speaks volumes for what may have happened.BURNING QUESTIONS:
- What has caused Gemini's amnesia?
- Who or what is it that's seemingly haunting Narcy?
- What's happened to Cade?
HAVE YOUR SAY:
Looks like the hot headedness of Jackson Cade has prevailed once again and this time.. might have cost him much more than he wanted to lose? I loved the segment this week. I get the feeling of old Jasper Redgrave from that, and that's what I love. I loved the build up through the night and the huge cliffhanger that we have been left on. What exactly happened when those lights shut out? It seems like Cade could have just led his entire unit into their demise as his first action as sheriff..

I'm loving The Burned Man becoming himself again. He's breaking away from the bonds he's had in the past from the Pool Boys now to Six Feet Under. He's arguably been my favorite character of Arcadia and I'm really happy to see him going back to the character I fell in love with. He obviously has some people to answer to but man am I rooting for him with all of this.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
What does Tombstone have planned for TBM?
What happened in the dark at the end of the show and who screamed?
What kind of performance does Raven have planned?
HAVE YOUR SAY:
Well all the questions and not many answers for Narcy this week. It feels like Tombstone is doing this to get to her but it also feels like a red herring, whos the woman with white makeup that seems to be the person Narcy should be truly scared of? This feels like Undertaker at his most magical and truly terrifying. I'm liking it a lot but I'm definitely just watching this play out because I have no idea where it leads.

Gonna give this to Tell Me. I wondered how Attano would react to the news that his daughter was still alive after George told CJ such. Clearly, he didn't take it well. Nor did he take the Cades being rather secretive about things well either. Not that I can blame him, if they know something about someone I love still being alive and they weren't telling me, I'd get confrontational too. Sucks that he got arrested for laying his hands on CJ. I mean, I get it, but keeping him for a week to "cool off" sounds needlessly excessive and sounds like the beginnings of a heel turn for Jackson and the rest of the Cades. Personally hope not after the big feel good moment at Ring of Dreams, but I'll wait to see what happens before I cast judgement.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
What happened at Jasper's gallery when everything went dark? Shots were fired and people screamed, but that's about the extent of what we know. Was anyone killed in the crossfire? Who were the people that screamed at the sound of guns? I'm on the edge of my seat wondering just what happened at the end!
Why was Captain Arcadia laughing after getting jumped by the Juggalos? Maybe there was something in the shield like someone suggested earlier? Maybe he's a complete lunatic who just laughs in the face of defeat? Who knows with this newly reformed Python?
The question still remains about who this mysterious dark skinned woman with white paint is. Is she the one causing all these hallucinations? Or is Tombstone responsible for fucking with her mind in order to get his shot at the belt? This is all quite a mindfuck and I hope we get answers about it soon.
HAVE YOUR SAY:
The first segment was quite nice, I thought. We learned that DB injected Blaze with some of the pool water from Lucky Break, which was made official here. I liked how confrontational DOOM was about James using some of the Odyssey Pool. It helped Maxwell decide that he was no longer a part of the Pool Boys, I feel. I also liked how he went to choke out TBM a moment later, only for Felix to step in and prevent him from killing again. Thought that was a nice touch after the Victor Doom storyline that happened just last season too. That was a nice read, even if Frank thinks the dialogue was a bit wooden.
That said, I felt a little dissatisfied with the way TBM was portrayed in the second segment though. Not because of the kidnapping, I fully expected that with a large number of people in one room but more because of how he and his son just waltzed in like a couple of idiots and expected a meeting with Malakai, Gravedigger, and his Midnight Owls would go better than the way it did. I get that he wanted to be honorable, but have him be more cautious of the guys he was once aligned with and how he's announcing that he's no longer a member of SFU. It was a mixed bag overall for TBM this week, but I'm still interested in seeing where we go from here.

Quote from Jackson Cade on 19 July 2024, 05:30POP OF THE NIGHT:
Time to be a homer here for my character's segments but like, how can you IGNORE Three... Two... One...? These were an excellent addition to the show that really built up anticipation perfectly towards the ending we got there. It did everything you want a good multi-part segment to do. From the build up to the tension to the massive cliffhanger that has you coming back next week! I'll go on a bit more below, but this was a hell of a series of segments.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
- What happened in the Gallery?
- Who's Haunting Narcissa?
- What caused Gemini's amnesia?
- Where is Michaela Attano?
HAVE YOUR SAY:
Jackson Cade: Cade was literally all over this show and I loved every second of it. I really felt like the segments perfectly mimicked the feeling of those Thriller style cop movies. I also loved seeing Cade exercise his authority by arresting Harold. I just have to wonder if he'll keep abusing his power.
Hatchet: Hatchy himself didn't show up in a segment, but I love how his followers talked to Cap. I just have to wonder what's happening with Cap's shield here. His signature weapon got snatched up and he laughs it off? I have to wonder what's up his sleeve.
