Quote from El Mariachi Muerte on 22 July 2024, 08:48POP OF THE NIGHT: (What was the moment, in segment, that you enjoyed the most and why?) CREATURES OF THE NIGHT
I mean, come on. We had the unbridled power of Tombstone, the super creepy setting. The random summons and the difference in how all three approached the fact that they were there. Then we had Six Feet Under freaking being bolted into existence from flashes of lightning. That's badass as hell!
To cap all of that off, we have CJ Thorpe fighting valiantly but the numbers game took him down, and we had the creepy faced woman make a lasting appearance. Hell, that was some straight out of a horror film stuff right there.
HONOURABLE MENTION: I thought I'd choose a second, because the above is an obvious choice.
THE INTERVIEW ROOM
This really leads into the biggest burning question of the night... What the hell is going on with Attano's daughter? George Cade really told him to forget her and move on? Come on, as if he's going to do that. This brings a hell of a lot of heat to the Attano/Thorpe match, but also casts a wedge between old friends in George Cade and Attano - a massive segment!
BURNING QUESTIONS: (What questions does the show have you asking after reading?)
- Why would George Cade tell Attano to just forget his daughter and move on? What is she wrapped up in? Is he trying to protect Attano?
- What is Captain Arcadia willing to do in order to get his shield back?
- Is Ajax going to be the one to bring the freaks back into line, or will he be the only one left standing when they all leave Klaus?
- What exactly does Zeus want to do with St Claire? What is his back door plan here?
HAVE YOUR SAY: (How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)
EMM - This was a segment that we needed, to se things in motion for Locked and Loaded. It didn't go overboard, or really give us a heck of a lot more than what we were already suspecting with the storyline - Gemini and EMM had to face each other in the end, but it didn't need to. The storyline, the tension, it's already there. What it did do was give a bit more insight into EMM's mentality heading into the match, the fact that he's got the loyalty to Gemini is great. I do like the fact that Zeus is putting another plan in place with Grizzly St Claire to ensure that whatever he wants happens, that's so Zeus. Bring on the PPV, I'm looking forward to it.
SUNSHINE - I've really enjoyed this storyline. It has really focused more on the freaks of Klaus's circus more than Way and Sunshine, but I actually love that about it. There's something bigger going on here that's more than just a fight between two guys. Sunshine doesn't really understand the impact of his presence on the circus, but him just being himself has sewn dissention in the ranks. I love that this is about whether they're going to revolt or tow the line. Can't wait to see how this shakes up.

Quote from Tombstone on 22 July 2024, 10:14POP OF THE NIGHT: (What was the moment, in segment, that you enjoyed the most and why?)
I'm a bit of a homer here and likewise have to give this to creatures of the night. I think this might be the most impressive segment featuring Tombstone yet, if not Six Feet Under at the very least. It was eerie, scary and full of tonal horror and danger. Narcissa lurking in the bushes as her plan came to fruition is one thing but to be scared by the woman at the end just added that extra zing to proceedings.
BURNING QUESTIONS: (What questions does the show have you asking after reading?)
- Who is the woman and what's her connection to Tombstone?
- What's Captain Arcadia playing at?
HAVE YOUR SAY: (How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)
I love the mind games being played by Tombstone to inevitably work his way into the world title match. We all knew he'd make it there but the way it happened was unique. I don't think that's ever really been done with the character and I love this eerie mind games vibe he has going on, as well as the sheer force and power displayed in the close.
The change from face to heel has been flawless through the writers so far for Tombstone and adding new mental aspects to his attack is really important, I feel. Showing him to be intelligent, as well as manipulative and devious is important for a multilayered character and that's what we've got between the epic Foley storyline and this.
I can't wait to get back to Foley... I bet it won't be long.

Quote from Eclipse on 23 July 2024, 14:13POP OF THE NIGHT:
Creatures Of The Night, as has been mentioned above. The supernatural angle has been furthered beyond just the hallucinations Narcissa was having, with the lightning summons, SFU have shownn up and acted as a united front even though some have other things going on... And this was all a plan from Narcissa and Zeus. I was thinking 'surely Tombstone knows they're around and behind this, after a little while I even started to doubt it, then he confirmed he knew and all was right with the world again, and she paid a mental price for it. Still very intrigued by who the lady is and her role in SFU, and lord help anyone who gets in SFU's way.
BURNING QUESTIONS: (What questions does the show have you asking after reading?)
- Who is that damned lady?
- Will the freaks walk free, and will Ajax become an enforcer for Way on OSW shows?
- What is being asked of Grizzly regarding the Gemini/Muerte match? Is it mere interference, or a more permanent solution to Hydra's Gemini problem?
- Why did Blaze burn down Doom's factory?
HAVE YOUR SAY: (How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)
I gotta say, I'm enjoying Aurora being dumb as shit and naive in her dealings with people. I imagined her being more street-smart, but there's plenty of savvy faces in OSW already, it feels more entertaining this way. I'll see how things go in upcoming shows, but it is making me wonder if I should go a bit more white-meat babyface in my promos to match what happens in segments.

Quote from Felix Foley on 23 July 2024, 15:45POP OF THE NIGHT:
Creatures of the Night is a real attitude era style segment that closed the show a way a go home show should close. It set up the Main Event by getting all the players in the same place for the first time with a connection and put the cat among the pigeons when it comes to the world title. Six Feet Under also proved to be a fierce supernatural stable that will likely send shivers down all our spines from here on out.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
- Who is the woman?
- What did Zeus want with Grizzly?
- Why is George so secretive?
HAVE YOUR SAY:
The revelation that The Burned Man burned down the factory is one I didn't see coming. I thought perhaps this would be forgotten about as a plot point not to be picked up on and was surprised by the eventual outcome.
This definitely changes the dynamic of things now and I think Foley trying to be peacemaker has to end if they wanna retain their tag team titles.

Quote from Deleted user on 24 July 2024, 02:17POP OF THE NIGHT: (What was the moment, in segment, that you enjoyed the most and why?) I enjoyed a few matches/segments on this show to be honest. These are in no particular order.
- Aurora winning.
- Six Feet Under vs. The Cade Brothers was a very good read.
- All of Narcissa. Very in depth character from what I see.
- Creatures of the Night segment was a fantastic ending to a solid card.
BURNING QUESTIONS: (What questions does the show have you asking after reading?)
- Does the Six Feet Under story arc continue after Locked and Loaded? Will the dominate everyone?
- Will Captain Arcadia be able to get his shield back from Hatchet?
- Will Aurora use that big win as motivation to continue upward?
HAVE YOUR SAY: (How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)
I'm new to the saloon, so I can't really answer this in much detail. Loved my match and how Grizzly was handled in ring. The involvement with Zeus so quickly was a shocker to me. Smiles were had. As the weeks/events pass, I will have more information to share here as my storyline is just starting. Everything was just fine.

Quote from DOOM on 24 July 2024, 10:28POP OF THE NIGHT:
There's nothing better than the terror of a supernatural entity running rampant over everyone and everything to setup a superb main event of a pay per view, is there? Tombstone was at his very best here and has been all season so far, when you think about it. His dominated against The Burned Man after he was betrayed and this week, his stable is dominant against all his opposition. I very much enjoyed this segment.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
- Who is the woman?
- What did Zeus want with Grizzly?
- Why is George so secretive?
- Will Harold find out what happened to his daughter?
- What will Zeus do to combat SFU?
HAVE YOUR SAY:
A big big moment in the story arc of the Pool Boys here and I just don't seem Doom forgiving this. He almost killed both Foley and Doom and there's no way he walks away from that without his pound of flesh. There's a lot of bad blood between these two now and Doom/Burned Man has to be a major plot point this season I think.
Foley can only stop Doom so much and after this betrayal, I'm not even sure Felix will hold him back from getting the vengeance he desires. Happy with how this turned out!

Quote from Klaus Way on 25 July 2024, 12:04POP OF THE NIGHT: (What was the moment, in segment, that you enjoyed the most and why?)
Has to be that final segment. Tombstone is just toying with everyone. Kind of like with Captain Marvel in the MCU, who has seemingly endless power, you have to wonder just how Tombstone can ever be truly topped - he seems to have control over everything and a power as yet unmatched by anyone in Arcadia. The way he just plays with World Champions like they're ants is really something to behold. But I am sure his downfall must be coming, and I look forward to it, big time!
BURNING QUESTIONS: (What questions does the show have you asking after reading?)
- CJ is in biiiiig trouble. Not a question, just a statement of fact 😀
- Gino and Troy - what's going to happen there? I don't see this ending well for the Reverand. He's upset some BIG names in his time here, but a mafia boss with an itchy trigger finger isn't one you want on that list!
- We love a good mystery photo. I wonder what dirt SFU have on Doom? He's not exactly the most squeaky clean of characters so I'm sure there's plenty to hold against him.
- I'm cheating again because this isn't a question, but Matt Ruby's "I don't know BB, I've forgotten many women over the years. It's not as hard as it seems" might be the line of the night, and also the most tone deaf.
- What the hell happened to Michaela? Is she someone we know now, going by a different name? Has she died in the years since? Did Harold do something that caused her to disappear? So many possibilities.
- Scratch the question about the photo. I got to 'Out'. Blaze set the fire!
- What is Grizzly being asked to do by Zeus?
- Just who the hell is this woman!?
HAVE YOUR SAY: (How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)
NOOOOO NOT A FREAK SHOW REVOLUTION. Klaus can't lose the few acts he's got already!? How on earth will he put on his shows!? Surely just an hour of Ajax lifting heavy things isn't going to sell!?
Speaking of, Ajax is the real one, sticking with Klaus (seemingly). And all this because Mr Sunshine tried to be nice and 'accidentally' planted the seed in their head of their own freedom. Is Mr Sunshine as nice as he makes out to be, or is he a master manipulator behind those pearly white teeth?

Creatures of the night was my fav segment of the show. I just love how every character seems to get their shine and all under the tutelage of an amazing character in Tombstone as well. This stable could be one of the biggest in osw history and i'm proud to be involved with that.
A shoutout to stop this as well, cause that had some cool vibes and made sense to put tombstone in the title picture too.

Creatures of the night was a great segment for Malakai that continued to build on his alliance with Six Feet Under and put him over as a badass in the angle. I love being a part of this group and teaming with Gravedigger as well, who despite a personal emergency this week has been a great person to talk to over the characters and the angle.

Quote from CJ Thorpe on 25 July 2024, 22:41POP OF THE NIGHT: Out. So Blaze/TBM was the one who set the fire in the Doom Factory. I love how this story has weaved all three teams together, making Malakai and Gravedigger not so much on the outs of a family squabble. This is a fun story, and I love seeing the tag team straps get some love.

Who's our mystery woman?
Are Zeus and Hydra gonna go to war with Six Feet Under?
Will that fucker Hatchet get his from Captain Arcadia?

Thorpe - Man, what the hell is going on with Attano's daughter? What is so bad that they won't tell him? Fun seg at the end with SFU demolishing Thorpe and Attano and then calling out Narcissa.
Gemini - Will Gem pass Zeus's test? What is the test? Are any of her memories bouncing around in there. And what the hell does he want Grizzly to do.
