POP OF THE NIGHT: (What was the moment, in segment, that you enjoyed the most and why?)

BURNING QUESTIONS: (What questions does the show have you asking after reading?)

HAVE YOUR SAY: (How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)

POP OF THE NIGHT:

Gravedigger winning. I can't get over how excited I am for Charlie to be in this spot because I know first hand how hard he's worked at this since Master Ken. It didn't work for him then and he's turned it around. To beat Laner and Dawson on the same night in one match is a feat reserved for very few people in OSW and Charlie just did it. I popped hugely when I read the show for him and Gravedigger.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  • What will Gravedigger do in revenge?
  • Will George Cade survive?
  • Will Attano make it back to wrestling, or find out what George had to do with his daughter?
  • Is Redgrave behind the Aurora video?

HAVE YOUR SAY:

Another terrifically fluid event in the books for OSW. I really appreciated the reasoning for why The House of Judgement was formed. I thought it needed to be good and make sense or teaming Zeus and Tombstone after the kidnapping of Narcissa would've been slightly farcical. As usual, I wasn't let down by the way it was explained and enjoyed Narcissa almost being the one to usher it into the next level.

I thought the organization of the segments with The Foley's and then the Tombstone/Mrs Foley segment were a little confusing at first. I thought that perhaps I'd missed something at Chain Reaction. It did throw me through a small loop. When I quickly caught up, I was a little more confused actually. It didn't make sense for me. Tombstone wants Foley to learn the truth but then prompts Mrs. Foley to keep it to herself? That seems a bit... I dunno.. does he want her to keep it secret so it hurts him more when it comes out? Why delay that? It seems like he wants to hurt him and hurt him badly, so let's do it.

I'm intrigued.

Also, the entrance video was cool as fuck.

POP OF THE NIGHT: So I think this one's going to be a bit of an odd shout out, but fuck man Unleashing just hit the damn spot. I won't lie that I'm a massive mark for DOOM, and to see him go full villain with a whole ass monologue over his obssesion of the Burned Man? Just fuckin hyped me up for this feud coming up.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  • Is Attano ever going to be able to get back into the ring again?
  • Will The Burned Man survive the drone swarm sic'ed on him by DOOM?
  • How will the gas that Nox is making affect Mr. Sunshine? Will these two rival Foley and DOOM in their new friendship?
  • Will Destructo Boy survive the onslaught of The Gathering and what they have in store?
  • What secret does Mama Foley know, but been keepingfrom her son?

HAVE YOUR SAY: Captain Arcadia strikes again! Absolutely love that he snuck in, made sure that the missing kid was in fact the missing kid and saved him when the rest of the circus would've let him drop. You'd think at this point though CA would've learned not to just immediately get stuck into a circle of folks that mean him harm and get pounded on. Still, acting like a total hero and I'm so for that.

POP OF THE NIGHT:

BRONCO BLACKWOOD: What’s happened to Momma Foley!?

MATT RUBY: Looks like she realized who her son is, BB.

That line killed me,I’m not sure why, but I found it hilarious.

The "I'm Sorry..." segment was my favourite this week. I felt it was perfectly written, very descriptive.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

What does Reverend Ezekiel Graves have in store next week when he pays Chef Andre's restaurant a visit, especially with the handler no longer around?

Who, if anyone, will be the first to put that monster Tombstone down?

What exactly did Momma Foley say to Felix? Was it "Tombstone"?

HAVE YOUR SAY:

As a writer, it can be hard to loosen the reins when it comes to having no say in results and promos. To me, it's difficult for someone else to nail the dialogue if they’re not as fully invested in the character as I am. But here, I feel so comfortable with the results team writing for Ezekiel Graves. It’s only week two, and I already love how Graves has been treated and given the respect of being well written in the results. I hope that makes sense.

To the handler that plays Josh Conway, I love how our characters' values and morals gelled perfectly for that well written match.

As for improvements, I don’t see any needed. I feel like the staff here really gets my character, and it’s up to me to continue giving my best. I’m really enjoying it here, and I know I need to keep giving my best, especially since I feel like I’ve been super spoiled since joining.

POP OF THE NIGHT: (What was the moment, in segment, that you enjoyed the most and why?)

GRAVEDIGGER'S MOMENT - I think this night really revolved around the fallout from Chain Reaction. It led to that main event. These three had to achieve so much to even get to that match, but to stand tall over both Gemini and Hatchet to get to the top of that mountain and claim that #1 contendership, that's massive! What a moment for the man!

In terms of a moment from a segment, I'm going with ...I KNOW

The timeline of this one was interesting, having the aftermath revealed then the backstory. This segment had a massive gulp in it, that moment where she pleads with Tombstone, and he gets really close to her to basically whisper the reality to her. I love that description of Tombstone, it stands out - his breath as cold as the grave. So much juicy character work going on here.

BURNING QUESTIONS: (What questions does the show have you asking after reading?)

  • If not Redgrave then who? I actually believe Redgrave here, his logic actually tracks. Feels weird agreeing with him, but that doesn't exactly make him a good guy. He just didn't creep on Aurora. The question is, does Aurora believe him?
  • Is Attano actually going to listen to the doctors? If not, will we have another Brett Kersh moment on our hands?

HAVE YOUR SAY: (How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)

SUNSHINE - Oh, I like this haha. Characterwise, it's perfect and it has this impending dread feeling of "oh, what are you getting yourself into?" I feel like this could be the kind of storyline that really adds some depth characrterwise for Sunshine, and I'm all for that! Good stuff writer, I'm excited about this one.

EMM - Nothing this week.

POP OF THE NIGHT:

The Building Of A House. It cleared up a few misconceptions I had (like I thought Zeus and Tombstone were in cahoots all along to root out disloyalty), and gave a compelling reason why this unholy alliance came about. It was also surprisingly civil given the people involved, which I feel is a great reflection of bad people whose interests align. With that said, I can't help but think... Is Tombstone thinking clearly or letting fear get the better of him? Would some people remain in Arcadia even if the truth was revealed, preserving his purpose?

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  • What are the terrible secrets of Fernicus's diary?
  • Were the red lights drones sent by DOOM?
  • Will Captain Arcadia be okay? Also, did the child run away to join the circus or was he kidnapped by Klaus? If the latter, fuck that guy!
  • Am I gonna have to beat up Nox for hurting poor, sweet Mr. Sunshine?

HAVE YOUR SAY:

Welp, Aurora just fucked up. By (seemingly) falsely accusing Jasper, there are now 2 psychos whose attention is firmly on her. Despite it deviating from the Lucky Break answers I have (which I feel is more of a problem of me completely missing the point of the questions and missing the cue to play along), it feels very in keeping with how someone might respond to a stalker situation. Paranoia, anger, looking for someone to attribute it all to to try and lower how threatened they feel... And Jasper is both a creep AND someone Aurora has no doubt pissed off. Looking forward to seeing what Jasper has in store, albeit with a side dish of dread!

POP OF THE NIGHT:

I'd be lying if I said it wasn't my victory in the Main Event...

But that's to be expected, right?

So..... I really liked how Jackson Cade and CJ Thorpe came back together to carry their father home and the emotional response of their mother. Kill Tombstone? Hardly. CJ went in to try and failed. How can they take down a monster to get revenge? I don't think they can. First they have to go through Gravedigger and Malakai Midnight. Make no mistake about it, The Cade Brothers are at war with The House of Judgement.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  • What are the terrible secrets of Fernicus's diary?
  • Who is stalking Aurora?
  • What will Gravedigger do next?
  • Where is EMM?

HAVE YOUR SAY:

I couldn't be more excited. When I joined OSW, I was awful. I spent 11 promos being awful and clueless about what was expected in OSW. It took conversations with Dean and Connor to get not only a great new character but an understanding of how to be my best writing self. I've had nothing but the most fun from the very first day on this roster and to beat two OSW legendary handlers and earn an opportunity at the world title against one of those handlers... I'm flabbergasted.

To see yourself on the main page of the OSW website is an honor. You know that doesn't happen unless you've earned it and two weeks in a row Gravedigger has been there. I'm so pumped about it.

The story with CJ Thorpe and Jackson Cade ramped up this week with the grave yard situation and I don't think Gravedigger is gonna take kindly to someone digging in his yard, doing his job. There's gonna be hell to pay I think.

POP OF THE NIGHT: (What was the moment, in segment, that you enjoyed the most and why?)

I kind of want to put Unleashing here. It is the first time in a little while that I've really felt the super villain energy from Doom. The monologue was great and really set up a cliffhanger for what exactly his plan is for TBM.

But can I really not mention the closer segment too!? That felt attitude era for me - two brothers digging graves over the Tron, two buried alive matches announced to take place concurrently! What's not to like!

BURNING QUESTIONS: (What questions does the show have you asking after reading?)

  • Can the House of Judgement really last on the same team given their storied history?
  • WHAT DID MAMA FOLEY SAY!? We need more sensitive microphones located all throughout Arcadia to stop these private conversations happening!
  • There ain't no way that's the end for Attano. Surely?
  • I wonder what Nox's new gas is, and why I feel like it's bad news for Sunshine?
  • I wonder what exactly "Fun's over. You know what boss said." means. Could it be that they've been told not to cross that like with DB and that he needs to live? Blackwood aludes to the fact they're taking him to do more damage to him but I didn't get that vibe.
  • Okay so Mama Foley probably said Tombstone, but what else did she say?

HAVE YOUR SAY: (How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)

'Finding The Child Acrobat' is a fun setup piece. There are a lot of ways this could go. Could it really be that Klaus is in the business of kidnapping children!? Could he be that depraved? I think there's more to it - maybe the parents gave up the kid or something, I don't know. Is the kid pertinent? Do we know the parents. All these questions and more are running through my head, and I look forward to next week to hopefully clarify some of it!

POP OF THE NIGHT:

The Building of a House takes it here. I was wondering why Tombstone decided to join Zeus and his band of goons at the end of Chain Reaction. But now we know that it did have to do with what Paragon told him about Zeus locking Grimskull, John the Revelator, and Drewitt behind the exit of Arcadia. It's a rather shaky alliance from the looks of things, but a necessary one, given that Tombstone thinks won't have a purpose outside of Arcadia while Zeus and Narcissa won't be in control of the people any longer. We at least know one thing that came out of this; Paragon done fucked up. And I really want to see what the Watcher will do in response to this.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

What did Mama Foley whisper in Felix's ear after Tombstone paid her a visit? The only hint we're given is that it starts with a "T", but that could be literally anything. Was it the Ferryman's name? Or was it something else?

Is Jasper lying when he said he didn't take that video of Aurora? Or is he telling the truth and she has a false lead on the pervert? It wouldn't be unlike Redgrave to lie about the kind of shit he does, but something tells me he's not the guilty party this time around.

Will Attano ever get in a wrestling ring ever again? The doctor advised him not to since he'd more than likely lose any semblance of a normal life, but given all that he's been told by Zeus, I don't see him taking that advice. I mean, he should, but will he?

HAVE YOUR SAY:

TBM - Well shit, DOOM's really ramping up the attack against Maxwell, isn't he? Not only did he concuss the Burned Man after that attack, but now the Scientist is sending his drones after him while he's defenseless? Not only is he kicking a man while he's down, he's also making sure he dies for all that he's done. I'm sure he won't try to kill Max just yet though. The former Stubbins strikes me as the kind of person that wants to see his enemies suffer before he goes in for the finishing blow. What exactly he'll do to torture the Burned Man, I don't quite know, but I'm dreading to find out.

Calypso - Still nothing to really say about her portrayal this week. She was used alright in the match and that's all I really can say in the end.

POP OF THE NIGHT:

Out of Surgery. Harold Attano isn't paralyzed. I've seen enough movies, tv shows, and pro wrestling to know that Harold's going to be coming a house of fire. He can walk so he can fight. The only problem is that this is OSW. In OSW, things don't always have a happy ending and the hero may not end up standing tall. Harold's not going to follow doctor's orders, and I fear what will happen to him.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

Is Klaus Way kidnapping children for his circus?

Can Captain Arcadia ever stop walking into group beatdowns?

Can TBM handle the unleashed DOOM? Is that who caused the red lights at Medical?

Did Aurora bark up the wrong tree?

What the hell is Redgrave fucking like?

Will Nox's new gas have any effect on Mr. Sunshine?

"Just be careful" TBM tells Destructo Boy. Can he ever get anything right?

HAVE YOUR SAY:

Gemini - Nothing but the match here. Congrats Gravedigger!

Thorpe - I love the idea of the consecutive matches. That just tickles my pickle. Gravedigger is going to be a hell of a challenge, and I'd have to think I'm the underdog here. Bring it on. It should be fun. I'd say poor George, but he's a bit of a prick. Also, CJ's an idiot for going after Tombstone like that haha!
