Vendetta #363 - Casino Chaos

PreviousPage 2 of 2

POP OF THE NIGHT: (What was the moment, in segment, that you enjoyed the most and why?)

Everything at the Cade residence.  What Gravedigger and Malakai did to Mary and the overall sinisterness that Six Feet Under do it with.  I feel like this all translates over to Tombstone and just how dark he’s become with Gravedigger being his apprentice with how Gravedigger treated Mary throughout the opening segment.  Then the Cade brother’s discovering what SFU have done to their mother and then finding out their father wasn’t home for any of this, the level of panic they must feel is out of this world.

BURNING QUESTIONS: (What questions does the show have you asking after reading?)

Where is George Cade?

Why is Sunshine still smiling?

What does Redgrave have planned next?

Can Destructo Boy and TBM escape their perspective pursuers?

HAVE YOUR SAY: (How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)

Nox: Again, love how Nox is portrayed as this manipulative asshole.  I love how his goal is to take Sunshine and turn him from this overwhelmingly positive personality to someone overwhelmingly depressive.  Part of me thinks that Mr. Sunshine is suppressing his true feelings after seeing what Nox’s gasses have done to others.  How long can Sunshine hold out, what level of will power and tolerance does Mr. Sunshine have?

Harold: So, no Harold on this week’s episode and it leaves me with a question, are George and Harold’s lack of appearance on this week’s show linked to what Zeus told Harold?

POP OF THE NIGHT: I'm going with Credit Terms here. As a massive fan of the charming charlaton 'give you what you want for a reasonable price' asshole, I love Old Nick Morningstar from second one and his debut segment was chefs kiss. From the jugallo busting on the table, to Old Nick's intro and the classic of a billion questions burning for him, great intro for a character and let's hope he does better then the last Lucifer like character >.>

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  • How can TBM survive a rampaging DOOM?
  • What exactly is this twisted game Jasper's playing with Aurora and what happens the next time she tries to get answers from him?
  • Is Klaus lying about kidnapping the kid or will Arcadia find out the truth?
  • Is Mr Sunshine someone even Nox can't affect or is something brewing inside?
  • Will Murte figure out the truth or is he being sent to murder another of Zeus's enemies?
  • What exactly did Mamma Foley tell Felix?
  • Where the fuck is George Cade?

HAVE YOUR SAY:

Yeah that's about as well as I expected the Kid's run in with the Juggallo's to go. Not surprised it went to attempted murder but James is a lot savvier or just luckier then most so he somehow survives but did he get anything from the encounter or did he just get his ass kicked again?

POP OF THE NIGHT: So this is going to seem weird, but my pop of the night wasn't actually a segment, but that final match between Tombstone and Aurora. I don't know exactly what it was that caught my eye on the whole thing, but I was absolutely rivited the whole time I was going through the match. The use of combat, the fear, the setting. All of it really came through quite nicely, and was my highlight of the whole show!

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  • Will Mrs. Cade survive the beatdown she got?
  • Where is Papa Cade?
  • What's up with this plan of Ol' Nick Morningstar and his new Juggalo friend he's made?
  • Is Mr. Smiley even human, or is he already sad and depressed and this is how he works?

HAVE YOUR SAY: I'm really enjoying the feud for Captain Arcadia this time around! This week has him confronting Klaus, and him being caught off guard on the whole "The kid ran away, we didn't kidnap him!" It was a fantastic segment but man. Captain Arcadia always get ganged up on, how many times is he gonna need that lesson to learn? Gonna be a meme at this point.

POP OF THE NIGHT:

Oh I gotta give this to The Cell here. Felix Foley is absolutely pissed and I'm excited to see it! Tombstone is such a bastard with how he's treated Felix and his family up until this point that it just makes sense for Foley to finally lose his cool. Though, with how unstoppable the Ferryman is recently, it didn't quite work out for him.

That being said I'm really loving this feud so far. Though I'm just wondering now how well Felix will hold up once he finally gets Tombstone in a match. Really fantastic segment here, I definitely think it's one of  the storylines I'm most invested in at the moment other than my own.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  • Where the hell is George?
  • Is Mary even still alive?
  • What did Felix's mother tell him?
  • When did Gemini and Muerte become a couple?

HAVE YOUR SAY:

Jackson Cade: By God, man. These segments this week were absolutely wild and honestly I think Gravedigger is digging his own grave here. Pun intended, of course. Right now all I want to know is where is  George and will Mary be okay? And how will Jackson and CJ get revenge on Six Feet Under going forward? You know they have to want to just tear them apart.

Hatchet: I'm curious to know if Destructo Boy got anything out of storming into the Gathering's compound. I suppose time will tell, especially now that Destructo Boy made his daring escape. Also, I should stress, I love Hatchet calling him a fuckboy. Great dialogue from Hatchet.

POP OF THE NIGHT:

Gonna give this to the Cades vs. SFU storylines this week. Damn did that escalate fast. Mary has been fucking decimated and the Cade boys can't find their father anywhere. The Shovel and Mr. Midnight have spilled first blood here tonight and I fear what the consequences might be for the both of them, if any. Either way, I'm excited to find out just what will happen next and where the hell George might have gone. Hopefully he didn't know they were coming and left his wife to this fate. That wouldn't be that cool of a thing to do after that stunt he tried to pull with CJ.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

Is Mary Cade even alive after that brutal breaking and entering performed by Gravedigger and Malakai? I'd imagine all those shovel shots to the head of a NPC means she's dead, or at the very least hospitalized. Without confirmation, however, those are only guesses.

Where is George anyways? He wasn't present when the Cade home was broken into, and he wasn't with his sons when they returned to survey the damage. Where could he possibly be?

How badly did Aurora fuck up by calling out Jasper Redgrave? Now that she's on his bad side, I can't imagine she'll be so brazen with her attempts to call him out now that he had a good look at his model in an expression that he likes. Will the tables turn? Or will Aurora still be her ballsy self and go after him like she always has?

HAVE YOUR SAY:

TBM - Gotta admit, I'm surprised Maxwell was able to fight off all those drones and emerge from the attack in fighting condition. Given that the sheer numbers of them should've been too much for him to handle, I was amazed he was able to fight free and jump out of a window. I have to wonder where we're gonna go next with this though. Will the drones continue their search and eventually find the Survivor somewhere not to far from the hospital? Only time will tell, but I'm excited to find out what ends up happening next!

Calypso - Nothing to say this week.
