WOULD I LIE TO YOU II

Attano is accused of being ungrateful by Narcissa. Her and Zeus score massive heel points throughout the night, but the pop of the night comes in Attano's reply. Why would he be?

Everything that has happened to his daughter is Zeus's fault, he never has dirt on his own hands and Attano knows that.

Narcissa confirms his suspicions and we get one hell of an emotional cliffhanger.

BURNING QUESTIONS: (What questions does the show have you asking after reading?)

  • What happens next week when Cade goes for Tombstone. Has the Ferryman finally gone too far? Will Cade be the one to bring him down?
  • What happened at the end? Narcissa? George Cade? Attano? Will Attano even make it to RK?

HAVE YOUR SAY: (How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)

SUNSHINE

Not much beyond the match so I'll focus there. I liked the way he came across and the ending was creative. Love that Matt Ruby still hates everything about Sunshine. That's good stuff.

EMM

Drewitt? Surely not. Surely Paragon is just messing with Muerte's head. I love this so much - the uniqueness of this storyline. We know, he knows, she doesn't know but may somewhere in her subconscious. She's going to find out, and where does that leave Muerte?

Damned top notch storyweaving.

POP OF THE NIGHT:

Visiting Hours 1 for me. Straight off the rip, we're being told Attano is not only gonna be back (regardless of if he's capable or not, which is something I'm looking forward to finding out) but against George Cade. You just know some shit's gonna go down, whether it is regarding Michaela, The House vs APD, Attano's condition/future or... Well, who knows what else? I love having questions, and this provided a lot of them. Later segments added to the intrigue for sure, but this set the tone for me.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  • What the ever loving shit happened to Michaela?
  • Was Jackson's proclamation all for show to out the Owls in his force, or is he serious about waging a lawless war regardless?
  • What is Jasper's gameplan here? I thought it would all be resolved at Bad Blood, but I guess not. Also, what is the 'real' stalker up to if it isn't him?
  • It seems SFU and The Circus are heading towards a collision, but I can't help wonder if the difference in Gravedigger's and Malakai's methods are gonna lead to a falling out sooner rather than later.
  • The tone between Morningstar and Ezekiel has shifted this week. I'm looking forward to seeing the effect Morningstar will have on an already unhinged Graves.
  • How badly is Cade gonna get fucked up by Tombstone?
  • Who is the watcher who talked with EMM? Will they be a character going forward, or just a faceless member of the organisation?

HAVE YOUR SAY

The usual here - Absolutely no complaints with the portrayal, anyone in a shitty situation with so little power over it would be frustrated, and Aurora's no different. Just looking forward to how the story plays out!

POP OF THE NIGHT:

The Visiting Hours series was a compelling read from start to finish. I think Harold Attano has huge underdog energy, which coming from badass energy is quite special. The writers have made him compelling in both badassery and underdoggery. The other elements of the story, with CJ Thorpe/Narcissa and Zeus' involvement with Michaela is very interesting and I'm very invested in what happens next week.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  • What did happen to Michaela?
  • Can Attano fight?
  • Will SFU destroy the Cade's before the PPV?
  • Was that Drewitt or... who was it?

HAVE YOUR SAY:

There looks to be a little dissension between Gravedigger/Malakai and the way they do things. I think Malakai is a little more intelligent than to stand before Ajax and try to convince him to join - that's not really his deal. He's the kind've guy who gets others to do his bidding, but I know that the story can't be set between Gravedigger and Malakai unless he's there. That makes me think that Malakai vs. Gravedigger is coming down the line, and the eventual demise of Six Feet Under too.

POP OF THE NIGHT: (What was the moment, in segment, that you enjoyed the most and why?)

Visiting Hours I, II, and III

Damn, so I have expressed how much of a parallel I have been drawing from Harold in this situation because my recent medical situations from this year. Harold has become as close to a “self-insert”/”self-fantasy’ character as I can get in the Arcadia realm and if I wasn’t fucked off by The House of Judgment and George Cade. These three segments did enough to make my piss boil. From Zeus just leaving Harold alone with Narcissa (fuck him for that gesture), Narcissa’s condescension to Harold (she can sit and swivel for that bullshit), then George coming in with the intention to end Harold before Ring King and Narcissa and Calypso with their evil intentions at the end hint to them ending George, CJ, and Harold (all of them look like assholes here). Just fuck them all, I am so hyped for the promo I have brewing in my head for George vs. Harold because of this whole story and just how much motivation and emotion I am personally feeling for Harold here. My only limitations will be confining my thoughts to 500 words when that time comes.

BURNING QUESTIONS: (What questions does the show have you asking after reading?)

How is Cade’s war with Tombstone going to effect Arcadia?

What’s this sick game Jasper is playing with Aurora?

Will Ajax be sucked into The House of Judgment or is Midnight putting them on the path to a war on two fronts with Way’s Circus along with the already existing war with the Cades?

What sort of fresh hell will TBM and DB find if they continue to poke Doom?

What is going to be the end result of these two zealots clashing between Nick and Graves?

What part did Gino play in Troy’s web of deceit?

Will EMM tell on himself before Paragon with all the mental shit he’s going through?

HAVE YOUR SAY: (How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)

Harold: Please see my pop of the night for my thoughts, just epic shit here!

Nox: A bit sad Nox didn’t move on in Ring King. King Nox the Gas Giant had a great ring to it but Jasper (AKA Brian) is tournament tested already so best of luck to everyone still in the tournament. No other segments including Nox give me nothing further but I can’t wait to see how this next week shakes out.

POP OF THE NIGHT:

This weeks show felt a little tame storyline wise but the Visiting Hours segment between Narcissa and Harold Attano was illuminating to say the least. The nuances of that situation were well and truly explored here and it built this tension that has me on the edge of my seat waiting to see whether or not Attano/Zeus will end up at war, as well as as Narcissa/Attano and Cade/Attano. There's so many different parts of this story to be looked at and that's what makes it the best angle on the show.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  • Will Attano make it to the match? This reminds me a lot of the Rick Plant IWF storyline, if anyone remembers that?
  • When will we see Foley and muppets!?
  • Is Drewitt alive and has he escaped!? How!?

HAVE YOUR SAY:

You know, I was really excited by the main page article last week after Bad Blood and the poster revealing what Lost Tapes would be about. This week, I was expecting some sort of follow on that explained more about what's happening to Foley and got... nothing? It was a little perplexing, to be truthful. I really expected to see something unravelling the muppet situation and diving into it. Don't get me wrong, the underdog "will he make it to the match" shtick was well executed and entertaining, but the story I was most excited to see just wasn't followed up on at all.

POP OF THE NIGHT: I liked the build up with the Visiting Hours series, but I was also interested in Is It Love? That was a very cool segment with Paragon that left me with a lot of questions.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  • Will Attano make it to Ring King?
  • What kind of damage was done to Cade and family?
  • Not really a question, but I think the Morningstar/Graves match up could be fun
  • Are the moles at APD the faceless cops we saw quietly exiting or is there perhaps more to the story?

HAVE YOUR SAY: Not booked on this one

POP OF THE NIGHT:

Gotta be the EMM seg. Who is visiting EMM? Is it Paragon fucking with him? Or did he somehow get Drewitt (or even JTR or Grimskull) out of behind that door. Right now, I'm more interested in the dynamics at play with the couple. What happens when Gemini finds out the truth?

BURNING QUESTIONS:

Can Attano make it to his match with George?

Can George make it to his match with Harold?

Will Jasper Redgrave's Little Star (absolutely love bringing back the "Little [blank]" thing that he did with Jackson Cade) behave?

Graves and Nick are going to destroy Arcadia fighting each other, aren't they?

How will Candy Kane deal with being hunted by the mob?

HAVE YOUR SAY:

Thorpe - The Cade's may have walked into the trap, but I enjoyed what we got before hand. CJ stepping up between his pops and Attano was a good moment.

POP OF THE NIGHT: Visiting Hours III
This had a couple of pop moments for me. One, when CJ stood between his father and Attano. I think that speaks volumes. Perhaps CJ isn't such a bad guy after all as history might suggest. The second for me was the line "And neither will you" and the appearance of Narcy and Calypso. Shit went down inside that medical suite and it all started with that brilliant transition.

BURNING QUESTIONS:
- Will Attano show up?
- Who visited EMM?
- Can the Cade's possibly survive the war, or does the house always truly win?
- What happened when the lights went out?

HAVE YOUR SAY:
Welp, it seems like Jasper isn't quite done with Aurora after all. Redgrave seems to be playing with her a bit, simply asking her to fulfill her role in his little game or he'll end her life. This is a great look for the serial killer, really showing his more twisted side. Looking forward to seeing more!

POP OF THE NIGHT: Visiting Hours 3 takes it for me. Seeing the payoff, the stand-off between Cade and Attano with Thorpe chiming in only to have Narcissa and Calypso pop in at the end with a menacing air before the cut to dark and sound effects were an absolute blast of a time. Really hoping that Attano gets back on his feet in time to properly kick Senior Cade's ass a bit.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  • What dastardly plot does Redgrave have in store for Aurora?
  • What does Paragon have invested into EMM?
  • Is Attano gonna make his match?
  • Will Cade survive the early 1v1 against the might of Tombstone?

HAVE YOUR SAY: Whoever is writing this feud for Candy Kane, you're doing an utterly fantastic start to it. This has just the right vibe, characterization, and more all rolled up into one. You did a fantastic job, and I'm getting a little worried for my ol' pal Candy Kane right now. Such a fantastic hook, line and sinker with that one.
