i enjoyed the color wheel segments this week, more specifically the sadistic nature being shown in nox. ever since his reemergence he’s looked i’d say as formidable and fearsome as anyone out there. he has a certain control and stronghold over his adversaries at the moment and hes pretty snarky with it as well, kinda toying with them while continuing to fulfill his mission. enjoying what i’ve been seeing with him lately.

what is captain arcadias plan? what was to that picture roland found? what else does nox have planned for felix? whats in that box from redgrave?

kinda sucks this feud with anton and roland will be cut short here cause i felt like it was heading to a really good place. not to say that it wasnt already in great position but i felt like we were really starting to make moves. nevertheless i enjoyed it for what it was and im still excited to see what the culmination might look like next week.
POP OF THE NIGHT
Probably a weird choice from me, but 'helpless'. It felt very organic and very human, something often missing in the frequent tales of brutality and badassery around these parts. What really sealed the deal for me though was the following line - "You may not have help, but that don't make you helpless, does it?" Man, that hit a homer. A nice bit of affirmation, light in the dark and a great way to inspire EMM.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
- What are Grave's followers actually trying to achieve with the violence? Just converting people via duress, or is there a larger goal/target?
- Who - or what - was Anton when he was younger? I get the feeling this isn't his first run-in with the sharp-shooter, and he remembers things much more than Gray does.
- What did Nox mean by 'The truth always comes at a price?' What truth? Maybe he means about Sarah Rijen and he's gonna send Hatchet back after Burning Justice, but it doesn't feel like that's the 'truth' here.
- Will EMM have to stand alone against The House, or will he get some surprise backup?
- Is my sweet baby snookums Mr. Sunshine okay? :'(
HAVE YOUR SAY:
I was very surprised to see Aurora get out of that scrape! Reminded me of jumping on top of the zombies in Dead Rising, but given her gimmick, a lil bit of parkour traversal is pretty reasonable! For some reason I'd never thought of parkour before. Maybe too many Tony Hawks and SSX games in my childhood. Looking forward to seeing how things develop with both Malakai and Gravedigger, plus if anything will happen between the two when Malakai inevitably 'harms a hair on her head'.
POP OF THE NIGHT: of stuff that stuck with me "helpless" why the El Mariachi character kinda is appealing to me so I liked it the most. The colour wheel overarch was also really cool. I kinda didn't know much about the nox character so seeing this super sadistic side of him. Along with the cliff hanger of foley at the end was nice.

Will EMM be able to find back up or is he going solo?
The hell are in these boxes?
What was a young savor like? what turned him into what he is now?
HAVE YOUR SAY: I really liked how Ayame was portrayed things more came together. I really did like the overarch and I didn't really feel like I missed anything. Two rough losses in a row but hey they were against two really tough opponents so I can't really be too upset. Plus I think the result that came out of the match suits the ongoing storylines better so what really can I say. Sucks that the roland/savor story is getting cut short. I really liked where that storyline was going. Onwards to Forces of Darkness I suppose. I'm actually shocked at how close red snow is
POP OF THE NIGHT: (What was the moment, in segment, that you enjoyed the most and why?)
Loved the Zeus/Way segment. It's always nice to get a step back and see how much Zeus has a hand, wheeling and dealing, in regular Arcadian affairs. His knowledge and involvement with both the Attano daughter and the Way circus takeover is a nice little break from his current machinations to show just how much control the Baron has over Arcadia. We get told a lot, but these types of segs do more to show it.

What is Anton Savor's connection to Roland Gray?
Where is Mighty taking Ayame?
What's Captain Arcadia's plan? Side note, I'm glad to see him not getting bumrushed. He's growing and learning!
HAVE YOUR SAY: (How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)
Gem - As much as it sucks to have the HOJ bearing down on my little rogue, I think I'm more invested in what happens when she and Muerte get a chance to talk. Can/Will she for give him?
Thorpe - The fact that this seg is called bits and pieces, and just the iconography of the box from se7en, it makes me feel like Jasper is sending CJ parts of someone, but who is it? Either way, CJ is so spooked, he's actually doing what Redgrave says.
POP OF THE NIGHT: Main Event
For me, the pop of the night came in the way of a match this week. The sheer dominant force that is Tombstone put on a fucking clinic of a beatdown on Mr. Sunshine in that inferno match. Holy fuck. The moment the chokeslam hit over the ropes I knew it was the end. A massive way to cap off a very very strong showing from Tombstone.

- Will Gemini listen to the wise words of Mr. Sunshine?
- What connection do Anton/Roland share?
- What's Mighty Mighty got planned?
- What did CJ mean by Jackson has done enough damage already? Could whatever's in the box be related to him in some way?
HAVE YOUR SAY:
All is well for The Killer King. Whatever's in the boxes sure has CJ spooked enough to keep him at bay and out of the picture. Of course, big brother looks to protect little brother and we head into another Cade/Redgrave showing. But one has to wonder, is this a smart move on Jackson's part to get involved?
POP OF THE NIGHT: (What was the moment, in segment, that you enjoyed the most and why?)
I really enjoyed Love Untethered. I thought the way it portrayed Aurora - how she escaped through the crowd via using the Owls as stepping stones really showed her thrillseeking/no holds barred style of negotiating these things.

- What IS coming next for Foley at the hands of Nox?
- I wonder who could be the one setting the contract on Roland Gray. I really do think the Savor link is a red herring.
- Which side of Locke will win out in this battle over Wolf Fang?
- What exactly do the Corporation want out of Hatchet? How compliant is Nox talking?
- Will Muerte really go it alone?
- When will Ezekiel Graves get his comeuppance?
- I really need to know what is in the boxes now, please.

Okay, so we get a little more backstory in 'Calling In the Favour' - Zeus helped sign off for Klaus taking over the Circus - but we don't really hear what the crux of the matter is. It involves George Cade in some way. Interesting. I'm really looking forward to seeing how Michaela fits into all of this, and how she is now. Will Attano see her - will she even recognise him?
POP OF THE NIGHT:
I have to give this to Calling in the Favor because I really love seeing just how interwoven all of the affairs in Arcadia really are. Zeus has had a hand in many an event and I love how the Titans in Olympus seem to connect to him in one way or another. The backstory being laid out here is fantastic and the way Klaus and Zeus talk to one another is fantastic. Really fun segment here.

- What the hell does Nox want out of Hatchet?
- What's in the boxes?

Jackson Cade: Color me interested even more in what lies inside the boxes. I have to wonder if it relates to Jackson in any way directly or if he simply pissed off Redgrave enough for him to push the envelope. Either way I'm anxious to know just what CJ's seen in those boxes and just what kind of power it holds over him.
Hatchet: My boy is finally found! I have to wonder what Nox wants from him, but more than that I have to wonder just when the Juggalo will get free, if he can get free. I miss Arcadia's biggest douchebag.
POP OF THE NIGHT: Bits and Pieces II takes it for me. There's something still shocking to see our World Champion paralyzed like this by fear, and despite Jackson trying to do what he could for his brother. And then there's the box. Another box, holding something so gruesome and violent that it's pushing the two of them apart despite everything. I am really curious to see what was in there.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
- Will EMM find any help for his match, or be absolutely overwhelmed?
- What's Nox wanting to do with Hacthet now?
- How much can Foley take of Nox's fun?
- Will Gemini listen to Mr. Sunshine's advice?
HAVE YOUR SAY: MY! BOY! IS! KILLIN! IT! Absolutely loved the segment this week lads, loved to see CA get involved in being a proper hero in fending off the zealous Disciples, and not being immediately curb stomped into the earth! Really ramping up for this show, and I'm over the moon with how it's been going this month in particular. Excellent stuff.
POP OF THE NIGHT: (What was the moment, in segment, that you enjoyed the most and why?)
The Color Wheel saga has it for me this week. I know I sound like a homer, but I have to say that seeing Nox at this level of evil villain is something that I never saw. I am sitting here wondering to myself, "What part does Doom play in these plans?" because I know that Doom isn't just sitting on the sidelines throughout this, and I cannot wait to see how he plays into this sinisterness. Also, how does Hatchet play into Doom and Nox's plans? Why has Foley been kept so close during this whole plan? How do all these parts fit together, because I know there's a puzzle here but I can't even begin to see the edge pieces, I love how all of these characters are interacting, and seeing Nox once more as a puppetmaster.

What more is behind the relationship between Klaus and Zeus?
Will EMM's fate of Turning on people rear its head again?

Harold: A victory on this show was a nice way to build momentum. I want to know how deep the relationship with Klaus and Zeus goes and just where does George with the Cade Family fit in with this. This whole thing is escalating quickly!
