TOP THREE MOMENTS:

(Three moments of the show that stood out to you and why.)

BURNING QUESTIONS:

(What questions has the show left you with?)

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

(Which promo was your favourite of the week?)

HAVE YOUR SAY:

(How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

1: The End of the War: In my opinion, this was the perfect way to open the show following such a badass PPV. One part that really stood out to me was: “Ares, however, stood apart. Like a soldier without a war. His eyes scanned the shattered remains of the battleground that had sparked Arcadia’s great civil war. Beneath his stoic mask was something rare. Confusion.” That line hit hard. It made Ares feel human not just this larger than-life monster. The wording was so vivid I could picture the whole moment clearly. Amazing writing.

2: Missing Right Hand: The tension between Graves and Nero continues to rise. First, Nero took the credits from the Disciples, and now he’s taken Lucius. Graves isn’t going to forget this anytime soon, haha. But seriously, the segment was so smooth and well done. This has been my longest-running rivalry in OSW, and to have it with such a talented writer makes the ongoing build all the more rewarding.

3: Origins: Zephyr: I love backstories, and this one was deep, meaningful, and incredibly powerful. It’s exactly the kind of follow-up that Hounds of Hades needed. I’d love to see more origin stories like this one in the future.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

• Will Gravedigger get revenge on Ares?

• Did Nero hurt Lucius?

• Can we get more OSW origin stories like Zephyr?

• What’s happening to Destructo—has he lost his mind? Was he affected by the gas?

FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

Hasty Actions: This promo felt honest without forcing depth. Captain Arcadia isn’t pretending to be a flawless hero—he owns his mistakes, the beatings, the losses. But he keeps stepping forward, throwing himself into the fire, because someone has to. That raw vulnerability really worked. I liked it a lot.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

Big win for Graves 1-1 against a true OSW legend like Tombstone. Always an honour to stand across from such a powerful character.

With Ring of Dreams approaching, I’m feeling that excited kind of nervous. Two matches. Three top-tier opponents. It’s going to be a big night for Graves—win or lose, I’m just thrilled to be in the mix.

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

(Three moments of the show that stood out to you and why.)

  1. That opening segment is certainly a thinker. Something tells me the war is not as over as it seems to be by the end of the segment. I'm not sure that a bit of concrete and steel would stop someone getting through to the door anyway. It feels like this is just delaying that payoff of the explosion at the end of a ticking timebomb.
  2. Answers I is full of intrigue. What a segment. I love a mystery and I love a flashback - and this was both! The fact it was titled Answers I means we're likely to get more of this too!
  3. That final segment ALSO left me really intrigued. This super serum that Hatchet has had - is this a permanent thing, or time limited? I love the comparison of Scissors as a scalpel but Hatchet as a chainsaw. Very apt.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

(What questions has the show left you with?)

  • What is the answers that Savor seeks and why does he need Cap Arcadia to do the dirty work for him?
  • Ah so the Attano secret is the thing Narcissa told Night. Now we just need to know what it is!
  • Is that laughing gas Nox used this week? Nox using nox!? 😀
  • Will Nero go through with his threat to kill Lucien!?
  • Lipstick on the mirror in Gemini and Muerte's locker room - Narcissa maybe? She does seem to know an awful lot...
  • What is it that Redgrave has over the Cade family?
  • Who stepped forward to speak to Tombstone - someone we know

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

(Which promo was your favourite of the week?)

Can I go for "You Are A Tool" just for the title alone? *checks earpiece* I can't? Okay. Then I'll go with it because it was a good theme, comparing worker tools to the worker

HAVE YOUR SAY:

(How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)

KLAUS

OOOOOH ANOTHER ORIGINS. I like the touch of the string of handkerchiefs that Zephyr produces, and this show of what looks to be kindness from Zephyr leads me to wonder what it is that went wrong, since we know Zephyr is dead. Well, I should say - just because its OSW and you never know - that we THINK Zephyr is dead. I'm interested to see how Klaus turned from a scared lonely orphan into what he is now.

DREWITT

Interesting that we seem to now be building towards a full on Apokalypsis implosion. Grimskull still doesn't trust Drewitt, but now Drewitt doesn't trust either of them. It's very messy, but then there is a lot of history and a lot of bad blood there. I'm looking forward to seeing how this progresses.

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

  1. I really liked The End of the War because it really does feel like it's trying to delay the door because Zeus  is afraid of what lies beyond it. He said he was wrong about the door, and it leaves me wondering if we're to believe anything Zeus says. I also give two thumbs up to Gravedigger coming in swinging on Ares. We love to see Ares finally in the ring.
  2. I enjoyed A Cornered Dog quite a bit. It made excellent use of description to really give that camera hazing over feeling. I also think the lack of any dialogue between the two involved added a certain flair to it that I think really brought everything together here.
  3. Missing Right Hand was a great segment. I've been a fan of the Nero/Graves feud when it shows up and I think the idea of Nero kidnapping Lucien is a great hook and has me really looking forwards to seeing how this can explode even further.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  • What are the Answers we heard about in the eponymous segment?
  • Will Nero actually kill Lucien?
  • Will the gas used on Destructo have long term effects?
  • What does Redgrave really mean about a matter of blood?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

I'm giving this to The Wages of Sin. I have to give it to Jin, he can really make his promos sound like a sermon with how they play out. And beating Tombstone is never an easy feat so I say that makes this promo one to look at.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

Jackson Cade: I'm so painfully curious to know what answers that person got for digging up Thorpe. Even more than that I need to know what this matter of blood really is that Jasper spoke about. I have no notes, I'm hooked.

Hatchet: Big Match Hatch gets his own super serum? Nox made good on the deal? I have to wonder if this will make a different kind of persona for Hatchet. Because god damn is he looking terrifying after getting injected. Also Scissors is back? He smiled? I'm so hyped.

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

(Three moments of the show that stood out to you and why.)

  1. Answers, I was a fascinating segment to me. I adore Dean's mysteries he inserts into the shows, and this one has something spectacular behind it. Someone has/had been given the task of unearthing CJ Thorpe by a mysterious woman, and went off to do it. It's an insight, with secrets laden with the truth as a bargaining chip being set out in front of us. And for that, it stole my attention from the
  2. Seeking the Truth caught my attention, as Attano seems to be truly confused as to what the Night knows the truth behind. And he's being surprisingly straightforward, asking him for what he means only to be rebutted by the Night. The honesty and confusion came across near perfect, and stuck out to me this week!
  3. A Deal with the Devil, as something big's rumbling out of this corner for sure. When the Reaper, Tombstone, and an unknown third party are meeting up, talking about ending something at Ring of Dreams, and with this third person confirming they have no idea what's coming means there's gonna be something big. Maybe it's Zeus that's the subject, and Arcadia has to end. Maybe it's Gravedigger and the back and forth they've had. Truth be told, I'm not sure who it's going to be and that's got me chomping at the bit.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  • Where's Grave's second in command?
  • Who did Tombstone and the Reaper talk to?
  • What did Zeus see that had him bury the door?
  • Who dug up CJ, and who paid him to do so?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

Only a Man was a fun promo this week, and had some rather fun thematic tying to the afterlife and how that plays out for the people in Arcadia, and how it was going to play out for Graves!

HAVE YOUR SAY:

Hell yeah Cap, stick it to Savor! Like to see this darker side of him come out, the complete lack of trust in Savor and willingness to help out and keep things seperate despite the literal smiles in the crowd at the reveal of that interaction.

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

  1. i always thought the origins story segments with klaus were cool, because you know eventually its gonna pay and reveal something very crazy, in the good sense.  i am just interested in seeing how his origin story continues to progress and what more we'll learn about zephyr moving forward.
  2. i enjoyed war amongst riders for the sheer tension it brought. it had a little bit of everything, from the small little attack on drewitt from drewitt then pointing the finger so to speak at emm. cant wait to see how this story will play out, and if emm actually will mind his business.
  3. definitely was intrigued as well by the answers segment. kinda similar to how i feel that the klaus origin segments will lead to something massive maybe down the line, i immediately felt that same type of feeling after reading this segment. i just feel like there's so many possible ways it could go, the identity of this man. and since it seems like these segments will come in a series, i cant wait for the follow up.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

whos this mystery person from the answers segment?

will emm allow drewitt to handle grimskull?

is there something particular nero wants ezekiel to admit?

who walked in on tombstone?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

(Which promo was your favourite of the week?)

i did like wages of sin for graves. the structure was on point in terms of how it was mapped out and executed i believe so i really did enjoy reading this one.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

its been such an emotional roller coaster for captain arcadia with the way hes been tugged around and portrayed amongst arcadia lately, etc, im just starting to feel bad for my guy. but his developments over the past weeks has been cool to see, and im interested to see what his next course of action will be since he vows to handle this sunshine issue alone. i do wanna say that ive enjoyed the portrayal of anton as well. these are things i can see and imagine anton doing in my head. so i cant wait to see how things will be written up next.

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

1. The end of the war, I didn't know what I expected after the Seekers won Hounds of Hades but sealing up the door was not it. It keeps everything permanently in Arcadia and I wonder what it means for the Seekers now that they can't seek.

2. Origins: Zephyr,  I love deep cuts like this, throwbacks that really help explore a character. Now we see why the Circus means so much to Klaus, I wonder what happened to Zephyr, I don't have high hopes for his fate though.

3. Answers I has me intrigued as hell. I'm wondering what answers will be found and obviously who the shrouded people are, i have a few guesses which is always what makes these kind of segments fun. For now though, I just want to see what happens and be surprised.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

Who was at Thorpes grave?

What is Tombstone going to do at Ring of Dreams?

How changed is Hatchet with that super serum?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

The combo of Hatchet and Grimskull worked so well with using us as brides through their planning. It's a time I read my opponents promo before I wrote mine and went fuck when I read it, just tried to make something nearly competitive.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

I can't say much for Narcy today as it was more of a segment for Ares Gravedigger and Zeus rather than Narcissa herself with her asking one question and being more wife than her own person in that first segment. It makes me wonder what's planned for ring of dreams.

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

(Three moments of the show that stood out to you and why.)

  1. End of the war: The sealing of the door was something that was completely unexpected. It keeps everything confined and leaves things at a state of unease.
  2. The ending segment:  Seeing the monsters of Nox's creation not just be opposed to eachother but have a viseral hatred for each other is compelling. Something exciting to see given and is a nice extra layer on top of the ring of dreams match.
  3.  Deal with the Devil: something is up, and something big is going to happen. Who knows what or when but it's gonna be really interesting to see.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

Who was that visiting Tombstone and reaper?

What's gotten into destructo?

What is the meaning of the message in EMM and Gemini's locker room?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

Wasn't able to catch up on promos due to outside reasons apologies.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

After the whole Caido Feud and Destructo feud running tandem I think returning to this is kind of interesting it allows the more angry side to flow more naturally. Plus even in that short time both characters have been through a lot of evolution. Excited to see where this will go.

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

(Three moments of the show that stood out to you and why.)

  1. The End of the War, I see why this has been a popular one this week.  Ares has become a soldier without a war but by the end of the segment he finds a war to fight.  On top of that there’s a threat of consequence if he’s unable to live up to his end of everything.  I really want to see what Gravedigger vs. Ares will turn out to be.

2. Origins: Zephyr, this is something I’ve been waiting on since this war started the revisiting of the saga of Zephyr.  I cannot wait to see how this progress and if we’ll get answers as to how Zephyr was buried under his own circus and how Klaus came to lead the Circus.  I am here for the lore of these characters and more origins will be ever the treat for me.

3. A Cornered Dog, okay, I’m a homer, a shameless, shameless homer, but I’ve been waiting for this to ramp up again.  Nox and Destructo it’s as if they’re going to keep going back and forth until one or both are buried.  I am truly in awe of Destructo’s tracking abilities, but I love how Nox always appears a step ahead.  However, I am troubled by Destructo’s laughter, fucking ominous.

4. Super Serum, I will continue my habit of being shameless here because damn didn’t Nox look good here.  A couple weeks away from the spotlight and he can still capture it, even after enduring a loss.  Nox is playing with fire here with Hatchet all hopped up on whatever serum has unlocked Scissors, and Scissors is lurking, hiding somewhere out of the way.  I cannot wait to see what this symphony of destruction looks like.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

Why the hell was Destructo Laughing?

What’re the Consequences if Ares fails?

Will the Door be able to be unearthed in the Future or is it gone forever?

Will people stop ambushing Drewitt?

What’re the Answers being sought by those who dug up CJ Thorpe’s body?

Are we ramping up for an inferno match between Ayame and Eclipse?  If so, I am here for that shit.

Will the Reverend confess his sins?

How will Redgrave and Jackson function as Tag Team Champions?

What the fuck is the goddamn “Truth”?

What’s Tombstones plan?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

Wages of Sin – This was a sermon, and I have heard my share.  It set forth with a message, and that message was delivered.  Each word had meaning setting up the Wages of Sin to juxtapose with Tombstone’s task as the gravedigger and his desire to be the ferryman once more.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

(How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)

Nox – See my top three, I will add that I was so happy to see Nox of the show this week and to have his feud with Destructo back on the menu is wonderful.

Harold: I really felt for Harold here, even though his tone may be emotionless he hasn’t given up on The Night.  He wanted to parlay to talk to see if there was still something that could be worked out.  What this, “truth” was or is, and why do I have a feeling this may be Harold’s past life coming back to bite him in the ass again.  I am honestly anxious about what this reveal will be, and I cannot wait to find out.

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

(Three moments of the show that stood out to you and why.)

  1. ... MIDDLE MAN - There's so many dynamics going on here. George Cade is still driving the wedge at Jackson Cade, and Cade isn't having it. He's over the lies and the deception, but there's something... an undefined moment in here where it is Redgrave who as usual has more cards up his sleeve than what he has revealed. It's a matter of blood - what does he mean by that? For Redgrave, it could mean literal blood, or something about family bonds.
  2. ... ANSWERS I - I love these types of segments. the mystique, the intrigue. The story being told without anybody actually being revealed. We centre around Thorpe's grave, and somebody wants to dig it up to get answers. What are they seeking? What will they find? Who the hell has screwed somebody over here ans what will the consequences be?
  3. ... THE END OF THE WAR - There's two moments here that I love. Firstly, the assuredness from Zeus - in his own way he takes control of the situation as only he can. Seeker or Preservationist, it doesn't matter any more because the door is gone. Classic fucking Zeus. The second moment is something I found actually laugh out loud funny. Mainly because I've been watching the show 'Ghosts' on Netflix (awesome comedy btw). Having Gravedigger pop back from death outta nowhere and the first line he says is " You KILLED me?!" My brain pictured this with so much emphasis and drama on the Killed, like an ott teenage girl, which is a really fun way of thinking about Gravedigger... But that's just me. Either way, I loved the way things opened here.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

(What questions has the show left you with?)

  • What will they find... or not find...  when they dig up CJ Thorpe's grave?
  • What the hell is Redgrave on about? What does he know and how much will it shatter everything about Jackson Cade's world?
  • Tombstone is scary at the best of times, but what deal has he struck and what the hell is going to happen?
  • What is Nero willing to do to Lucien to get back at Graves?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

(Which promo was your favourite of the week?)

BETTER OUT THAN IN

Who doesn't love a good fart joke?

I thought that's what I was getting with that opening line - but then things got serious when we got to Doom. We got to something far deeper layered than just comparing Nox's gas to a fart. We got the pressure build up paralleled to Felix's own story. We got the betrayal of Doom as that moment it was released. But cleverly done, all along, there was Nox.

The promo itself flowed as the metaphor he was unpacking stated. We get that pressure, that build up, then that release. When we released that pressure by talking about the gas chamber match, the deal was sealed. Damn fine promo!

HAVE YOUR SAY:

(How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)

EMM

I love the portayal of EMM here. The desperation. There's a massive part of him who is still trying to make up for everything that has happened. Reality is, in his mind, he's the one that caused all of this. The war, the door, the sacrifice of Vida and the fall of Apokalypsis... One thing links them all together and it's EMM, and he knows that. So now that he has a semblance of a relationship built back together with Drewitt, he's pushing it too hard. He's desperate for their friendship to work. But EMM needs Drewitt way more than Drewitt needs EMM. It's a cool dynamic. Maybe in smacking all three of their heads together, we can get to a point where they've got it all out of their system and Apokalypsis can ride again?

SUNSHINE

There's a couple of references to work off as Savor and Cap work out their own fragile alliance, but hoooo boy, I like the feeling this is building up to.
