Are you in or out? You can retain the character you had last season, or pick up a new one. To reiterate what Dean said on Discord:
As a rule, you do NOT have to retain your character but you can take up the mantle of a character if dropped by someone else. This goes for Champions as well. If a Champ decides to give up their character and someone takes it over, they'll then take the title as they take the championship character. You do not have to continue as any character. You can switch or not take part.
