Good Dog, Bad Dog

Mr. SunshineMr. Sunshine, Promo

There is a belief that there are such things as bad dogs and good dogs. That some dog breeds have a violent, nasty temperament… where some are good little doggies.

Well, my little Sunbeams, the truth is that a dog is only as good as its owner.

All dogs are taught how to behave by their owner’s actions. With careful care, training and a calm, predictable environment at home… any dog can learn to be a good doggie.

But if the owner neglects the pup, or doesn’t teach them well… then any dog can be a bad dog.

And once you have learned to be a bad doggie… It’s really hard for an old dog to learn new tricks.

A smile…

I know the influence of the Zookeeper, Captain Arcadia. To have your name on that ledger… the owner’s hands are all over your past.

You’re trying so hard to be the good doggie that Arcadia needs. A hero for all to celebrate. But even if you want to be a good dog, the way you have been trained will always be your instinct.

Your name didn’t end up on that list by accident, and no matter how much the pup wanders from his master… the Zookeeper isn’t finished with you yet.
Bite the hand…
Some doggies try to be good little boys, but the abuse they suffer tarnishes them. Destructo was always a pup that looked towards his parents with a loving eye. But you were a product of neglect, boy, and it has taken its toll.

All in the name of a superhero’s mission, they took your best years. And look at the shell of what was left behind. No longer a good boy, but a bad dog who life has chewed up and spat out.

Poor little pup.
Nasty little shit.
But perhaps the worst owner of all is that responsible for Wolf Fang Ayame. For it is the beast within herself that she continues to feed. The bloodlust that she continues to allow to take over.

Ayame is owner of that which lies within her, and she has no control over the bad dog that takes over her. Ill disciplined, rabid and uncontrolled.

The more the beast wins, the more she learns to be a bad little doggie.
Embrace it…
Dogs are a product of their upbringing.

The rabid instinct that burns from within, the neglected pup that trusts nobody, the poorly trained pup that wants to break its owner’s leash.

You’re all bad dogs.

And it’s not your fault, but that is the way it is.

You just never had the type of owners that could teach you a better way. A way to look on the sunny side of life.

To show you that even when the world is bleak and bleary, the sun still shines as long as you let it. You’re no longer pups, and it’s hard to teach old dogs new tricks.

But come Warzone, we will have a lesson for you.
Pain!
To retrain a bad dog, one has to administer tough love so that the sun may shine again.
