Intertwined Souls

In Promo by Wolf Fang Ayame

[Wolf Fang Ayame sits down at the base of a shrine, the branches swaying in the breeze. Allowing a light jingle of the windchimes in the air as she looks up to it.]

“I am no stranger to contracts. It is the way of nature, some are unspoken and they can change the pathing of your life forever. In this case four others’ fates have been intertwined with mine, because of such contracts. And they are four people that I must cleanse.”

“There are men in this match who only wish to be in here as a monument to their own self gratification. That’s you Mighty Mighty, like the skyscrapers; you stand tall and sturdy. But much like them, you are nothing but flash, and stand as a statement to man’s hubris. And while the Natural Order of the world will remain strong. You crumble and will be replaced with no hesitation.”

“There’s people who live for the sole purpose of twisting the existence of the Natural Order. I have described him as Anton. All living beings must eat to sustain, however you pervert that. Twisting the Natural Order into something I can only describe as grotesque. A taste that makes me only feel the bile of hatred rise up when I see your face. The act of feasting has for ages been used to bring packs together. A symbol of warmth turned sour; your mind is not meant for this world.”

“There are wanderers who would claim to be similar to me. I suppose that is the box Lutheran Locke puts themselves into. It is one I would advise against. I state my intent with clarity and that comes through with the Natural Order. But I can see how one with a lower constitution could lose their mind when exposed to the world that is beyond them. So I am more sympathetic to the woes of Locke. It doesn’t preclude them from what they will have to face. On the contrary… Perhaps if I cleanse them they can go down a better path. One of sound mind.”

“That just leaves YOU.

[She growls a little at the next name.]

“Roland Gray. I’m sure you’re more than a little confident considering I’m in this match. I’m sure a lot of these participants are. A pity rematch some would say. Well, you of all people should know the worst animal you could confront is a wounded one. Or has that hunting skill grown dull, and you’re underestimating me because I’m a small lady.”

[She laughs a bit and stands up stretching looking at her claws.]

“So many people have made that mistake… Four will make that mistake as they wander into my hunting grounds. The Mighty fall, The Chef has his last meal, The Light Bringer fades to black, and The Hunter becomes the hunted. For the contract was their agreement to be judged by the rules of Nature by The Wolf. And they shall fail.”
