Judgment Wears No Cape

Reverend Ezekiel GravesEzekiel Graves, Promo

[The scene opens in the ruins of the Slums. Reverend Ezekiel Graves stands among the wreckage, the NXT Level Championship on his shoulder. The faint glow of firelight reflects off his face as he surveys the aftermath of his Disciples’ “cleansing.” His voice begins soft, almost reverent, but each word carries an unshakable authority.]

“Arcadia, do you see what lies before you? The Slums-a festering wound on the body of this city. For years, it has bred only despair, only sin. My Disciples did not come here to destroy; they came to cleanse, to bring light to a place long forgotten and yet, even as we deliver salvation, your so-called hero intervenes.”

[Graves turns to the camera, his gaze piercing as his tone sharpens.]

“Captain Arcadia. A name that drips with self-righteousness. You believe yourself a savior, a guardian of the weak. But let me ask you this: what is a hero to a harbinger? What is your shield when faced with the will of Heaven? You see, while you chase fleeting glory and cling to mortal ideals, I carry the weight of divine purpose. I do not fight for adoration, nor do I defend a broken level. I fight to judge it.”

[He takes a step forward, the flickering firelight dancing on the gold of the championship.]

“This title? It is not just a symbol of power. It is my mandate, a covenant binding me to His will. Every challenge, every defense, strengthens my resolve and deepens my connection to the Almighty. Now, at Forces of Darkness, you will stand before me, hoping to tear it from my grasp. But understand this: you are not fighting a man. You are standing in the path of Heaven’s wrath.”

[Graves pauses, his voice lowering to a near whisper, yet every word resonates with chilling intensity.]

“You call yourself Captain Arcadia, but what have you truly saved? The Slums remain broken. Arcadia remains lost. Your so-called heroics are nothing but a bandage over a festering wound. Meanwhile, I have come to purify, to strip away the rot and rebuild Arcadia in His image. You will not stop me. You cannot stop me.”

[He adjusts the championship, lifting it high as his voice rises with conviction.]

“At Forces of Darkness, it will not be a clash of hero versus villain. It will be heroism exposed for the fraud it is. Captain Arcadia, you may wear a shield, but I am the sword. You may inspire hope, but I deliver judgment. When you fall, Arcadia will see the truth: heroes do not save cities. Harbingers do.”

[Graves lowers the title, his voice soft but final.]

“Heaven is by invite only, Captain and at Forces of Darkness, you will find yourself unworthy.”

[The screen fades to black as Graves stands alone in the ruins, a figure of unyielding power amidst the wreckage.]
