Love

Love is a funny thing, you know?

It’s hard to describe to the average person let alone the sociopathic members of The Uprising.

Nox, you probably equate it to any other emotion, chemicals that can be concentrated and put in a vial to unleash a vast array of mental damage to anyone that breathes it in.

You think fear damages the synapses of the mind? Watch what love does to any so-called rational human being.

It will make a parent sacrifice themselves for their child.

The strongest people in the world will break the moment they lose it.

It will make people enact a permanent solution for a temporary problem.

You can bottle up your idea of love and there will be parts of it that line up with the real thing.

Fear? Oh it’s there.

Anger? When wronged by the person you trust the most, it’s definitely there.

Hate? Fine line between the two.

Here’s where it gets illogical and not even the best scientist can recreate it.

That person who can make some of your worst fears happen is also the person you put the most hope into.

The person who can make you the most angry can bring the most joy.

The person you grow to hate is the same person you grew to love.

Anything you’d try to create to replicate it would destroy a person’s mind instantly.

Ironically , the facsimile would break minds, love is what makes the broken feel whole.

Then there’s you Redgrave, you have an idea of what love is because you’ve seen the emotional mess you’ve left after your literal one.

Amy idea you have is merely a reflection of a person in grief.

If you knew what it was or felt it yourself, you wouldn’t be the artist you are today because trying to use the canvas and materials you’ve grown accustomed to would debilillitate you to a state of paralysis in your upper extremities.

Your fingers would curl involuntarily, you would be completely unavailable to grab your newest victim and any idea of a new masterpiece would disappear along with their life.

Love can make you kill, it doesn’t make you create with those who were lucky enough to feel it.

Why am I bringing love up instead of our match?

I want to make it clear that if it was logical, Zeus and I would no longer have feelings for each other but both of us still do and I need the two other men closest to me to understand love doesn’t need to make sense to happen.

You two need to understand that so I can trust you after what happened after Ring Of Dreams.

I can’t stop loving him but I’m also not going to stop this Uprising from taking power away from him.

I need to be able to trust you guys to still work with me, still go after our enemies, still fight for the justice we seek.

Just show me I can trust you more than I can trust my feelings right now.

While you’re not able to love, I want you to show our opponents you’re definitely able to hate.
