Namaste, everyone.

Welcome to my newest venture, BalenciYOGA.

In this room, we can leave all our concerns about the future or our anger about the past outside of these four walls.

You see, yoga takes you into the present moment, the only place where life exists.

In here, your mind can be free. In here, you can think about the things that truly matter, growth.

Now, a basic stretch. Simply, touch your toes for me to get a good idea of your flexibility.

Now while you do that, remember that yoga is not about touching your toes, it’s about what you learn on the way down.

Good, all of you have a good base, all but two of you, the nobody who looks like this is their first time trying to relax and the vengeance seeker so rigid in his ways.

It’s ok, some people have more stress than others, vengeance seeker, take a deep breath, good, inhale the future, exhale the past.

Try to stretch again, that is much better, when vengeance gives way to acceptance, we can let the weight of the world fall down our shoulders instead of feeling like you have to be burdened by it.

Nobody, look at me, true yoga is not about the shape of your body, it’s about the shape of your life. I can see in not just your limited mobility but your eyes, there is a lot of pain there.

Life is sharp and full of turns every day for you and every curve in the road of your life’s journey has been filled with pain. Your body is your vessel on this path and of course you’ve had an accident at every turn, you haven’t learned the first rule when you feel the vehicle sliding.

You don’t fight the sliding and slipping, you turn into the skid. If you respond to life naturally and let things happen instead of forcing life into the way you want it, it will be so much easier for you. Try to stretch again, I will help and push you but you have to let me do it, do not fight the pressure, do not resist the challenges.

Both of you got past the first step, now that you can allow your body to bend, you can allow your mind to bend. Now that you can bend, you can do yoga. Now that you can do yoga, you can do life. You can truly live and not fight everything that you interact with.

These lessons aren’t only applicable in these four walls, go out and live. If you can keep doing this, you can achieve anything. Keep bending and you’ll be able to handle anything. Keep fighting and eventually you’ll break.

When you bend and live and see how it leads to a better life, you’ll bend so much, you can stretch and grab anything. That’s when you can look up and be proud, until then you’ll be burdened by a past that can’t change and a future you’re scared of instead of excited by..
