The Gamble for Redemption

In Ezekiel Graves, Promo by Reverend Ezekiel Graves

The scene opens in the dimly lit interior of The Cornerstone Church. The atmosphere is thick with the sound of hymns echoing off the stone walls, blending with the distant hum of an organ. The camera moves through the shadowy aisles, finding Reverend Ezekiel Graves standing at the altar. In front of him is an old, weathered table, upon which sits a deck of playing cards, a pair of dice and of course a Bible

“Nox… A man who gambled with lives, poisoning and corrupting the souls of Arcadia. You turned your back on God’s gifts, placing your bet against the Almighty. But at Casino Chaos, the stakes are higher than you can imagine.”

[Graves shuffles the deck, the sound echoing in the quiet sanctuary.]

“Life is a gamble, Nox. Every choice is a roll of the dice, a turn of the cards. But when you gamble with sin, when you play against the Lord, you are destined to lose. You’ll place your final bet. But this is the Lord’s casino, and the house always wins.”

[He deals three cards face down, then turns them over, revealing three aces.]

“In this game, the deck is stacked against you. The odds aren’t in your favor, for you face not just a man, but God’s will. You’ve controlled others with your toxins, but in the ring, there’s no escaping divine judgment. Your cards have led you here, and now, you face the consequences.”

[Graves picks up the dice, eyes narrowing as he looks into the camera.]

“You’ve rolled the dice too many times, Nox. Each time, closer to the edge. Now, at Casino Chaos, you’ve rolled for the last time. The game is rigged in favor of the righteous. The Lord set the rules, and I am His enforcer. The outcome is inevitable-your sin will be purged.”

[He rolls the dice, landing on snake eyes.]

“Snake eyes … .The losing roll. The last gamble of a desperate man. Your poison will be your undoing, and the only prize you’ll claim is judgment.”

[Graves places the Bible next to the dice, his voice dropping ominously.]

“At Casino Chaos, the final bet is your soul. The dice are cast, the cards dealt, and the result is certain. You will face Almighty judgment, no mercy, no escape. The game is over, Nox, and the house always wins.”

[Graves stands over the table, dice and cards laid out in front of him as hymns swell. Black.]
