In honor of Ring King, I decided to branch out of the fashion world and extend myself to another fixture in life that shows off the inner you just as well as any wardrobe.
That is the furniture in your domicile. You know what they say, home is where the heart is and our heart is the muse to every part of our lives.
It shapes our personality, from the things everyone loves to the quirks that the best people in our lives love. That is why I introduce something that speaks to my heart in the most royal of ways.
Tonight, the queen presents the throne.
Inspired by our current event, our champion, and the life I’ve led to get here, the throne means a great deal to me but first I present the others Zeus had me create for every potential Ring King tonight.
First I present Gravedigger’s throne. An ode to his profession and those he assists. A throne of skulls that is linked by one continuous chain. The color gradually changes from a muted gray to an obsidian black to represent the fading of life but in a way that is not opulent. This is the throne of man that has risen from the ground up to be at the top.
Next is Felix Foley’s. This is a celebration of friendship and childhood. First, I made sure the focus was a throne made out of pure metal and cybernetic enhancements with the help of Doom. Thank you for your financial and technical contribution. As for childhood, the seat is made with felt as a way you can always feel the puppets close to you.
In a similar vein is Mr. Sunshine’s, his is devoted to pure optimism, something we so readily need in Arcadia. I made this out of the fabric of a chaise lounge so you can just back, relax and smile at the accomplishment you have earned. Colored in a yellow as bright as the sun, you can always bring light to your people.
Last of the contenders is Redgrave, his throne is devoted to his visceral art. It is made with the leftover skeletal remains from the skulls used to make Gravedigger’s throne. Adorned with sanguine blood collected off the mat. Nothing about this throne is comfortable, his art rarely is.
Were not finished yet though. While I was making these, I decided to come up with the magnum opus of the collection. The rest were built for possible kings, this is the one I spent most time on because it is made for a definite queen.
To start off it is a magnificent fuchsia, you know how I love my pinks. To keep it together is gold stitching to represent how many titles I have won. Lastly is all the names I have been called throughout my time here and the names of everyone I’ve demolished on my way to the top.
Why did I create this when I’m not even in Ring King?
This is the throne they’ll actually be fighting for when I’m done with you Thorpe.
No one wants to sit on that second hand chair of yours anyway.
