I think it’s time to watch the party die
This shit done got too wicked to apologize
It’s different, get him whacked and disqualified
It’s always fun times when you can get them, right? Sliding in, having fun, busting a move all night? Times like these call for that high life, rocking out and taking that edge away. But the undercurrent comes, threatening like a tide to sweep it all away.
What happens as the party dies, and those chains that got you bound bring you dragging down. Hands outstretched, eyes searching, lips praying as it all burns down, dancing away while the people go astray in a hunt for the true crown.
Why argue with these clowns if the circus is well at work?
Just walk that man down, that’ll do everyone a solid
It’s love but tough love, sometimes gotta result in violence
You’ve been caught up in a web of lies and bad deals, seeking your way out of a life that you put yourself into. Your strings are tangled by a new puppetmaster, who is unrelenting and uncaring as long as he can make you dance away like it’s nothing. Trapped, you’ve gone down darker and darker roads seeking a light that you won’t find hidden in an all hungering void. And at the end of it all, you’ll be left in the dark, floating down the Ferryman’s river.
I’m seeing ghosts, blackin’ out, relapsing one thought at the time
I spare no feelings that ain’t mine
When you get caught in those dark loops, trying to find a way out, it’s never easy. I’ve been there, pushing through dark and dread trying to see. Truth is in that? You gotta take that mask off, remove the blindfold and see who you are down beneath. Face that turmoil that creeps out underneath, find and take a day where you can dare to say “It is enough?”
Dear God, draw the line, they tryna confuse ’em with me
Dear God, please forgive me, you knowin’ how hard I tried
I think it’s time for me to watch the party die
You want that change, that chance in freedom? Then you gotta pay that pound of flesh. I went through hell and back, felt the fires that burned my bones down and rebuilt me into the hero that I am today. Gone is that capricious, care free Python of old. I left him back in the darkness of the world crumbling around me.
It’s love but tough love, sometimes gotta result in violence
If you parade in gluttony without giving truth to the youth, the graveyard is company
Just tell us what casket to choose
You want to get out of this Mighty? Take it from someone who’s been dragged into the dark like you are. There’s a long road of recovery ahead, and you still haven’t paid your dues in flesh yet. But you will. They always do.
It’s time to watch your party die, for good.
