One Week Ago.The sounds of sirens echo throughout the frosty New York City night as police speed through the streets, heading towards a location off in the distance.
At that location, The Butcher, accompanied by Sorrow and Voynich, panics.
He’s throwing things into a bag as quickly as he can.
“I don’t understand,” Voynich says, looking confused. “What’s going on?”
“I have a mole in the NYPD and he’s warned me that they’re coming.”
Darby and Voynich look at each other.
“I’ll explain everything, but I have to get out of this state before they capture me. Can you hear that?” He says to a pause, listening for the sound of sirens in the background. “They’re coming.”
All three immediately rush for the fire escape, dropping down into an alley. They storm through back entrances to buildings, blasting through kitchens and private back rooms before reaching a car park.
The sound of sirens doesn’t let up.
The Butcher breaks into a car by smashing through the window with his elbow. He opens the door and immediately starts hot wiring.
“What the fuck?” Sorrow queries.
“There’s a lot you boys don’t know about me,” he grunts, starting the engine.
With the car started, they carefully hit the road.
To be continued…
Backstage. As Sigil prepares for another night of defending his Championship, he stands alone in a room, stretching his arms. He knows that tonight, another three people will look to remove him from the competition.
When the door opens and a man walks in, it’s not someone Sigil expects to see.
It’s D’von Chambers.
“Young man, may I borrow a moment of your time?” He asks.
Sigil steps backwards and takes a seat.
“Time is worth a pretty penny,” he responds. “Fortunately for you, I have plenty of it at my disposal.”
Chambers carefully takes a seat next to him.
“I’m under the notion that you may be able to assist me in my endeavours. I’m searching for a way to bring Yahweh back from the dead – a resurrection of sorts.”
The Collector slowly turns his head to look towards him. If it wasn’t for the mask, you’d definitely see a face of confusion beneath it.
“A resurrection?” He queries. “Is that even possible?”
D’von nods.
“It is, in fact. I just need your help to do it.”
Sigil stands up.
“How could I possibly help you?” He growls. “The power in my possession will remain in my collection. I shan’t use it to resurrect your God.”
Chambers stands up to meet him, both of them now facing off.
“You don’t have the power in your possession to resurrect Yahweh, young man,” D’von retorts carefully, with consideration. “But you could lead me to it on your mission.”
The Tag Team Champion pushes up as close to Chambers as possible, staring him right in his eyes.
“No,” he almost whispers.
“Romans 6:8,” Chambers replies with eyes closed. “Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him.”
The Collector scoffs, stepping backwards towards the door and shaking his head. He grabs the door and opens it, pointing that way.
“Get out,” he demands.
D’von doesn’t argue or fight. He simply does as he’s told, stopping beyond the threshold.
“I will raise my Lord from where he lies,” The Preacher reminds Sigil. “Whether that means I go through you, or not.”
Sigil slams the door in his face.
Cut.
“There’s a book that exists with everyone’s name enscribed in it’s pages..””Along with their names, their pre-determined fate has been foretold within the contents of each page.”
“There are endless pages, but rest assured that each and every person that walks this earth, has a page.”
“Each person that walks this earth, has an expiration date.”
“Within the pages of this journal of death, each person’s fate has been written down. Each person’s death has been written.”
“Tyler Brooks being assassinated, Lance Norman being stomped out, even Doctor Deville’s head being bounced off the Toybox’s floor until it was a bloody mess.. it was all written in the journal long before Red Snow began.”
“The Death Note is a powerful tool at my disposal. Who am I?”
“Consider me the Author of Death for as long as this notebook is in my possession, I am the man that decides whether your time has expired.”
“I am the one that turns the pages. ”
“The Sandman, Pyre, Sweet Alice, Bishop, Sigil, Voynich..”
“All of you have pages. All of you are at my mercy.”
“Just like that, I could turn to The Sandman’s page and watch the remainder of his Championship reign play out to his death. Just like that, Jessie Williams’ would have the epiphany that if Sandy Rogers dies, so to, does his living Nightmare.”
“Or perhaps I’ll turn to Bishop’s page next. His page is an interesting one as it entails something unaccustomed to what we’re used to. Not only does his page end with his death, but it takes Banzan down a deeper, darker path, as he loses his inner peace and finally snaps Bishop’s neck.”
“Or maybe it’s The Reaper’s who page comes up. Another interesting one as in a fit of rage he manages to exact revenge on Monty Straight for taking his family, while committing suicide unable to bare the weight of life on his shoulder..”
“There’s one page that will not be turned. One page that doesn’t exist in this book.”
“My own..”
“While the Death Note is in my possession, there shall be no page with my destiny written on it. I am the almighty and immortal as long as this journal remains in my hands.”
“The God of the New World.”
“I am all powerful and immortal. With the knowledge that this book contains, I cannot be defeated. In knowing how each of you die, your weaknesses quickly become my apparent advantage..”
“Come WrestleHeroes, I will descend upon the OSW and cleanse the grounds of the Slaughterhouse from it’s false heroes. I will wash away all doubt and bring new hope to those who stand idly by waiting for a new deity to believe in.”
“A new chapter has begun.”
“One that I am the author of..”
“At WrestleHeroes, it could very well be you who’s page gets turned.”
“I may be your death note.”
Last night, The Reaper, Two-Face and Rune tried their best to infiltrate the top six and failed.Every Champion remains in possession of their belt and has returned back to the ring for another night of action.
Will they be able to see it through and make it to Night III, or will they succumb to one of the three latest entries in this…
Wrestle Heroes.
The arena plunges into darkness, only a single strobe light remaining to light up the entrance way in between vigorous pulses.
The build to “Unsainted” by Slipknot begins to play as a thick smoke crawls across the stage. As the guitars begin, Death Note slides out from behind the curtain and stands atop the entrance ramp, with his head lowered and his hair hung over his face.
The lyrics begin, as Death Note snaps his head backwards, peering up from side to side at the crowd through the flickering light before beginning his slow descent down the ramp way. He slithers under the bottom rope and crawls across the ring mat to his corner where he pushes himself into a Raven-esque sitting position against the turnbuckle, glaring across the ring.
Carry On hits the arena as the crowd begin to go wild for the classic OSW theme song. The Prince slowly opens the entrance doors and walks out onto the ramp, closing his eyes as he soaks in the cheers for a single moment, a slight smile and content washing over his face before he breaths deep, focus in his eyes as he rushes forward.
Jessie sprints up the ramp, releasing his boomstick just as he leaves the steel, gripping onto the top rope a good ten feet away and reeling in as he slingshots forward, flipping into the ring, and landing on his feet. Jessie fixes up his gauntlet for a moment before stepping into his corner, getting ready for the war at hand.
“Foreboding” plays and Corvus steps out into The Slaughterhouse. He points his arms to the sky then throws down two smoke bombs. When the smoke clears Corvus has disappeared. Cut to the ring where Corvus has taken a knee on one of the top turnbuckles. Another smoke bomb clouds the vision and when it dissipates Corvus is stood centre of the ring.
The bell sounds and this time, The Champions seemingly come together with an idea and they surround the three new entries.
Deathnote, Corvus and Jessie Williams quickly find themselves in the middle of the ring, back to back.
This isn’t how they thought Wrestle Heroes would go down.
Deathnote is the first to lunge, running through Sweet Alice with a Clothesline that breaks the circle immediately.
Pyre, Voynich, Sigil, Bishop and Sandman pile in to attack Williams and Corvus.
Only Corvus throws down another smoke bomb and vanishes from the fray, leaving poor Jessie to take the brunt of the beatdown.
As kicks pile in on the poor bastard, Deathnote returns, dragging Pyre away from the melee and DROPPING HER!

JUMPING ELBOW!
MURDER OF BLOWS!
SANDMAN DROPS!
Corvus though is quickly attacked from behind by Voynich who tosses him shoulder first into the corner.
Jessie Williams is finally back to his feet, groggy from that earlier beating and spots Sandman. He literally mounts him as quick as he can, delivering right hand after right hand.
Voynich is about to get involved but realizes what’s on his mind. He steps back and watches.
Sweet Alice is back up and likewise, from the other side of the ring – watches.
Before you know it, Jessie Williams is pounding at the face of Sandman on the floor in the middle of the ring and EVERYONE is stood watching.
“YOU KILLED MY FUCKING FRIEND!” Williams yells.
No-one dares intervene.
No-one.
Finally, Jessie gets off of The OSW Champion, his hands covered in teeth and blood, looking down at them in awe.
BUT THE SANDMAN SITS UP.
No-one can fucking believe it.
Jessie runs into a circle…

Jessie Williams is back to his feet, groggy and dazed, only to be grabbed by the throat by The Sandman.
The OSW Champion squeezes tightly before running him backwards and OVER THE TOP ROPE!
NO!!
NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
JESSIE WILLIAMS HAS BEEN ELIMINATED! THE FUCKING SANDMAN ELIMINATED HIM.
Is there no justice?
The fans hate it.
They’re booing like crazy but The Sandman doesn’t care.
Back inside the action and Bishop is struggling with Pyre, trying to throw her over the top rope but she’s hanging on for dear life. Deathnote comes to join in, hoping that together they can eliminate her.
ONLY PYRE AND BISHOP SUDDENLY DOUBLE TEAM HIM!
IT WAS A RUSE!
THE MINUTE DEATHNOTE CAME OVER, BISHOP STOPPED TRYING TO ELIMINATE PYRE AND THEY TURNED THE TABLES!
Deathnote is now hanging on for dear life!
Across the ring, Corvus nails The Sandman with a Spear and gets back to his feet to see Sweet Alice charging at him.

SURELY, HE WON’T RISK IT…
PLANESWALKER!

DROPKICK THROUGH THE CORNER ROPES!

ALICE PULLS HERSELF ONTO THE TOP ROPE AS HE DRIVES THROUGH THE CORNER, LEAPING DOWN ON HIM WITH A DOUBLE FOOT STOMP!
DOUBLE FOOT STOMP!
Alice rolls away to see that Pyre and Bishop, who’ve given up with Deathnote, now stand waiting.
They immediately rush for her, bombarding her with right and left-handed attacks.
Deathnote gets back to his feet, looking weary…
VOYNICH IS THERE!
SLICED BREAD NUMBER TWO!
THE EIGHTH WONDER!
HE NAILS IT! HE QUICKLY GETS DEATNOTE BACK UP AND TOSSES HIM OVER THE TOP ROPE!
Much like yesterday, all the Champions have survived so far! Can Corvus change that? Can Corvus eliminate someone to establish his place in the pile for Night III?
Voynich pops away from the elimination to see the aforementioned Corvus waiting.
He rushes forward and ducks underneath a Clothesline…
ZIG ZAG!
MARKED FOR DEATH!
This guy has some fucking moxy about him. He gets back up and walks unfortunately into The Sandman.
DEEP SLEEP!
END OF DAYS!
Elsewhere, Sweet Alice is being double teamed by Pyre and Bishop, who’re beating the holy hell out of her in corner. She’s busted wide open and bleeding profusely from the attack and there’s no-one to save her.
Pyre pulls her out and into a massive Body Slam.
Bishop runs in…
LEGDROP!
Suddenly, Sigil appears behind Pyre. He spins her around on a dime and throws her over the top rope.
She lands on the apron, barely hanging on.
Bishop is back up to attack, only SIGIL SENDS HIM OVER TOO!
BOTH OF THEM NOW TEETER ON THE RING APRON!
The Collector runs back into the ropes…

BISHOP AND PYRE CATCH HIM! THEY FUCKING CATCH HIM!
THEN TOSS HIM OVERHEAD!
The bell sounds and we have finally completed Night II of Wrestle Heroes.
Corvus, Death Note and Jessie Williams gave great accounts of themselves tonight but it wasn’t to be.
The OSW Champions are Champions for a reason and they hang on for yet another night.
Wrestle Heroes Night III is tomorrow night and who knows who that’ll bring to the table for an opportunity of a lifetime?
Whatever happens, the status quo remains.
The Sandman is the OSW Champion.
Pyre is the Double Feature Champion.
Sweet Alice is the Rewind Champion.
Bishop is the VHS Champion.
And The Collectors Edition retain the Tag Team Championships.
The only circumstances in which this list will not be stated is if someone is eliminated!
As it stands…
Our current OSW Champions are Wrestle Heroes.
