The biggest benefit that I have when it comes to what I do is my focus. Because if you fall prey to distractions with the volatile compounds I deal with a split second could be the difference between a perfectly mixed compound or Arcadia’s corpse clean-up scraping your remains off the walls off the walls. If you lack focus and fall to distractions, you can count yourself among those who are no longer breathing.
That’s how I view the people who surround me. Some of them make themselves into the biggest distractions in this world. They’re shaking hands being over-lax… hugging people. Or they attempt to distract those around them by seeking danger and showing the world how close they can come to the brink of death without tipping that scale. The only benefit we all get is that people like this often turn themselves into giant caution cones by their brightly coloured garb.
Isn’t that right, Charlie? You and Ms. Aurora seem to pride yourselves on being a distraction for the residents of Arcadia. And they say, I contribute to the death and suffering in Arcadia. Look what you do to them, you distract people from the reality around them. While someone is watching a rerun of your simpleminded show they could be getting robbed blind while smiling and grinning like an idiot. Because people like you and your daredevil friend drive the collective IQ of Arcadia through the floor.
That’s why my dream is to give everyone my level of focus united under the Nox Collective. Marching in lockstep, all determination, no more distractions. Every, single, one of them suffocated beneath the cloud. Brought to heel beneath my boot. Because in the end, everything dies. Even the hopes and dreams of two insignificant distractions such as yourselves.
Because that’s all you are distractions fruit flies buzzing around the sink of life. Nothing that will affect you but make you take your eye off the ball and I don’t concern myself with the ambitions of insects. But if you want to know who’ll be the one to turn you both from being distractions, forcing you to evolve from the insects that you are and bring you to focus… look no further, because it’ll be me, Sunshine! You and that bint friend of yours will be forced to breathe deep and drink deep from that very well!
Because I tire of distractions, so it is time to eliminate them. It’s time to bring these distractions in line. This shows that there are nothing but bumps in the road that only mildly slow the inevitable. It is time for you both to learn your place, which is beneath mine. As just a taste of my fumes is all either of you will need to find that place and when you do, you’ll fall in line like everyone else. At the end for all of these distractions, it will all end the same way… with me observing.
