“What if I told you I’ve been to the other side?”

[The voice of Jasper Redgrave.]

[He stands just a mere few feet from The Door.]

“What if I told you that I’ve seen the horrors that lie on the other side of this door?”

“Would you believe me if I told you that it’s not a place you want to be?”

[Redgrave paces forward.]

“There’s a world of chaos on the other side.”

“The very freedom that people such as Jackson Cade and Harold Attano have fought so hard for.. isn’t exactly freedom at all.”

“Life outside this door is mundane.”

“Lifeless lambs work for the man. They slave their days away and despise everything that they’ve been given.”

“They work their hands to the bone to achieve the basics. They slave over their own blood, sweat and tears for something as simple as a roof over their head.”

[Redgrave puts a palm against the door.]

“They walk on eggshells. They say that there’s such a thing as freedom of speech, yet should you say the wrong thing? All of your peers shun you. You become an outcast.”

“Everyone is offended by everything, and as such, you must look over your shoulder around every corner. One wrong move, and a full blown civil war could break out..”

[Redgrave shakes his head.]

“What if I told you that The Baron saved you from a life of hell?”

“He saved each and every one of us.”

[Redgrave pivots on his heels, his hands folding behind his back.]

“Inside Arcadia, we are free.”

“On this side of the door, we are free to live the life we want to live.”

“We don’t have to answer to a system of bullshit. We are in control of our own destinies.”

“We forge our own paths with our very own hands.”

[He paces from side to side as he speaks.]

“We’re free to say what we want. We can dress how we want to dress. If we have a problem with someone, we don’t have to run to our peers.. we settle it inside that squared circle.”

“We’ve been afforded the luxuries of freedom right here in Arcadia, and it’s a shame that some of us have seemingly taken that for granted.”

[The Killer King snaps to, eyes peering directly into our soul.]

“The Baron created an empire. A kingdom of freedom.”

“He saw the failures of the other side of this door, and he chose to protect his people from the tragedies that lie on the other side.”

“At Hounds of Hades, I stand to protect the life that we have.”

“I stand in the name of Arcadia.”

“And I will fight for the freedom that we’ve been given, right here.”

[Jasper steps to the side, his hand unfolding from behind him and extending towards the door.]

“I will do everything in my power to make sure that door remains closed.”

“For the sake of Arcadia’s freedom.”

[Redgrave storms off leaving us to stare at The Door.]
