Ascension #392

Quote from Reverend Ezekiel Graves on 19 September 2025, 22:52TOP THREE MOMENTS
1: The Gallery of Death: Jasper Redgrave is such a badass. That line “He grips Tombstone’s boot and begins dragging his limp, heavy frame across the blood-stained floor. ‘…our fun will last forever.’” just hit different. Like wow… what does he have planned, and how long can this go on? This could turn into a sick feud moving forward.
2: Watch Tower: Maybe I’m biased, but the writing here was incredible. It legit felt like a movie. I honestly wish this was a show I could watch weekly. If I can pump out promos even half as good as this, I’ll be happy because this storyline is epic.
3: By Any Means Necessary: Ares always delivers badass storylines, and now with Jackson Cade in the mix? That’s simply going to be fire moving forward.
BURNING QUESTIONS
- Is Destructo really free?
- What’s the full story behind Graves’ sister?
- Is Graves himself behind the kidnapping?
- What exactly does Jasper have planned for Tombstone?
MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK
Exile by Gemini: I really enjoyed this promo. Gemini, you’ve built such a great character, and this piece just shows how strong of a writer you are.
HAVE YOUR SAY
I legit love everything happening with Nero and Graves right now. The tag team name “The Brothers in Christ” is epic as hell.
And honestly, I really hope Graves isn’t behind the kidnapping… but if he is? OMG I’ll mark out so hard against him. How wild would that be?!

Quote from Destructo Boy on 20 September 2025, 02:55TOP THREE MOMENTS:
1. Just A Man. Just a truly brilliant character piece here for EMM. Through everything he's gone through, Death's betrayal, the demise of Vida, the Horsemen and the need to redeem himself through what happened, he's always had La Musica but now he's got nothing thanks to El Caido. Lost, confused, completely unsure of himself, the former Mariachi seems to be at rock bottom and I'm super intrigued to see how and if he manages to claw his way back out.
2. El Mariachi Grande. So Grande now is the Mariachi, with all the powers within him and it seems it didn't take long for it all to go to his head. Immediately wanting to be praised like a god and murdering anyone who refuses, this is absolutely setting him up as a possible world ender here and is it possible for anyone to even stand up to him now, let alone stop the Mariachi?
3. The Gallery of Death. So this always seemed like an obvious feud, the immortal scion of Death versus the sociopathic killer who revels in murdering people slowly and I'm so glad we got this before Volume 3 ends. Redgrave being a possible Hades fits perfectly as does Redgraves scoffs at the mere thought of Paradise after everything he's done and then the Axe hits. Jasper having a perfect victim to create his masterpieces in Tombstone is terrifying and I cannot wait to see what sick, depraved things the Artist has in store.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
- Can Harold finally get through to his daughter?
- Will Klaus force the matter through his abusive ways?
- Speaking of Klaus, what in the blue hell does he have in store for Arcadia with this new and improved Circus?
- Will Ares beat the leader into Jackson or will Cade keep refusing to be the leader they want him to be?
MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:
Gotta be Corrosion here. Frank has been on absolute fire since he came back and this was no exception. Beautifully constructed promo and adding in those hints of the changed Stubbins using the rage for those he cares about was just the cherry on top.
HAVE YOUR SAY:
We seem to be inching closer to a Pool Boys -1 reunion and I'm really all for it. James has been absolutely through the wringer and back these last few months with failure after failure and bombshell after bombshell planted on him so the fact that Felix is still there for him and saves him in the nick of time, beautiful story here and I'm hoping things start looking up a little for Destructo.
