Ascension #394

Quote from Jasper Redgrave on 17 October 2025, 10:49TOP THREE MOMENTS:
1. The Blood Canvas - Alright, I'm a homer here. Fuck it. I'll cover it below. 🙂
2. Roll Up! Roll Up! - This segment served two purposes. It closed one hell of a go home show all the while leaving a nice little taste of what's to come in our mouth.
3. Nothing - "But I am nothing, and he is everything." These words coming from a former World Champion speaks volumes. Man, EMM sure has been through a lot and it's apparent in those words. He's given up. It's beaten him down. Caido has a strong hold over EMM's confidence.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
What awaits us at Lost Tapes? What is Klaus' plan?
Is all hope lost for EMM?
Who are the masked men? Are they relevant?
Will Destructo ever listen?MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:
I'll be honest, I haven't read any promos from this past week. I used my time off wisely, trying to get in a bit of a refresh for myself.
HAVE YOUR SAY:
It was sick, twisted and a little eerie even. A nice monologue. I love this segment for a few reasons. One being that Jasper is an absolute mad man, we can see just how depraved this guy really is. But.. it also shows the resiliency of Tombstone. It proves that, just like Jasper has stated, that he will in fact keep coming back. He will suffer, but he will endure. The perfect canvas for Redgrave's work of art. I loved every moment of it.

Quote from Narcissa Balenciaga on 17 October 2025, 19:10TOP THREE MOMENTS:
1. Boundaries- Add another segment to the list of proff that Klaus is an absolute scumbag. At least when I thought Michaela was making the choice to distance herself from Harold, it was her decision, a heartbreaking one but hers. Now that I know Klaus forced her to put that wall up, its even worse and rooting for Attano full out in this show.
2. Nothing- What a way to focus in on Muerte's state of thinking right now. Chained up and interrogated is one way to make someone reveal themselves or at least mostly truth. There was nothing Muerte could give knowledge wise to Graves so he was useless to him, maybe as useless as Muerte feels but we have a hint of fight with that passing statement. The idea of nothing is strong here.
3. Roll up! Roll up! This makes perfect sense with the name of the event (Glad to see it makes a second appearance BTW did not expect that when I made the first show) The goons that have taken everyone away are part of the circus and we're all putting on a show for Klaus, I wonder how this will all turn out when people can get free.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
Is this all for one show or does Way want to do more with the Titans?
Will Michaela get to see her dad?
Does Zeus have anything to do with this show?
MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:
This week has been hectic due to my area's biggest event swamping us at the hotel, things will return to normalcy soon.
HAVE YOUR SAY:
Ah, it was a fake tape, makes perfect sense, way too easy of a slip up for Narcy to make. Narcissa did do something I really liked before being taken away. Showcasing how destroying evidence really just hurts Gemini's quest for innocence as opposed to protecting it. It really shows how willing Gemini is to destroy.

Quote from Destructo Boy on 17 October 2025, 21:05TOP THREE MOMENTS:
- Â Boundries:Â Man you can't help but feel true sorrow for poor Michaela here. Someone who tried to make the best out of a terrible situation only to realise she's in way over her head. Going from father to dad was a great touch here and man I'm so hoping that Harold can somehow find his way to save her...if he can survive whatever evil intentions Klaus has in his twisted show.
- Blood Canvas:Â Everytime I think Jasper has gotten to his peak as a twisted bastard he just rises further. The descriptions of how much he's tortured the unkillable Tombstone were sick even for Redgrave and the fact that there's no real purpose but because he can is maybe even worse. Top that off with Tombstone being stuck there when the masked men take Jasper, it's going to be good when these two get in that tent together.
- Roll Up, Roll Up:Â And we get the reveal, it was all for Klaus's sick and twisted magnum opus of a show. Brilliant ending here to setup Lost Tapes and we have to wonder just how vile a show Klaus has in mind.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
- How twisted and vile a show does Klaus have in mind?
- What will the backlash be for Klaus's actions from those who survive...if anyone does?
MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:
Yeah I'm going with the consensus here. Breath was again a brilliant promo by Hayden here, working the strength of Nox into his own weakness and doing so in his usual beautiful prose.
HAVE YOUR SAY:
Goddamnit kid, I swear you need to stop looking a gift horse in the mouth and just make up with Felix allready. Poor guy's clearly trying to help and James just can't move past his anger and grief to take that hand and once again, it costs him as he walks right into Klaus's trap.
Now trapped in a cage with his own devil, I do wonder if James will cross that line this time. Not that Nox doesn't deserve it but I don't think he could come back from doing what he thinks he needs, although given Felix didn't get captured, maybe it's the perfect opportunity for the dumbass to actually accept his uncle's help for once.
