Quote from Felix Foley on 23 September 2024, 20:56POP OF THE NIGHT:
A bit of a homer but Foley being Powerbombed off the cell and somehow getting off the stretcher and back into the match is epic mankind vibes for me. I popped so hard when I saw that wasn't how it was gonna end because a large part of me thought that'd be it right there. Don't get me wrong, it didn't improve for Foley by the end but he managed some offence that I think shows he's got a lot of fight left in him.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
- Who are the corporation?
- Can anyone stop Graves?
- What will Toy Stories be about?
HAVE YOUR SAY:
The storyline between Tombstone and Felix Foley continues to be an epic and I thought it was superbly advanced this week. The match was once again a demolition of Felix, which I expected, but the come back spots were another level of awesomeness that I didn't. I love the addition of Momma Foley to the story arc and the Vision segment leaves a lot of questions for me, as the does the news article on the main page.
That new layer in the Foley Diary segment has my mind racing about what this means for the creation of Foley or Albert and what truly transpired all those years ago. Could we learn why Fernicus was so abusive?
I'm so very excited about the future of Felix Foley and the feud with Tombstone that will come to a head sooner rather than later. Poor Felix has taken a real beating so far.

Quote from Gravedigger on 24 September 2024, 09:59POP OF THE NIGHT:
You know, I gotta agree with Foley that the Undertaker/Mankind vibe from the HIAC match was unbeatable and the pop I personally gave to Foley going off the cell is why I've gotta put it here. Felix is fast becoming one of my favorite OSW characters and this match solidified his status as the top underdog on the OSW roster.
I wanna desperately see him overcome Tombstone now and the story, as it opens up to those without prior knowledge such as myself, is really beginning to step into its own shoes and deliver.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
- What's the deal with Foley's conception?
- Who has Hatchet?
- Will Foley be able to compete at Vendetta?
- How will Paragon reveal the truth and how can EMM stop him?
HAVE YOUR SAY:
Man, I gave everything I could last week to try and pry that title from the grip of CJ Thorpe and came up short. I had a blast though, I really did. I didn't expect to win and was hopeful more than anything. I'm not sure I'm there yet in the world title scene, so I think losing this match as big as it was for me, is a great place to be for the future.
Gravedigger in storyline throughout the month was given depth and nuance. I couldn't have asked for anything more or better. Everything led to the match perfectly and the match itself was a real worthy Main Event. I'm extremely proud of my time here so far, and from where I've came to where I've gone and I'm really keen to see where I'll go.

Quote from Jasper Redgrave on 26 September 2024, 21:57POP OF THE NIGHT: ODE TO CHARON
FROM THE TOP OF THE CELL! I loved this moment, I thought it was over from here. But when Foley pulls himself back together and fights off the stretcher to return to the fight. That's what sold this entire moment for me. Huge attitude era vibes.. huge Mankind and Taker vibes as it was mentioned. Loved it.BURNING QUESTIONS:
- Can EMM stop Paragon from exposing the truth?
- Did Sunshine really just want to give Nox a hug, or is there something more to this?
- Will Destructo Boy "fuck off" after being tossed by The Gathering?
- Will Doom live to regret his decision?
- Who is the Corporation?
- What will happen to Hatchet now that he's been taken hostage?HAVE YOUR SAY:
I enjoyed the back and forth with Aurora. I thought that Jasper was portrayed really well, and I loved the overall vibe from him throughout the story. Very well written. Congrats on the win, Mikey.

Quote from Eclipse on 26 September 2024, 22:21POP OF THE NIGHT:
No weird, contrary choices from me this time - Foley vs Tombstone. Just because the parallels were obvious, that doesn't mean the callback moments to Mankind vs Taker weren't very much enjoyed! Tombstone looked unstoppable, Foley looked like one tough son of a bitch and the Momma Foley stuff just piled some extra intrigue on.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
- I know Foley is seeing everyone is puppets now. Is that why he reacted the way he did to his mum, or is there genuinely someone 'pulling the strings'?
- What will The House do to combat the Watchers? The first encounter had them on the back foot, and without some other kind of plan, they're up shit creek. Also, HOW does Paragon know all of this?
- How will Graves reconcile his beliefs with his actions being approved by seemingly the Devil himself?
- Will Captain Arcadia's prior rashness cause him to reconsider his approach?
- Sunshine seems to be back to normal, with none of the menace of the previous week. Was that just some unanticipated effect of the gas which has now worn off, or is there something more beneath the surface?
- Will Destructo continue to chase the Hatchet lead, and will the Corporation's betrayal lead to him flipping?
- What next for Doom now he's given up on his pursuit of vengeance? Will he help Foley against his own wishes?
HAVE YOUR SAY
As usual, completely on board with everything. There's still some mileage in the stalker story, Aurora played the desperate survivor well and now it just remains to be seen 1. Is Jasper finished with her? And 2. Who is the gosh darned stalker?

Quote from CJ Thorpe on 26 September 2024, 22:22POP OF THE NIGHT:
Weird choice maybe, but I think DOOM sparing TBM is my pop of the night. I wasn't sure how this whole deal was going to turn out, and the way it did was perfect. DOOM's been shown to be as powerful as ever, yet he has some humanity to him thanks to his friendship with Felix I think. Great character moment here.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
What is the Corporation going to do with Hatchet?
What the hell is up with Mr. Sunshine?
Man, not a question, but I love Paragon and can't wait for him and EMM to clash.
HAVE YOUR SAY:
Thorpe - Loved the match. Phenomenal job at weaving it all together. Narcy Doll wants her strap back, and I think the third clash with these two will be the best one yet!

Quote from Klaus Way on 27 September 2024, 01:26POP OF THE NIGHT: (What was the moment, in segment, that you enjoyed the most and why?)
I think the whole saga with Tombstone and Foley culminating with the segment after the match and the set up for Toy Stories - Tombstone has literally beaten him so badly he's seeing muppets. That not only sets up a great special show, it also continues this feud nicely. I loved the little nods back to the Taker/Mankind HIAC. They weren't too much but it was a nice throwback.
BURNING QUESTIONS: (What questions does the show have you asking after reading?)
- What are the next steps for Paragon and his associates? Are there more secrets that even we as the reader don't yet even know?
- What does Redgrave have in mind that made him use the term "heart-pounding"?
- Im interested to see how this interaction between Graves and Morningstar evolves. It is certainly interesting to see a guy who claims to be doing gods work and guy who claims to be literally satan in the same scene and appear to be closer to friend than foe.
- If Mr Sunshine is the anomaly, what is the difference that makes him so?
- What is the perfect red apple that is referenced in the diary? And what did Mama Foley tell him ringside?
- The Broker eh? Interesting.
HAVE YOUR SAY: (How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)
'Free to Go' was a bit of a weird one. It didn't really feel like the outcome of the match would have changed the story all that much, and it also felt a little rushed. Way suddenly deciding to give up the boy essentially because he can't be bothered with Captain Arcadia and his ilk getting involved doesn't really feel right. The writer of the angle did reach out and apologise which I appreciated - these things sometimes happen, I certainly wrote arcs that didn't hit as well as I'd intended when on creative, but it does leave me hungry to see what Way's first BIG story might be. I've enjoyed seeing the character work with Way so far in building this idea of him, but there's only so many times I can say that in feedback without it looking like I'm phoning it in lol.

Quote from Jackson Cade on 27 September 2024, 02:28POP OF THE NIGHT:
I have to give this to Tombstone vs Felix Foley. Every so often OSW recreates a famous moment from wrestling history in its own image and we finally got our Taker throwing Mankind off of the Hell in a Cell. Like, I really do think this is a moment that will live on in infamy in OSW history. I think whatever the fallout of this is, which we do know will be Lost Tapes, will be absolutely awesome.
The segment following was also awesome. The fact that Foley viewed his mother as a puppet by the end, while a nice hint towards Lost Tapes, has me absolutely pumped to see this story continue.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
- What did Mama Foley tell Felix?
- What's next for Paragon?
- What's going to happen to Hatchet?
- Who the hell is the Corporation?
HAVE YOUR SAY:
Jackson Cade: Loved everything about Cade and Thorpe this week. The match was fantastic right down to the double superkick ending. I'm pretty fucking excited to see what follows with Cade taking on Tombstone. And by excited, I do mean terrified with just how much of a monster Tombstone has been built up to be.
Hatchet: We got a temporary end to Hatchet and Destructo Boy for now it looks like. However, that leads us to Hatchet now becoming a hostage? I'm interested in where this is going because with how the Corporation member was described, I think these guys are more powerful than originally let on. Possible psychic powers? Access to what we can only believe to be a cell phone? Shit's getting weird and I'm loving it.

Quote from Reverend Ezekiel Graves on 27 September 2024, 03:01POP OF THE NIGHT: VISION
First, I want to say it’s super cool to have my character referenced in what was such an amazing match between Tombstone and Foley.
The powerbomb off the cell was super sick, but the moment shared between Foley and his mother was incredibly touching.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
- Why hasn’t Graves been arrested yet for all the murder? Haha
- Why the sudden change of heart from Doom?
- What will happen to Hatchet?
HAVE YOUR SAY:
My OSW journey is going way different than I first imagined. I’m not here for wins or losses, but to have my character portrayed as dominant is a huge honour. There are so many talented writers here, and to be on the streak I am is amazing. I’m super pumped to see where this goes. I was legit bummed about what happened with Conway. I felt there was more to come but I’m excited to see where things go with Nick Morningstar.

Quote from Destructo Boy on 27 September 2024, 03:23POP OF THE NIGHT: So I am absolutely going to be a contrarian here. The Foley/Tombstone story was fire tonight but every so often we have a segment that intrigues me. Something hints at something much bigger, and although it seems slightly lesser in scope, it's absolutely the beginning of something huge. One of those segments I'll speak on a little later and the other..the other is Watching Me, Watching You. I get mammoth Anonymous vibes from Paragon but I also kinda get Informer vibes from him. An inquisitive mysterious figure searching for the truth and being a mammoth target for those in charge who might want secrets to stay secret. Informer didn't last long but I'd argue his very existence and the dominos his death toppled over had years of ramifications for OSW from the Tap Room all the way to the end of Part 2.
Now I don't think this story will last five years, but these secrets that Paragon keep, the ones that Zeus wants silenced, the ones that Mariachi may well want to know, once they come out in whatever way are going to have huge consequences for what remains of Part 3. As much as I love the big moments, I pop more for the segs that show hints of big moments to come and mark my goddamn words, this whole story there is going to be huge in the future.BURNING QUESTIONS:
- Will Muerte find out the secrets Paragon keep and will Zeus be able to silence him and his legion before it's too late?
- What is the relationship between Graves and Morningstar and will this evolve into a rivalry or a deadly alliance?
- If Sunshine is an anomaly, what exactly is he and why is he seemingly the only person immune to Nox?
- What exactly is in the rest of that diary and what was that red apple that Fernicus found in his store?
- Can DOOM actually forgive and forget or will he simply turn his rage onto the monster that hurt his best buddy?
- Will the Cade Brothers be able to do what they did tonight at Ring King or will the House finally win?
HAVE YOUR SAY:
Well fuck now it gets juicy. Not surprised Hatchet didn't spill the beans, giving the kid another ass beating before sending him on his way but now we get more of the Corporation and seems the big Broker has himself some psychic powers. I have this feeling this isn't over by far here and it'll be curious to see if Hatchet is going to be in need of a hero this time, maybe with a temporary alliance with Boy and the Gathering possibly? Either way, this is absolutely just starting up and I cannot wait to see what happens next.
