TOP THREE MOMENTS:

(Three moments of the show that stood out to you and why.)

  1. the reveal that emm wasnt there to be ferried was a pretty big one. i just thought that emm bein dead was just a done deal, but its made everything all the more interesting that he isn’t outta here yet and someone specifically made him not die. i cant wait to see how this develops in the coming weeks.
  2. grimskull replaying the events of drewitt letting gemini was dope. i was curious about how he might find out that happened or if he ever would but this is much more interesting than anyone i coulda imagined. im not sure how this will go down either way between grim, drewitt, gemini etc, but it should be a good time watchin it all unfold.
  3. ezekiel aligning with the preservationists and the manner in which he did it was a big moment. it really presented him as a force to be reckoned with here in osw, which he absolutely is. its been very one sided i would say with whos been dictating what side and with any more major additions, the preservationists may be truly unstoppable.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

(What questions has the show left you with?)

how are the seekers going to tip the scales back in their favor?

who attacked capt arcadia and destructo?

what happens with ayame now?

whats grimskull gonna do about this gemini/drewitt situation?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

i enjoyed whatever the weather. the idea executed in the promo was base and right to the point and it progressed nicely from beginning to end.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

(How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)

i do think its cool with the courses segments thats been set up and running with cade and the preservationists. very cool for anton to have his hand in this in some capacity. other than that, the kaos match went very well for him as well. i took a risky shot i thought with my tiers promo but i was happy with it in the end. cant wait to see what happens next with anton/this civil war story.

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

1. Bully- a great intro to get us all hyped for the show, a great way to highlight the Seekers and sending it to the arena as a way to show the rambunctious crowd. A fun way to listen the show and one of those I could picture Laner reading with the music in the background.

2. Death of a wolf, this has me really curious for what this means for Ayame. We have a new dragon princess and I'm curious what that will look like and what this luchador court means.

3. Kaos- the match itself. Of course, as a champion, I was scared/excited to see what happened but it just a great match to read. For all the great action, if you told me that every title would stay in the defenders hands I would not have believed you. I expected at least one shuffling but it's kind of awesome it fell that way.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

Where is Muerte?

What will the dragon princess look like?

Can Graves do what champions couldn't?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

Tiers by Anton Savor, I thought we had a new world champion when I read it. I enjoyed both Sisyphus and Tiers but I thought Savor had the edge with a clever way to use his character and a very well written promo at that.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

Not much with Narcissa until the very end. Great writing for her in the match, some fun smart ways to keep her in and get some time to shine. As for the last segment, obviously Graves the focus in the segment but I loved the little smirk Narcissa had, things are going her way and she's not going to hide how she feels.

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

(Three moments of the show that stood out to you and why.)

  1. Death of a Wolf. Beautiful writing here with a victory that seems almost bitter sweet for Caido, almost like he wanted Ayame to beat him and not have to sacrifice herself to this new masked rebirth. Amazing stuff here and I'm super intrigued to see what the new Ayame Dragon Princess is going to become.
  2. The Thought That Lingers. I'm a sucker for this slow burn introspective scenes, where someone slowly figures out something that changes everything and Grimskull realising what Drewitt did or at least what he thinks he did, great stuff here and very clearly leading to something big between the pair that I'm super hyped for.
  3. The Night Belongs. It kinda has to be here, the big reveal of the full teams of Preservations and the Seekers alongside the seeming ace in the hole for the Seekers and then BAM fucking swerve and Graves is the Preservationists last man. Amazing go home segment here that's absolutely straight out of the Attitude era and it absolutely still looks like the Seekers are up shits creek still against the Preservationists and I cannot wait to see what happens next.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  • What happens next with Ayame? Is she going to accept being the Dragon Princess or is Caido going to continue to have a fight on his hands?
  • How in the hell did Muerte survive being ferried? What exactly is going on and how deep down the rabbit hole is Drewitt going to have to go to uncover some truths that maybe should stay buried?
  • How will the Preservationists bounce back from the Graves swerve? Can they even fight back with the numbers still being against them?

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

It had to be Sisyphus here, Daws has been on absolute fire as of late and this was no exception. Amazing promo, beautifully written and tied together so well it was absolute perfection. Amazing job there this week.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

Well fuck I was half right, seems that this may be a Kingdom 3.0 (that we know of) coming around to get Arcadia and Destructo's just caught up in it...or maybe not? The attacks seemed driven at him too so it's very possible that both men are equally in danger here and despite Destructo wanting nothing to do with Cap, he may well need to do some heroics to save his own skin here. Highly intrigued to see more of what these masked men are and if they are the Kingdom 3.0 or something else entirely.

TOP THREE MOMENTS:

(Three moments of the show that stood out to you and why.)

  1. He's Gone/Find Them. You know me, I do love a lil mystery! I had no clue it was El Mariachi Muerte, such was how convinced I was that he was dead, so may have marked out a lil at the eventual reveal! In it's place is a new mystery though - I can't figure out if Caido was checking the throat wound for a pulse or if he somehow magically GAVE El Mariachi the heartbeat. Also, does him 'staying gone' mean staying in an unconscious state? Does it mean adopting a new identity? I dunno! I like not knowing.
  2. Third Course. As someone else said, flipping them off was a badass, Stone Cold-esque moment that just made you wanna root for Cade. And wouldn't you know it, he stomped a mudhole and walked it dry! The Preservationists took their best shot and missed, and Ares has to be fuming.
  3. Death Of A Wolf. Ayame being treated with such reverence by the council members makes me feel there are MASSIVE plans for the new Dragon Princess... Plans that Caido doesn't seem 100% on board with given his words when he placed the mask on her. I just look forward to seeing what those plans are, and what direction Ayame goes in from now.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  • Jackson believes the footprint at Thorpe's grave was his - but was it?
  • Will the Seekers coming out of hiding so soon bite them in the butt?
  • Can Graves pull off what the other Preservationists combined couldn't?
  • What happened with Gravy and Tombstone, and is Calypso still in that particular picture?
  • What next for poor Mr. Sunshine now he's lost the children :'(

MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:

I'm sorry, hardly read anything - sick for the third week running and still without a laptop, so I've been a grumpy, low-energy twat.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

I'm interested in what goes on from here - in a way I'm kinda glad I continue to team with Bryno, he's been an absolutely lovely chap throughout this, so wanna see what we can make of Chemical X. Furthermore, interested to see what backlash Eclipse (and the rest of the Preservationists) face from Ares for their failure to take out Cade.
