The soft piano line of 'Lost' by Red begins to play and the lights around the Slaughterhouse darken, a purplish tinge of UV light illuminating the room. A single spot light scans the introduction plays. When the song erupts into a wall of sound, Lux emerges on the balcony, head bowed and wearing a white hooded cape while the lights around the Tap Room flash and strobe. With his head bowed, the white cape shines brightly in the UV light of the entranceway. He makes his way towards the entranceway ramp, tossing off his white cape as the chorus sings out 'Lost in You...'
At the top of the ramp Lux drops to his knees, making the sign of the Catholic Cross over his head, chest and both shoulders before descending to the ring. Lux enters via the steps, wiping his feet on the apron before flipping over the top rope. He then makes his way over to his corner, where he sits, head bowed in silent prayer.
BIOGRAPHY:
Lux Bellator a masked, nameless wrestler. His true identity is hidden behind the veil of a mask and little is actually known about the warrior himself. His name is drawn from Latin (the official language of Vatican City), translated to "Light Warrior".
TRADITIONALLY - THE LUX OF OLD (Entrance Music - All the World is Mad / O Come Emmanuel by Thrice/Enya)
Bellator's mission was initally simple, spread the light of the gospel into the darkness, at all costs, by any method necessary. this is no street-corner evangelism. He fights with a hard-hitting MMA style, mixed with elements of luchador. Bellator's mission was initially one of war - If you are not walking in the light, then you hide in the darkness. His mission is to drag people, one by one, kicking and screaming, into the light of God's path. His once mentor, Father El Salvador, had a more hard edged approach to this mission that Lux was willing to abide by. Inevitably, the pair came to blows and Lux moved on from El Salvador's teaching. He now stands alone, paving his own path into the light - this decision ultimately led to Father El Salvador's downfall, and to the addition of a new ally, his brother in arms, Lazarus.
THE TORCHBEARER (Entrance Music - HOLY by Mariachi El Bronx)
Lux is the new testament to Lazarus's old testament. Lux's message of light has gathered quite the following – followers known as the Torchbearers. His main message behind the "torch" is that of FORGIVENESS, ACCEPTANCE and LOVE. He believes to his core that everybody can be saved – sometimes people must be broken down in the grace of God in order to be rebuilt in his love. All people can be forgiven if they turn to the light.
Those that turn to the light are then charged with the mission of holding their torch high to spread this message to others, no longer are the days of Pedro El Salvador, where righteous judgement was the message of the day. This is a new era - receive the light and pass it on.

Due to the nature of his mission, Bellator has become nameless. His true identity matters little, his name and previous life have all been sacrificed in the name of God. Bellator is the symbol of light and hope in the darkness, a lighthouse in the sea of sin.

Becoming increasingly frustrated with man's failure to repent and the utter darkness that he faced in his attempts to lead his Torchbearers, Lux Bellator embarked on a mission to bring about God's will and judgement to the Earth. This culminated in the breaking of seven seals, each filling a bowl and unleashing an aspect of God's wrath upon OSW. The seventh bowl resulted in the birth of Noah... Bringing about the beginning of the end. Lux remains faithful to his God, the God of light. His message is simple. Follow the light or walk in darkness.
