Ring King XI

Quote from Anton Savor on 5 September 2025, 05:45TOP THREE MOMENTS:
- the night winning ring king was my top moment this show as well. it isn't that i didn't believe it could be done but the field was so incredibly stacked, with some guys whove been on some pretty crazy runs in their own right. so i wasnt too sure how it was gonna pan out but in the end, the night showed up and did his fuckin thing. so major respect and props to damo for pulling this out. hard earned and very well deserved broski.
- game over was a big one. i mean who the hell just got shot? who did the shooting? and what was this conversation about that they were having? cant wait to find out more about this in the coming weeks.
- it being revealed that doom is actually destructo's dad is not something i coulda ever imagined their situation going. but im a big fan of how absolutely vile nox is/has been, with him threatening to do real crazyy shit unless doom lays down for him. cant wait to see how that'll play out next week, cause im sure it wont be that easy right?
BURNING QUESTIONS:
is doom gonna lay down for nox?
how much does everything change for emm?
who are the people in the game over seg?
why doesnt ares want slade in osw?
where does sunshine go from here now?
is zeus done for?
MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:
definitely agree with everyone about king of bones being great but i did also enjoy gemini's entry as well. it was a fun read i thought from beginning to end.
HAVE YOUR SAY:
shiet man. wasnt able to get the job done for the osw but i enjoyed myself with writing for this week nonetheless. valuable experience i believe that can only help me in the future for when i might get another stab at it, or just experience that can just help me improve in general. cant wait to see whats next for anton tho, been a crazy year so far for my guy. ready to finish it out strong.

(Three moments of the show that stood out to you and why.)
- ... DAMO!!!!!!!!!!! - my boy! I've never actually been happier or more excited for a Ring King result. It actually brought an empathetic tear to my eye seeing that chat go off in the live stream. You deserve this mate, and you wrote some awesome promos to get here. Keep it up mate!
- ... A LIFE OF LIES - This packed one hell of a punch as a segment. Destructo has lost everything. Everything at all that worked against him earlier in the night seemed to work itself out to lead here. He lost Michaela (which he never actually had anywhere but in his own mind), he lost his title. He lost his parents.... and now, boom, a bag over his head. An emotional segment that sets up one HELL of a reveal later.
- ... GAME OVER - I love this. The description, the setting, the mystery. The shot heard, the voice that we don't know. WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?!
BURNING QUESTIONS:
(What questions has the show left you with?)
- Where is Muerte left now? He's a normal bloke, without song or power. Just a man, what does that mean for him?
- Who was shot in Game Over?
- Nero's wife is Grave's sister? That I never saw coming actually!
MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:
(Which promo was your favourite of the week?)
The right choice is King of Bones for obvious reasons - Damo has absolutely slayed this cycle's writing, and written probably his best work ever. Neatly packaged, well dissected and brilliantly executed. Awesome stuff man.
I'm also going to give some love to THE EXPERIMENT OF EMOTION by Doom.
This is the Doom I love. Taking the idea of emotions themselves, pointing out how each of his opponents are governed by a particular emotion but then twisting that so beautifully. That emotions are unevolved, flawed. The true Scientific process is devoid of emotion, and he executes that so nicely. Beautiful writing.
HAVE YOUR SAY:
(How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)
SUNSHINEOhohohohohoho! After everything that we've seen Sunshine go through, everything his brain has been put through... What's the thing that tips him over the edge? His show being cancelled.“Cancelled…?”
Slowly, he turns to her. Smile twitching. One eye wide. The other glassy.
This... There's soooo much just in this.
He’s still smiling. But something behind his eyes is gone.
I have my suspicions, but I'm not divulging anything in here haha. Suffice to say, dododododo... I'm lovin' it.
EMM
Muerte didn't have the power after all. The music, silenced for him. That in itself has got to create an identity crisis. Does this mean he is without song? What purpose does he have without his music, without his power?
I love this almost as much as I love the rest of the segment - that he's earned the respect of Caido... and how devastated he is that he failed Vida.
This is a man breaking right here and it's one HELL of a segment.

Quote from Destructo Boy on 5 September 2025, 09:22TOP THREE MOMENTS:
(Three moments of the show that stood out to you and why.)
- It can't be anything but The Night winning Ring King here. Damo put out an all timer performance here for an incredibly well deserved victory and I am so incredibly proud of him for winning that crown. You mammothly deserve this win buddy and I'm absolutely rooting for you to take home that gold
- By Any Means. There was a curiosity if anything had changed in Zeus since the explosion and his near death and now we have the answer. The once unkillable God is on borrowed time and his need for Jackson to take the throne makes all the more sense. I shudder to think of what Ares is going to do to Jackson to try and get him ready and what happens if Jackson refuses.
- Hades. Well fuck was this an ending and I'll admit, a little bit of a historygasm for me as anyone who knows anything about OSW lore knows that an evil bastard that breaks a few seals is an old reacurring big bad in several volumes. Whether he goes by Hades, Noah or Lucifer, this is something fucking huge and with this incarnation allready hiding somewhere in Arcadia, it's going to be a mammoth capper for these next few months and a big final foe for Tombstone.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
- Who murdered the bagged man and what exactly was the plan that's clearly been set in motion?
- Has Michaela truly fallen under Klaus's spell or is there some hope that she can be free?
- Will Muerte be able to gain back what was taken or is he stuck in his mortality?
- Will the Night...will Peter ever be able to forgive Attano and Gemini?
- Who has Ezekial's family and is it his long lost sister and Lucien's wife?
- Why shouldn't Slade be here?
MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:
King of Bones was a phenomenal piece by Damo, well deserved for the Ring King crown there
HAVE YOUR SAY:
So...that could have been a better week for Destructo. Not only does he lose his NXT Championship, not only does he lose any hope of the girl and watch her walk away a failure, but he's kidnapped by Nox again, and shown the truth rather violently as his real dad is revealed to be Stubbins Doom.
I said this in the chat but I absolutely love this so much. I didn't see it coming but in hindsight, it makes pretty much their entire story together perfect and gives everything so much more context and depth to an allready amazing relationship. The immediate relinquishing of the belt by Doom too felt like such character growth for someone who even six months ago would've let James die without hesitation and I'm so looking forward to what happens next here, the interactions between James and his real dad and what direction this goes heading into Red Snow.

Quote from Narcissa Balenciaga on 5 September 2025, 09:51TOP THREE MOMENTS:
1. The Night winning Ring King, this was probably the most I've popped for a match result that wasn't my own. Damo winning something so big in OSW just feels good, I'm so happy for the guy and I can't wait to see what happens from here with such a big win and the momentum that comes with it.
2. Game Over, this segment is mystery incarnate. Outside of a vague plan that apparently was successful, there's not much to go off of outside of it being a man shot. We don't even know the gender of the killer. I'm so damn curious about all of this and I love a mystery like this. It's the sort of segment I read multiple times trying to decipher clues from.
3. Never Enough plus Life of Lies, damn you have to feel for Destructo here, his whole world is falling apart, past and present, external and internal. He lost his title, a chance at saving the girl, and most of all, his identity. Then to top it off, he gets black bagged and kidnapped? What is going to happen to him and is it any worse than his life anyway?
BURNING QUESTIONS:
Who took Destructo Boy?
Who was shot in Game Over and who shot the gun?
How bad is Michaela's Stockholm Syndrome?
MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:
King of Bones, good shit Damo, I don't know what got into you this month, reminds me of how Ring King has been for me before, you've crushed it week after week here this month and it culminated in the best this week. I'm hoping we get a Night as last champion of Vol 3 now.
HAVE YOUR SAY:
No more Sunshine Club due to it being a crime scene now but what happens from here after he got the win? Is that revenge enough for him and both go their separate ways or do we see the dark spiral as Sunshine goes away and the real person underneath reveals himself and shows he wants much more revenge on Narcissa?

Quote from Wolf Fang Ayame on 8 September 2025, 15:08Top Three Moments:
1. Game Over: Fucking mysterious piece. and a wonderful hook. What does it mean. Who Died? All questions that linger.
2. By Any means: From the setting to Zeus himself there's a finality of everything falling apart which is kinda interesting and I do like the mirroring of it all. and leaves some uncertainty.
3. Family Matters: It is a very Tangled web that has been weaved in between Nero and Graves. And it's extremely compelling.
Burning questions:
Will doom lay down for Nox?
Who was shot in Game Over?
How much time does Zeus have left?
How will this Revelation affect Graves and Nero?
Favorite Promo:
King of Bones, standard choice but to win a tournament like this you really do gotta go all out. And Mission accomplished with a great character piece that ties everything back to what continues to drive your character forward.
Have your say:
I really enjoyed Wolf Fang's treatment over the month that I was missing. and in this specific show I really have been loving the mix up with arcadia. It seems she cannot catch a break with people.
