Quote from Jackson Cade on 7 February 2025, 03:45TOP THREE MOMENTS:
- I really loved War Room. I love the civil war storyline so I really like seeing these kinds of segments that push that thought to the forefront. More importantly, it planted a lot of seeds. Like what that chemical Nox is working on happens to be, as well as setting up the Golden Ticket angle to be paid off later in the night...
- With Golden Tickets. This is a very interesting idea to get people into Invasion. Recruiting them through bribery with the promise that they'll get a possible title shot to Invade with at any time is a strong motivator. Though I have to wonder if this will backfire on them depending on who gets their hand on that case, and who else gets an invite to that match.
- Lastly I have to give love to Sinon. This segment might have been my favorite of the night because it really lends itself to the feeling of a wartime drama with how the initial part of the segment is set up. Following with that terrifying scene in the medical tent and the Trojan message and you have a plot hook I'm going to be begging for information about plenty in the next few weeks.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
- Who, or what, is this Trojan?
- Who did Narcissa take from The Night?
- Who else might get a Golden Ticket?
- What's next for Mighty Mighty?
- Is Tombstone going to possibly side with the Seekers?
MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:
I already told him, but I loved A Little Cockroach Problem. I think the theme itself was really well done and connected it to Jackson and his storyline thus far. Fantastic piece of writing.
But, I'd also like to say I think Turn Out the Lights was a really solid promo as well.
HAVE YOUR SAY:
Jackson Cade: Finally, Cade can get his hands on Jasper Redgrave. I've been waiting for these two to finally fight again and the final segment of the night was absolutely fantastic. Can't say much more than that, I'm always hype to see Cade and Redgrave return to their feud.
Ajax the Adonis: Now this was really interesting. We're getting a good bit of insight into the past of the circus and I'm interested in what Klaus was like as a child. Him tormenting the freak show is an interesting bit of information and I'm excited to see more of the upbringing of Ajax and the rest of the Circus members.

Quote from Harold Attano on 7 February 2025, 04:32TOP THREE MOMENTS:
(Three moments of the show that stood out to you and why.)
- The Marvelous Milo Way, so this is where Klaus gets his psychopathy. He had a raging asshole of a father who protected his son and didn’t correct him from torturing those around him. Honestly, it’s good to get some background and insight into Klaus.
- Sinon, what the fuck, just this whole thing was scary. Then the thought of a Trojan in the Seekers gives me a scare too. This is honestly horrifying in the sense of this whole story from the Seeker’s side.
- Justice, HE’S BACK TOMBSTONE IS BACK! The Already Dead coming through the crowd looking for his own Justice. I cannot wait to see what happens next and what Tombstone has to say to Gravedigger.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
Who’s the Trojan?
What will Tombstone do to Gravedigger? Hell what will he do to Igor Mortis?
Who else is going to get a Golden Ticket to Invasion? Will Zeus continue to use them as bargaining Chips?
MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:
(Which promo was your favourite of the week?)
Uno, I have to give it to the well-formed promo of my fellow Brian. I love the analogy of Uno and framing it around the “Wild Card” Klaus Way. Always an honor to roleplay against you, my friend.
HAVE YOUR SAY:
(How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)
Attano: It always stings to come up short for the World Title but Brian put up great work and I can’t say it wasn’t better. It was more focused and had great layers to it. I am wondering what Harold’s reaction to the Sinon/Trojan situation will be and how it will affect him.
Nox: Well, I dropped the ball here by forgetting to work with my partner and I’ll take full responsibility for our loss this week. As far as character work goes, I wonder what Nox is working on chemically, and could it be something in the tickets, maybe, just a thought.

Quote from Jasper Redgrave on 7 February 2025, 04:38TOP THREE MOMENTS
War Room - I loved the look inside the War Room and how this set the pace of the night. It was clear that a statement needed to be made here and now when it come to the Preservationists, and seeing The Baron try to set that in motion to start off the night was a very nice touch.
Golden Tickets - I always like to see how the Invasion match begins to take form and there's some interesting faces being given a chance this year!
He's Not Heavy, but He'll Weigh on You - It was always going to happen, but looks like Jackson may be ready to come for vengeance after his brother was murder at the hands of the Killer King. Another chapter in an epic saga.BURNING QUESTIONS:
- Who did Narcy take from The Night and is it someone we've known from the past?
- What's the next step for Nero?
- Who could be referred to as The Trojan?MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:
To Live - A very solid written piece by Dawson this week.
HAVE YOUR SAY:
Cade seems to be coming after Jasper and the OSW World Championship. I wonder how Jasper will respond after that closing segment next week? Is Jackson biting off more than he can chew? Is this not exactly what Jasper wants from him?

Quote from Eclipse on 7 February 2025, 06:07TOP THREE MOMENTS:
- ... Sinon. We've established I'm a sucker for the segments from the Civil War anyway, but this one feels like it has far more ramifications than the others thus far. Throw in the 'Trojan Horse' fitting in perfectly with the Greek mythology theme of this volume and bam! Good times. A lot of intrigue... Now, will it be the obvious of the injured guy who was taken in, or will it actually be someone else responsible?
- ... Justice. I mean come on, who DOESN'T wanna see Gravy Baby vs Tombstone? Tombstone making his first in-the-flesh appearance since his death is a big deal in and of itself considering what a beast he's been, and hoo boy would I not wanna be in Gravedigger's shoes.
- ... Totally biased, but getting the Golden Ticket. Granted I don't fancy my odds, but I've never won an Invasion match (or any yearly staples except the rumble back in OSW) so I'm very much looking forward to the opportunity!
BURNING QUESTIONS:
- What fresh hell is Nox gonna unleash? I'm assuming some sort of 'compliance'/mind control based gas, but that begs the question of if it will work as planned. Alternatively it could be a 'this will fuck you up, join us for the cure' type deal. Curious as to what the specifics are!
- Will there be consequences for Red backing out of his arrangement with Mighty Mighty? Also, to what lengths will Mighty Mighty go to escape his contract, and will Klaus and the circus try to put a stop to it?
- What are the secrets Nero is hanging over Graves, Red and Mighty's heads?
- Who was the member of the Uprising that The Night had links to? I'm starting to think maybe it has nothing to do with Paragon since he wasn't a member.
- The Marvelous Milo Way. So obviously Klaus's dad was a colossal shitlord, but what happened to him, and does it connect with Zephyr's murder?
MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:
Sorry, I hardly read anything this time around.
HAVE YOUR SAY:
Not much character-wise to work with, but that's ok - it was secondary to the story of the Invasion participants, and Eclipse being the Preservationist's 'inside women' is an additional wrinkle to it that has me even more interested in how events will pan out.
Also, big congrats to Ayame/Wasabi for the win! Great to see your hard work paying off (even if it is at my expense!)

Quote from Captain Arcadia on 7 February 2025, 20:43TOP THREE MOMENTS:
(Three moments of the show that stood out to you and why.)
- Justice takes the cake for me, because what a hell of a return for Tombstone. Gravedigger has Cade in his hands, the fuckin shadow and theme hits, and it's suddenly the return of the OG, coming back for his title. What a fuckin pop.
- Sinon got me curious with the hook it gives. Someone has gotten in behind the Seeker's lines. A Trojan in the midst of all of them there. I'd say the work is Jasper Redgrave's, but there's no way he could get past the lines, even if pretending to be injured. But this now? It's the beginning of something fantastic I think. And it's got my attention for that.
- The Marvelous Mr. Way gives us the insight into the past of the circus, showing us that Klaus was there in the beginning, but was already a twisted and monstrous little guy. That, and his father was a piece all of his own to boot too. Really curious to see what comes of all of that down the road, but I do enjoy a good deep dive into character's pasts like that.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
- Whose going to get the last of the golden tickets?
- Who is the Trojan?
- Where did Tombstone take Valkyrie/Gravedigger?
MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:
Finish the Song takes the cake for me. When Laner smashes a promo outta the park, he smashes it. And the symbology, the level of whit and metaphor, and just the whole bloody tone of death again was fuckin brilliant. I think I'm going to be adding this one to the roster of promos that I'm going to be using as a reference marker again and again, because it just hooked me into it. Connection to the opponent, delivery, all of it makes it a top piece for me.
HAVE YOUR SAY:
Look at him owning up to his own fervor and trying to apologize. I don't think that's going to go over as well as you think bud, and Savor didn't care. Fantastic stuff, and I hope this becomes a bit of a challenge for Captain, as he tries to figure out how he fits into the whole scheme of everything and has broken that promise to the folks of Arcadia. No answers, and despite a really fun bit in the match with the shield being used like a dish no victory, he's once again back at square one of the equation.
