POP OF THE NIGHT:

It absolutely is Creatures of the Night. The 'gather all the warriors to stop this asshole' moment was definetly a good plan by the rulers of Arcadia and probably would've worked...if it was anyone but Tombstone. There's definite shades of ETM here but I'd say even that Tombstone is nothing compared to what he is now, just this pure embodiment of death itself and truly, legitimately terrifying. Arcadia itself being more grounded far as powers go with a majority of everyone being mere humans with all the weaknesses humanity has and that emphasizes just how much a threat Tombstone is being the only supernatural force in Arcadia and how fucked they all were going into his domain.

The segment felt like a true horror story, this unimaginably powerful force of nature itself raining down Hellfire upon everyone and then his minions come in and fuck everyone up.  The Ferryman may well be the most imposing villain in OSW history and if anyone had any doubts Tombstone isn't the big bad in Arcadia now, this segment washed them all away.

BURNING QUESTIONS: Will Jasper get his revenge against CJ?

Does Gemini pass the test or is she going to be sacrificed like all those who knew too much?

Why won't they tell Attano about his kid? Did something go wrong and she's passed away really or is she someone else they don't want him to know about?

What exactly does Zeus want with Grizzly and will it be the last time Zeus uses the antagonist?

How will everyone combat Six Feet Under? Who in the blue hell is that evil woman that keeps haunting Narcissa?

HAVE YOUR SAY:
Gino: Well that was a big turn of events. Turns out Colt also nearly fucked over Gino with his big scoop and now Troy's just another lose end he needs to take out. I'm very intrigued to see how this continues with Candy's involvement too, early days so far but Gino's definetly been portrayed very well and intrigued to see what happens post match.

Destructo Boy: Well fuck, the kid's lost more family members now that Doom is coming for Maxwell's throat. Aside from the brutal beating the kid got, I do like the fact that most of Doom's anger seems to be at TBM and the idea of betrayal as a whole (plus the trying to burn down the factory and all) and James seems to be stuck in the middle of all this. I have this feeling poor DB and Felix are going to be on the outside reluctantly fighting because they have to, not because they want to for this feud between DOOM and TBM and there's a lot of fun to be had there so I cannot wait for it to continue

POP OF THE NIGHT: Genuinely speaking, it's hard not to go root for Creatures of the Night being the top segment. Three massive fronts of force meeting in one space, and then by the power of Tombstone his enemies fall in front of him? Just some fantastic stuff. The weight of several different fights, the clashing, the setting and the poser image in the show? Just some delightful stuff!

BURNING QUESTIONS:

How is Redgrave going to get his revenge on Thorpe, and can Cade stop him in time?

What's Zeus going to have Grizzly do to the match?

Where is Michela? Why'd they tell Attano to give up when he's just starting?

What's gonna be the fate of the crew of Klaus Way's freak show?

HAVE YOUR SAY:

Candy Kane: This was just honestly a fantastic segment. I loved just the level of sass and implied history here with this one, the fact that Gino's just absolutely pissed to see her there and she's rubbing it in just that snarky little bit is wonderful. But smart enough to know when the gun gets going, so does she. Though I think out of all of the three, it's really the Reverend who's going to be in the deepest trouble of the three here. Can't wait to see how this resolves for sure!

Captain Arcadia: So I think CA here is pushing Hatchet's buttons. Like the way he's acted is practically nuts almost, and has that sort of backing like that. Seein g him come out on stage, and personally egg him on in front of a crowd? That's not a rookie trying to play nice, that's the movement of someone who's playing to the ego of the other. With this part, I don't think it's the shield as much as it is trying to lure him out to get the info of who hired Hatchet. Absolutely adoring this feud, excellent stuff!

POP OF THE NIGHT: (What was the moment, in segment, that you enjoyed the most and why?)

Has to be Creatures of the Night

This segment was a fantastic go home segment going into Locked and Loaded.  Narcissa standing back and watching half of her opponents be demolished by SFU.  Harold and CJ both come across as ballsy as fuck here.  It also puts Tombstone on the pedestal of being a monster/threat supreme going into Locked and loaded.  I cannot wait to see if there’s a part two to this where we survey the aftermath.  This has set the table greatly for the upcoming PPV.

BURNING QUESTIONS: (What questions does the show have you asking after reading?)

What will come of the side show revolt?

Will Jackson find Redgrave or will Redgrave find CJ first?

What’s Zeus’s plan for Gemini vs. EMM and what does Grizzly St. Claire have to do with it?

Will Captain Arcadia get his shield back or will Hatchet split his wig?

HAVE YOUR SAY: (How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)

Harold: Fuck, while Harold’s come across as badass recently SFU made him and CJ look like bitches here, and I'm not even mad.  Because Tombstone and his crew are coming across like monsters, the need to build these characters is genuine, and if Old Harold can help elevate other characters it warms my heart.  It also helped me form my roleplay this week and drive my creativity.  Also, why should Harold stop looking for Michaela?  What is George hiding from him?  What the hell is going on and how could this all play into everything?  Harold gaining some real sympathy here as a man just wanting to find his estranged daughter.  I cannot wait to see how everything plays out at Locked and Loaded. I am truly honored as a writer counting myself Lucky to be a former Champion here, and I cannot express how much of an imposter syndrome I have finding myself in the same match as Robbie, Connor, and the dude who has his own inner fed meme of LOL Laner wins named after him.  I cannot express how much I love this place and the people in it.

Nox: Nothing to really leave feedback on but I always trust the process here and it's never let me down.

POP OF THE NIGHT:

Okay but how could it NOT be Creatures of the Night? This is the most supernaturally terrifying Tombstone has been since the Night in the Mortuary way back. Like, as a segment, this gives vibes similar to what Ministry Taker was, except way more terrifying. Tombstone is just a terrifying force to be reckoned with, and the other members of Six Feet Under make him all the more intimidating.

From everyone arriving in lightning strikes to the terrifying woman appearing at the very end to torment Narcissa, I think this segment is what would define Six Feet Under as a terrifying stable in OSW. Seriously, who could take these guys down?

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  • Will Klaus' freak show turn on him?
  • Why does Zeus have an interest in Grizzly?
  • What's going on with Michaela?
  • Who is the mystery woman?

HAVE YOUR SAY:

Jackson Cade: I loved the pay off here from last week. I think less can be more in times like this, and Redgrave's mind games were perfect. We can assume exactly why Redgrave wants CJ next. Could be to torment Cade more, could be because he's pissed a CJ. Either way, I'm dying to see where this goes come the PPV.

Hatchet: Man I love how fucking smarmy he is. I still wonder if Cap has something up his sleeve to deal with the Gathering. Either way, Hatchet seems way too confident to not have a plan of his own in the works. Excellent work this week!

POP OF THE NIGHT:

I'll give this to Creatures of the Night. This shows off what a scary monster Tombstone has become a whole lot more, what with his seemingly magical ability to close gates and summon rain from out of nowhere. And while I liked the way CJ fought back in the face of certain defeat, there was no way they were beating both the numbers game or a very monstrous Ferryman. Plus, we got to see the unknown woman again after she messed with Narcissa's head just outside all the action that took place. How Tombstone knew she was there, I'm not sure, but I'll assume it has something to do with his newly acquired supernatural powers. I'm loving this show of dominance from Six Feet Under and I can't wait to see what happens with them next.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

Again, who is this mysterious woman that's tormenting Narcissa? We got a better look at her thanks to the image in the front page, but we still don't have a name or a motive for her actions. Hopefully we'll get an answer at the PPV.

What's the plan that Zeus set up for Gemini with Grizzly St. Claire? Does it involve making sure she doesn't remember what transpired at the door? Maybe it's just to test the Antagonist's mettle? I'm not sure, but I wouldn't want to be Gemini in this scenario.

Why is George telling Harold to forget about Michaela? Is what she's become or what Cade thinks became of her that bad? While I'm sure it's something that's not gonna be good in terms of what she is, I can't help but wonder why all the secrecy?

HAVE YOUR SAY:

Oh dear, Maxwell burned down the Doom factory? I have to wonder why; there's no real strategical advantage in it for him to do so. At least, not as he is now. Was it an order from Tombstone while he was Blaze? Did he do it on his own volition? I don't know why he did it, but he's making a ton of enemies in the process. The big question is if he'll survive the onslaught that both the Besties and Six Feet Under will deliver onto him at Locked and Loaded. I doubt it, given that Doom wanted him dead for leaving the Pool Boys while Malakai and Gravedigger want him dead for regaining his humanity. I don't see a future where this guy walks out alive. At least not without his son helping him too. Guess we'll see if I'm gonna be down another character or he'll survive and get to live through the consequences of his actions.

POP OF THE NIGHT:

It's creatures of the night. It felt like something straight out of a horror movie and Tombstone is showing his true power now. He's always been a terrifying force but this version of him, calculated and heinous with a powerful group in Six Feet Under has been amazing and should terrify anyone facing him. I won't lie, I'm scared of what will happen to Narcissa at Locked and Loaded due to this and the woman closing out the segment was the cherry on top of the fear sundae.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

Who is the woman terrifying Narcissa, is she part of Six Feet Under or is she above Tombstone?

What secrets does George possess?

What is Zeus's plan with Grizzly?

HAVE YOUR SAY:

Well I'm loving this supernatural high fantasy horror element we have going, always a cool element to be included in. That's always been something I love. Tombstone looks like a force but Narcissa always has a plan and I wonder what will happen in the main event at Locked and Loaded. Will Hydra help her like the Uprising did or will she be on her own this time? I'm expecting to find out more about this woman and I really want to see it play out.

POP OF THE NIGHT: Creatures of the Night

This segment was beautifully horrifying. It had a true eerie feeling. I love the supernatural look at Six Feet Under here. I also love that this was the way the night was capped off, a true go home for Locked and Loaded. Not only was this segment a great read, but it was a great setup for the upcoming Main Event.

BURNING QUESTIONS:

  • Who is the woman?
  • What's George Cade's angle?
  • What does Zeus want with Grizzly?

HAVE YOUR SAY:
The line's been drawn in the sand and it has been revealed that Jasper's target isn't Jackson at all.. but CJ instead. This was a great series of segments here over the past few weeks through and through. First, you have Cade having to revisit a very dark place from his past. Then you have the lights going out, the Eagle Unit freaking out and an injury in the madness. All of this gets capped off by the reveal that Redgrave plans to go after CJ. Amazing!
