Quote from Eclipse on 15 September 2024, 13:52POP OF THE NIGHT:
Not Very Nice. Well, that was unexpectedly sinister! The last thing I had on my bingo card was Sunshine smacking someone upside the head with a sledgehammer. Either the gas had more of an effect on him than it seems, or Sunshine is on a weird supervillain arc. Him taking the notes makes me wonder if instead of a gas to make people feel grief, he's going to make a happiness gas. If he does, will it just be on an unmasked Nox, or on the whole of Arcadia? Not only was the segment shocking in and of itself, but I have so many questions, which means I get to look forward to answers.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
- Maybe this has already been established in lore, but... What the fuck is the Terminal Man that Tombstone is?
- Was the young boy in the circus really kidnapped, or did he run away to the circus of his own volition? If that turns out to be the case and Captain Arcadia wins... Where will he return the boy to?
- Why is Destructo Boy so happy to take a beating, then be put into a match with impossible odds? He MUST have some kind of backup plan.
- The APD clearly no longer care about due process (not that I blame them) - how far will they go to deal with their enemies? Also, I'm wondering if they will have a showdown with Ares and co - Tombstone returned them, right? I may be misremembering.
- I don't know much about the Pool - Will TBM really be returned to Blaze if he goes in, or could he be something else entirely?
HAVE YOUR SAY:
All fine and dandy here. Desperation and obsession are dangerous things, and once more Aurora's naivete about the dangers other people pose and the reactions she will get is showing through. I feel this has to be a wake-up call for her - being captured by a serial killer with zero control over her environment and no safety equipment is not the usual level of danger she is accustomed to, and I look forward to seeing if this experience will have any lasting effects on her.

Quote from Reverend Ezekiel Graves on 17 September 2024, 17:25POP OF THE NIGHT:
Not Very Nice: This segment felt like a scene out of a movie. It was very well written, I could practically hear the sound of crying from the man curled up on the floor. Sunshine continuing to smile during the assault was eerie and chilling. I’ll need to go back and review their rivalry because this segment was badass.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
- What will Sunshine do with Nox's notes?
- What does Terminal Man mean?
- Has Tombstone and Gravedigger’s relationship changed after their match?
- What will happen to TBM at the Odyssey Pool?
HAVE YOUR SAY:
First, I want to thank Candy Kane’s handler for a great match. Your promo was well written, and thank you for the match I know you were having CPU issues, so I appreciate it.
I personally love everything about how Graves is being portrayed. The results staff is handling him perfectly.
I'm really bummed about how things turned out with Josh Conway’s handler. I honestly thought it would’ve been cool for him to be the one to finally beat the unstoppable Graves. How perfect would it have been the underdog’s champion pulling out a win when the odds were against him? I felt we could’ve had a long storyline, with our characters being yin and yang throughout our OSW careers.

Quote from Tombstone on 17 September 2024, 17:54POP OF THE NIGHT:
The Bad Blood Series took the night for my this week. All three segments did a superb role of making me very excited for the main event of Bad Blood. The Harold and George side-angle part of the story was told really well as well, and the fact that Jackson and CJ went above and beyond their usual methods to teach Six Feet Under a lesson can't go understated.
I loved Not Very Nice but I wasn't sure this was where Mister Sunshine was heading... not yet anyway. From reading his promos to recent segments, this seemed out of character. Is it the gas? It could be. That'd make the most sense.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
- How affected is Mister Sunshine?
- Is Mrs. Cade dead or dying?
- Will George tell Harold what he wants to know or die to keep the secret?
- How fucked are Six Feet Under?
- Is TBM going back in the pool!?
HAVE YOUR SAY:
This week was subdued I thought, but not every segment can be 100mph. I remember when I feuded with Cade and Dr. Death. We had a week where all three people had their segments like this and it was very cool. This had those vibes, but wasn't quite at the same level I think. I love this story with Foley so much and the HIAC is going to be extremely dangerous for both characters.
I feel like this storyline is the Kersh/Scarecrow of Volume III and that excites me beyond anything I've probably ever had done for my characters in OSW. That's a high bar with Darby and Tommy Hawk, but it's being set.
Between Foley and Drewitt, I've been blessed with the best angles I could ever dream of.

Quote from El Mariachi Muerte on 18 September 2024, 05:42POP OF THE NIGHT: (What was the moment, in segment, that you enjoyed the most and why?)
FELIX FOLEY
I love the edge we see in Foley here. A man who has fought to maintain a good outlook but it's just been beaten out of him by life, Arcadia itself and Tombstone.
One of those things he can lock in a cage, and we see every inch of that emotion pour out for him as he watches over his mum.
Damned good segment, damned pivotal moment for Felix. Go get 'em boy, take down that Tombstone.
BURNING QUESTIONS: (What questions does the show have you asking after reading?)
- What did Redgrave do to Aurora?
- How far exactly is Ezekiel willing to go to show the power of God?
- The beat down of Gravedigger and Midnight was brutal, but Ruby is right... What is the retaliation to this that inevitably follows Cade and Thorpe now?
HAVE YOUR SAY: (How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)
SUNSHINE
Yes! I was looking to build a bit of something beyond the smiley exterior of Sunshine and I think this segment is a nudge in the right direction. For Sunshine, he's devoted to the pursuit of happiness and friendship in Arcadia - but the darkness of this place has got to have taken a toll on such a positive outlook. Is this the effect of the gas? A nice guy having a bad moment? Something else entirely?
I love that we get a hint. Desperate to see what creative cooks up for Sunshine moving forward here.

Quote from Malakai Midnight on 19 September 2024, 12:13POP OF THE NIGHT:
The way the match was written between Gravedigger and Tombstone was my personal fav thing of the night. It built Gravedigger as a legit threat to CJ Thorpe without harming Tombstone in any way and led to my fav segment of the night, which closed the show.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
- Is Mother Cade dead?
- What's going on with Sunshine?
- Who did kill Db's mom?
HAVE YOUR SAY:
I've been really happy with everything Malakai Midnight this month. The alliance with Gravedigger and Six Feet Under is building the character in the right direction and his manipulation of Thorpe/Cade will now come to a head at Bad Blood.
Just being in the same space as Cade and Thorpe's handlers is a privilege for me and I hope that I've made it challenging for Cade at Bad Blood.

Quote from Gravedigger on 19 September 2024, 13:52POP OF THE NIGHT:
Not Very Nice was extremely sinister. I like many knew there was something extra about Sunshine but I didn't expect it to come out so soon. I loved it though. I also loved the Bad Blood Series that kept the temperature really high heading into the Pay Per View. As a go home show, there was a lot of top tier segments that bring us to the promised land of our next special event.

HAVE YOUR SAY:
Gravedigger has been handled tremendously throughout this arc and before. Much like Sam, I'm really excited to be in this position at Bad Blood, with the top handlers that we are. For the storyline, everything has been superior to my expectations and I like this sinister side of Gravedigger that has come out and made him look more than just a lacky. He's been given a great personality, as horrible as it is, and made into his own man. I love that.

Quote from The Burned Man on 19 September 2024, 13:54POP OF THE NIGHT:
Giving this to the Bad Blood series. Holy shit, what a trio of segments here tonight. Not only did we get to see a more villainous side of the Cade family, we also got to see the lengths they'd go to in order to get even. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I kind of hope they get their ass kicked for pulling the shit they did this week.
Also want to give a shout out to Mum's the Word. Started out very old school with the backstage promo, but then Felix came out of nowhere with chair shots to Tombstone that he barely registered. We also got to see him reveal the fact that he was the Terminal Man to him right to his face, which pissed the Ferryman the fuck off and more than likely set up a murder in the making for what could be the last of the Foley Family. Fingers crossed that isn't the case though.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
Since when did the Cades become such assholes? Even before George knew about Mary being beaten within an inch of her life, we had him taunting Harold Attano about how he'll never know what happened to Michaela to his face. I really want to see him get his ass kicked now, if not by Harold, then by someone else.
How bad will the repercussions be for CJ and Jackson for having the entirety of the APD assault the two handcuffed members of Six Feet Under? I get that they were doing it to send a message that they wouldn't take Mary's abuse laying down, but surely that was a step too far, right?
Did Nox's gas affect Mr. Sunshine in any way? He acted unlike himself in that segment. I have to imagine the Blues had some sort of impact on him. Unless there's something about Sunshine's perpetual happiness that we don't know, that is.
HAVE YOUR SAY:
TBM - Hmm... Not sure how to feel about the potential return of Blaze. It doesn't really make sense to me why he would want him turned back into the entity that burned his lab down instead of just killing him for his past actions. That'd make more sense to me than dragging his ass back to the Odyssey Pool, imo. I'm sure there's gonna be a big payoff at Bad Blood, but right now, I'm just not feeling it quite yet.
Calypso - Nothing much to say about her this week. Liked the match despite the Voodoo Child not getting in much offense. Can't get too much in every time.

Quote from Old Nick Morningstar on 19 September 2024, 21:37POP OF THE NIGHT:
Cutting Room Floor.
Jasper is such an awesome character, super sinister. Aurora might be fucked. Door slams and screams usually don't signal anything pleasant.
And the ending of the segment, like the last 3 lines? ... *chefs kiss* Kudos to whoever wrote that.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
- What is Jasper gonna do with Aurora?
- Will Old Nick and Hatchet cross paths again?
- What's Sunshines plan now that he has the notes?
- Terminal Man... ?
HAVE YOUR SAY:
Honestly loving every second of it. I've said it a million times and I'll say it again; this place is such a breath of fresh air.
I'm super content with my run so far and really excited to see how it goes.
I just hope I'm keeping up with all you rockstars. 😀

Quote from CJ Thorpe on 19 September 2024, 22:43POP OF THE NIGHT:
I'm going to go with Mr. Sunshine's rampage. I'm glad to see the gas has an effect on him. What that actually is remains to be seen, but it's interesting to see something else come out of Sunshine. This is the next facet he needs to really round out his character.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
Harold's really gonna kick that asshole George's ass, isn't he?
It'd be a real bitch if Arcadia won and freed the kid, and the kid stayed of his own free will, wouldn't it?
Can Aurora escape Redgrave?
What are Hatchet's rules going to really entail?
It's hard to argue with DOOM's logic. Maybe Blaze will do better paying for his crimes than TBM. But will TBM actually go in the Pool?
HAVE YOUR SAY:
Thorpe - I had to do a double take when reading the ending beatdown. The APD being utilized like this is a big escalation. It says a lot about George Cade's rule over his sons, and about how far Jackson has fallen that it got to this point. This is definitely a program where everyone is in the mud, no pun intended.
