WWF Sunday Night Heat #1 - Y2J Problem

Quote from Harold Attano on 3 July 2024, 18:53Listen up and listen good, Val Venis. You think you’re some sorta hotshot Ad-ult film star. What’s that gonna do for you boy? Nuttin’, not thing damned one when you step in that ring with Big Bossman and I take the cassette tape from your most recent feature and use it to choke the life atta you! Because Val, you’re dealin’ with head of Corporate Security in the World Wrestling Federation and there ain’t nuttin’ but hard times coming for you.
Because when all’s said and done Imma break you. ‘Cause you’re on my cell block, in my ring, and on my time and Val the only thing I know is hard time. Not in the way you like, oh no Val, this hard time is gonna be very rough and physical, and it’ll end with you unconscious. But it’ll be from my boot in your ass and my nightstick upside your head.
‘Cause this ain’t about no porno version of Hard Times Val. This is the Big Bossman’s version of Hard Times and it’s gonna be hell for you son. So get ready because there ain’t a damn thing you can do to stop the Big Bossman!

Quote from Narcissa Balenciaga on 5 July 2024, 04:33Paul Heyman stands with microphone in hand while Brock Lesnar looms behind him.
"Greensboro, North Carolina, it's only appropriate that this is the place a hurricane goes to die. You see, this place knows their hurricanes, these people has seen hundreds of them destroy their homes, take their loved ones, and ruin everything they have ever worked for. It isn't a fun Halloween costume for an excuse of a man to wear, it strikes fear into everyone who walks these streets, all their lives could be shattered by the way the wind blows. It's not something to cheer for, it's something to hide from. They know the true and proper reaction to a hurricane so know when these fans cheer you and laugh at your antics, they're not reacting to a hurricane, they're reacting to a fool. The way a person should react to a hurricane is the way you'll react in this ring when this man standing right across from you ready to throw you around the way a true hurricane does, Maybe, once you feel the force of a true hurricane, you'll give up pretending like you're a superhero, and realize the only storm you'll be identified with is the F5 that destroys you and makes you go back to being called Gregory.

WWF Sunday Night Heat #1 - Y2J Problem
Greensboro Coliseum
Greensboro, North CarolinaShow Open:
Chris Jericho opens the show, calling out anyone from WCW aiding the Nitro stable that attacked him. He singles out Scott Steiner first. Steiner comes to the ring, denying any involvement with Nitro, declaring he’s here for gold. Jericho laughs, and Steiner challenges him for Survivor Series. Jericho ups the ante, proposing a classic Survivor Series match with each finding three partners. They agree, but Jericho suggests they preview the battle in tonight’s main event. The crowd erupts as both men stare each other down, setting the stage for an explosive showdown later in the night and at Survivor Series.
Brock Lesnar w/ Paul Heyman vs. The Hurricane
- Brock Lesnar dominates, unleashing a relentless onslaught on The Hurricane, displaying sheer power and aggression.
- The referee disqualifies Lesnar for excessive brutality, awarding a shocking victory to The Hurricane amidst a stunned audience.
Winner by Disqualification: The Hurricane
Ringside:
The crowd watches in horror as Lesnar's fury knows no bounds, as he seems to want to end The Hurricane's career... or worse. Suddenly, Al Snow rushes to the ring, delivering a series of Head shots to fend off Lesnar. Hurricane escapes, battered but safe. Lesnar is enraged by Snow's interference. Paul Heyman promises they'll get him later.
Raven vs. Goldust
- Raven and Goldust start off attempting to play mindgames with the other, before Raven takes it outside the ring, giving the man from the Bowery the advantage.
- Despite Raven's relentless aggression, Goldust capitalizes on a crucial mistake, nailing Raven in the Levy Family Jewels with the Shattered Dreams and securing the win.
Winner: Goldust
Ringside:
As Goldust celebrates his hard-fought victory, a video starts playing on the Titantron. The title "Gold Standard" appears, and the footage reveals Val Venis starring in a porn alongside none other than Terri Runnels, Goldust's ex-wife. They make fun of Goldust's inability to get it up for a woman, and Val says that the Big Valbowski never shatters dreams, only... cut off by Terri's moans. Goldust storms out of the ring, headed right towards Val Venis, who has come out on the stage with Terri. Goldust just blows past them, not even saying anything.
Val Venis vs. Big Bossman
- Venis and Bossman clash in a hard-hitting, intense match, with both men going toe to toe and not giving a bit of leeway to the other.
- In the end, Val Venis dodges a Bossman Slam attempt, and puts the man from Cobb County on his back, hitting the Money Shot to secure the victory.
Winner: Val Venis
Backstage:
Backstage, Al Snow is ambushed by Brock Lesnar. Lesnar brutally slams Snow into equipment, determined to send a message. A referee rushes in, ready to count the pinfall. Just as Lesnar goes for the finishing blow, Snow topples a towering stack of speakers onto Lesnar. The momentary distraction allows Snow to escape, clutching his title. Furious but impressed, Paul Heyman suggests they regroup.
WWF Hardcore Championship
Al Snow (c) vs. Diamond Dallas Page
- The wounded Al Snow barely makes it to the ring. DDP tries to take it easy on him, but Snow refuses to let him.
- DDP dominates Snow, kicking his ass all over the Greensboro Coliseum.
- Just as DDP signals for the Diamond Cutter, Raven ambushes him, nailing the Evenflow DDT, allowing a battered Al Snow to seize the opportunity and pick up the win.
Winner: Al Snow
Ringside:
Raven sits beside the defeated Diamond Dallas Page, accusing him of hiding his depression behind a facade of positivity after losing everything. Raven vows to strip away Page's illusions and expose his true, broken self.
Backstage:
Gregory Helms is interviewing enhancement talent, trying to find out if they know anything about Nitro. Big Bossman shows up, saying that he knows Helms is the vigilante Hurricane. Helms says he can't prove it, and Bossman says he will.
Scott Steiner vs. Chris Jericho
- Steiner spends most of the early match overpowering Jericho, but Y2J slowly begins to get momentum.
- Jericho goes for the Lionsault, but Steiner is able to trip the ref into the path, knocking him out. Jericho locks in the Walls of Jericho anyway, with Steiner tapping out to no ref.
- Suddenly, Mark Jindrak, Sean O'Haire, and Chuck Palumbo ambush Jericho with a flurry of kicks and slams.
- With a grin, Scott Steiner locks in the Steiner Recliner as his allies wake the ref to find an unconscious Jericho who can't answer the three count.
Winner: Scott Steiner
Ringside:
Standing over Chris Jericho's body, Scott Steiner takes the mic to say that while Jericho's been out here looking for the Nitro boogeyman, he's been recruiting some Natural Born Thrillers. It ain't about WCW, it's about respect. He and his young hosses are going to show Chris Jericho that no vanilla midget is going to disrespect Big Poppa Pump. They leave Jericho alone in the middle of the ring.
Steiner has his team.
