Foundation

In Nox, Promo by Nox

A house can only stand on a good foundation.  It needs to be built with sturdy construction.  Or a single once of misplaced weight can result in the place collapsing around your ears.  Years of work cast into the abyss.

Sometimes a joist is so infested by termites and ants that you’re better off reaching down, tearing that joist out, and replacing it before it costs you the entire foundation.  Before that infestation and rot grows and spreads to the entire house itself.  The walls decaying, literally falling from their framing as the wood decays behind the sheetrock.

Soon, the house itself is unstable and crumbling, and you can’t repair it fast enough to keep the walls up.  Soon, you’re trapped in a mess caused by your own inability to rid your home of pests that consumed the very house you created, pests that, by your own inaction, you invited to nest and fester in the very walls.

The House of Judgment has its infestation, one that’s been allowed to fester for far too long.  One that’s been allowed to siphon resources and call its own shots to the point that it exposed a pillar of the House almost putting Gravedigger’s head on a silver platter for the Cades.  Started a war with Way’s Circus again exposing that same pillar to physical harm and damage not just from the Circus, but The Former Besties, and Burning Justice.  You told Gravedigger, “Trust the process.”  What happens when your “process” becomes what’s rotting away the foundation of The House of Judgment?

For too long Malakai, you’ve been allowed unchecked power in the House of Judgement, you and your Owls have been allowed to damage the reputation of Zeus’s creation.  It’s time that someone evicted your little infestation from the place you’ve been so comfortable in and I’m just the man to pull you from the foundation of the House of Judgment.  With the very power of the Corporation and Pantheon, I will reach down into the foundation of The House of Judgment and rid it of its Midnight Owl infestation and use the very power I’ve been imbued with to reinforce the rot you’ve left behind.

All you need to do is breathe in my toxin Malakai and it’ll all slip away, your place in House you’ve begun to tear apart, the cult you’ve grown around yourself, and that Double Feature Championship all replaced by The Chemist and your fumigator.  The clock is ticking Malakai and with every passing second your time in this world draws closer to its end as does all of ours.  But when that bell rings this week that’s when your clock strikes Midnight and everything that you’ve built comes crashing down around you, your Judgment at the hands of an uncaring, careless world.  So, cherish your World the way it is in this moment because this weekend it all changes for you, as you’re uprooted from that hole that you’ve dug yourself into and pulled into the light of your defeat.
