I’m Not Stuck In Here With You…

In Felix Foley, Promo by Felix Foley

[Felix Foley stands inside Olympus, at ringside, beside the Hell in a Cell structure that has been erected at his request.]

[He looks up in awe.]

“It probably wouldn’t surprise you to know that I’m afraid of this thing. Terrified, in fact. I’ve not once stepped foot inside one and yet it gives me the heebie-jeebies just looking at it. Goosebumps, even.”

[Foley shows the hairs on his arms stood up and the goosebumps risen.]

“For most people, being locked inside here would be a feeling of terror. There would be nothing else. It’s a structure that demands blood and sacrifice. It demands raw passionate violence.”

[He walks up the ring steps and steps through the ropes, closing the door behind himself.]

“But for Tombstone, this is a playground. This will be where he locks his enemy within four walls of steel, much like a coffin and hammers them six feet into the ground.”

[Foley looks around.]

“I know you think you put momma in a cell.”

[He grimaces.]

“I know you think you’re putting me in one too.”

[That grimace turns to a defiant shake of the head.]

“But listen to me when I say this Tombstone and listen good.”

[Foley grabs the camera and pulls it uncomfortably close.]

“You killed my father – an asshole. Let’s face it, Fernicus wasn’t a good person. He wasn’t a good man. He wasn’t a good father. He wasn’t a good husband. He forfeited his life when he betrayed our family to start another. You being the one to take it is incidental. It’s not the reason why I’m angry. It isn’t why I’m stepping food inside this cell at Bad Blood.”

[He shakes his head again, looking down slightly.]

[His eyes rise to meet the camera, determination in them.]

“But my half-brother… Albert Lamplight, he didn’t deserve what you did. My mother, she didn’t deserve what you did. You took them from me, Tombstone. In your desire to destroy my entire bloodline, you’ve taken and taken and taken. You’ll take until there’s nothing left or I stop you.

And that’s why I need to do the unthinkable, face my fears and step into this cell. There’s a reason I took a chair to your skull last week. There’s a reason I want this match. You just don’t get it, do you? You think you’re in control. You think you’re the one that chooses when this ends and how it does so.”

[Felix takes a seat in the middle of the ring, releasing the camera.]

“You’re wrong.”

[He shakes his head.]

“You think you’re forcing me into a Hell in a Cell whereby I’ll be trapped inside with the monster who wants to end my bloodline. You think that tonight, when that door locks, I’m trapped in the worse hell imaginable with you.”

[Foley looks up with a sinister smile.]

“But I’m not stuck in here with you…

[His eyes glimmer.]

You’re stuck in here with me.
