[Doom stands in front of a white board with various calculations upon it.]
“You may have heard of Newton’s laws of motion.”
[He sighs.]
“First; a body remains at rest, or in motion at a constant speed in a straight line, except insofar as it is acted upon by a force.”
“Second; at any instant of time, the net force on a body is equal to the body’s acceleration multiplied by its mass or, equivalently, the rate at which the body’s momentum is changing with time.”
“And third; if two bodies exert forces on each other, these forces have the same magnitude but opposite directions.”
[He puts the marker down and steps back to review his work. It’s not very readable.]
“The first law expresses the principle of inertia; the natural behavior of a body is to move in a straight line at a constant speed. A body’s motion preserves the status quo, but external forces can perturb this.”
“The second law expresses the principle of momentum, which depends upon the amount of matter contained with the body, how quickly that body is moving and the direction.”
“Finally, the third law can be summarized thusly; to every action, there is always an opposed and equal reaction.”
[He nods.]
“At Chain Reaction when the big bang occurs and a cacophony of violence ensues inside the middle of that ring, it’ll start a body in motion. It will begin something extraordinary that will travel quickly, only to be affected by the forces which act upon it.”
“Such momentum will be unfathomable to the rest of the competitors in the match. It’ll be undeniable and unstoppable. Full of matter, the body will move quickly and expressly in just one direction.”
“And to every action that happens upon it, there will be an equal and opposite reaction.”
[Doom turns to face the camera..]
“I am that body.”
“Last week at Vendetta, you people set in motion a force that you cannot contain or stop. When that shovel hit my skull, it started something. It was the beginning of a Chain Reaction that not a single one of you will be able to stop. There will be a status quo throughout that match, which involves Doom beating each and every single one of you to within an inch of your existence.”
“Because the force and matter contained within this body, simply cannot be stopped. The momentum cannot be altered or changed, not now.”
“And when you people effect an action upon me; with violence and desperation, it will cause an equal an opposite reaction that will not only continue my motion to victory, but destroy everything in my path.”
“You started something you cannot stop.”
“And now, you will all kneel before Doom.”
